### "An excellent e-commerce store platform that's a little tricky to use."

January 17, 2018

5.0

It allows us to build e-commerce sites that look and feel entirely bespoke, great for clients that have pre-existing sites and need to keep the storefront on brand.

Pros

It is without a doubt the most comprehensive e-commerce site builder available with features other tools simply don't have or require 3rd party add-ons.

Cons

It isn't anywhere near as easy to use as some of its competition, limiting the number of times we use it to only those sites that need its extra complexity

### "Powerful Ecommerce Software that takes a whole lot of maintenance"

March 30, 2018

3.0

Pros

Software has powerful features and is open source. That means even if they don't have a feature, you can find a developer who has created it for you. Thousands of Developers are out there, so it's not hard to find them. There are lots of compatible apps that work with Magento, and it's become an industry standard. Websites on Magento usually look professional even with the basic templates.

Cons

With open source, there comes caveats. If you plan to update your version of Magento to the newest, you had better check with your third party features to make sure they will not break when upgraded. Requires PCI compliant reporting and hosting. Our site was hacked into a couple of times.

### "Adobe commerce"

January 20, 2023

Pros

Creating pages with drag and drop method was a very easy and convenient method even for the technology handicapped.

Cons

It's so annoying that it's pricing based on a certain percentage of our tension.

### "Very good and easy to use e-commerce software"

July 19, 2019

4.0

Pros

We have set up a shop for craft beer as part of an advanced education program with Magento. The software was very easy to use even for less experienced users. We were very satisfied with the features offered and the ease of use.

Cons

I can not name any disadvantages so far.

### "Potential CMS for eCommerce brands"

April 16, 2019

4.0

Pros

\- Used by many eCommerce brands (meaning that when things go wrong, it can be flagged up and queried with other users online).

Cons

\- Developers are hard to come by (unlike other CMS such as WordPress). - More difficult/less intuitive in the backend, meaning that website owners may struggle with basic changes.

### "The platform came up to us"

August 1, 2019

5.0

Pros

We first made an online store on Magento, and then we planned to transfer it to another platform. But no one else suited us, so the store stayed on the same CMS. In principle, this platform almost completely suits us.

Cons

The platform is certainly free, but in order to make a good online store, you need to buy plugins. Without them, you cannot connect payment services. We also needed a powerful and expensive hosting, because Magento consumes a lot of resources.

### "Time Saver"

April 6, 2019

4.0

Pros

The software is a real time saver. Saving 8-10 hours a week by getting data out of various platforms. Also has decreased our shopping to invoicing time by more then half.

Cons

I wish there were more platforms that we could sync with.

### "Great ecomemrce solution for large scale ecommerce stores"

October 28, 2019

4.0

A great tool if you're looking to run a high scale ecommerce business.

Pros

Magento is great for developing mid to large scale ecommerce stores. It offers stability as well as vast array of features.

Cons

The complexity of magento can be seen as a con. Even the smallest tasks are more complex than usual to implement and perform.

### "Robust and easy to use eCommerce portal"

April 19, 2019

4.0

Pros

Open Source and easy to configure eCommerce portal. Drag & Drop Integration. Multiple plugins are available for third-party integration.

Cons

If support is needed it's costly. Need a robust server as the software is heavy. Customization of the software is tough.

### "Feature rich but complicated"

January 29, 2019

3.0

Pros

Magento sits at the far end of features. It has heaps, many more than most people will use and more than a lot will ever need. This is a real benefit for the product.

Cons

It's a complicated product to administer and use when compared to other ecommerce applications. It could be a lot easier.

### "Only suitable for large online stores"

May 19, 2019

5.0

Pros

We made an online store for our colleagues at CMS Magento, because this platform is ideal for serving more than 1,000 customers per day. That is how many people visit their site every day. Another platform would hardly have done it.

Cons

I would not recommend anyone to make a site on CMS Magento, if you need to create a small online store that will house less than 100 products. It is simply unprofitable, because site maintenance is expensive.

### "Multifunctional online shopping management system"

January 1, 2019

5.0

Pros

We use the Magento platform to create small online stores (from 50 to 500 commodity items). CMS allows you to segment customers, create coupons and gift cards. You can optimize the store for search engines. A review system is available for products.

Cons

Magento platform provides a small selection of ready-made templates. There is no built-in graphic editor to change the design of the store. The batch file upload feature is not available.

### "The ecommerce platform"

January 19, 2018

### "Not the best option"

April 29, 2019

5.0

Pros

The platform has a large number of different functions, which is enough to fully customize the sites created by our employees. Managing the system is convenient to implement their well-designed admin panel.

Cons

There are more customizable systems, on the basis of which it is an order of magnitude easier to carry out the development of multifunctional sites. Often, portals start to work slowly, demanding cleaning of the cache.

### "Well, it helped me a lot to make an online store for a client and sell on the internet"

May 8, 2018

4.0

It is the most powerful for its product possibilities and configuration options. There are references of connectors between Magentos and ERPs of high level type Navition or Open ERP. You have many templates created for this CMS, which sometimes facilitates the choice of structures of the online store project. It is easier to make customizations of themes oriented to responsive projects.

Pros

Seems to be trusted by large ecommerce companies. Has been around for a long time. Seems to be secure

Cons

Magento costs loads of money, and has no advantage over other ecommerce software, which has a very active development community

### "Magento is a Leader in its Field"

January 8, 2019

5.0

For small businesses, helping solve their needs with Magento is key. It h as custom design tools, SEO management, and product management to really streamline your business. If you have the products and sales, and want a semi-easy way to manage it, I highly recommend using this software if you have the budget.

Pros

I like that it has such an extensive list of things you can do with it. From SEO marketing, to product management, to helping checkout, it's pretty awesome. It's all in one section.

Cons

For a beginner, it's really hard to understand. You need a lot of walk-throughs and guidance.

### "Good Ecommerce Option"

February 4, 2019

5.0

Pros

Magento is easy to use and offers availability for any size business, small or large with its capabilities.

Cons

Money talks! It can get very expensive but worth it if you pay. Acquisition (Adobe) looked great at first now there is more red tape involved.

### "Interesante gestión de tu ecommerce"

January 16, 2023

4.0

Pros

### "Excellent CMS for large online stores"

February 20, 2018

5.0

Pros

Magento is a very popular CMS, but it's not worth it to develop small on-line stores. In other respects, the software complex allows you to make an Internet store of any complexity, and if necessary its functionality can be expanded with the help of modules.

Cons

The interface of this CMS is difficult to call simple and intuitive - for the first time the eyes all run. The second negative point is the high cost of maintaining the system.

### "This software for online stores is one of the most complex I have used"

May 29, 2021

4.0

Pros

This software for online stores is one of the most complex I have used. It seems quite complex and complete to me.

Cons

You need a period of accommodation to use it. For beginners it can be too complicated. Templates are much more complex than other platforms. Its use requires serious resources from the web hosting server.

### "Good software, once you figure it out"

October 4, 2016

4.0

Great, but not super-user-friendly off the bat. Not as many custom options as WordPress or similar companies, but once you figure it out, your site looks very clean. It also syncs with loads of products, such as Acctivate, which can help you have a live inventory system. Very useful.

Pros

Makes a very clean website, can work with a lot of other software companies for things like inventory.

Cons

Not immediately obvious how to change particular features, some issues with auto-generating passwords as well.

### "I use Magento to power my ecommerce operation"

March 30, 2018

4.0

Pros

Compared to similar platforms, Magento seems to offer the most customizeability for an online store.

Cons

It took me a long time and a lot of headaches to finally understand the PHP and XML that underlies a lot of Magento's structure.

### "Awesome product"

December 14, 2016

5.0

As a long time fan of the X-Men as a whole and Magneto in particular, I enjoyed this tremendously. I ordered this at the same time as "Magneto: Testament," which was finally reprinted, and the two pair together extremely well. Bunn gets Magneto's voice perfectly in this volume, as we see him roaming the country, eliminating threats to mutantkind. There are a couple of instances where we think we're about to see a softer side of Magneto, only to have him revert to his true form time and time again, which is essentially what this story is, coming on the heels of Magneto partnering with Cyclops for the past few years, but now going out on his own again. The second arc deals with Magneto seeking vengeance for perhaps the most infamous mutant-on-mutant crime, the Mutant Massacre (a classic and incredible story from the 1980s that included the first published encounter between Sabretooth and Wolverine). It's worth picking up that collection if you want to know more about the Marauders, who are the victims of Magneto's wrath here. The final page of this collection left me wondering what direction this will head next, and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for the next volume.

### "Excellent experience when managing content and product configuration."

June 26, 2018

5.0

Very complete management modules for the customization of my store. ease in managing the internal functionality of the web.

Pros

Magento offers everything you need to start and manage an e-commerce business. It provides tools to boost traffic, sales and customer participation. It allows adapting any aspect of your site, making it fully scalable to the needs of the business. Recommended as the best e-commerce software for fast growing companies and online businesses, it is an advanced solution that requires the developer's implementation and, as such, offers flexibility and complete customization.

Cons

Some drawbacks with some modules. but that is nothing that can not be solved. You must be a trained person to manage the content and products of your store.
