### "Great design for mobile devices"

November 8, 2018

5.0

Pros

The online store of our company is made on Magento and uses the same-name CMS. Most of all I like that the site is perfectly adapted for mobile platforms. You can often find that it is convenient to use a website from a computer, but not from a smartphone. In CMS Magento, there is no such problem, thanks to responsive web design.

Cons

In CMS Magento, we could not add payment systems on our own. I had to hire third-party programmers to help deal with the situation.

### "Complexity of installation and configuration"

April 23, 2019

5.0

Pros

An open source platform, the functionality of which was easy for us to increase to suit our needs. I really liked the presence of built-in search engine optimization and an excellent community of developers.

Cons

For beginners, the process of installing and configuring a CMS is very complicated and can not do without our more experienced employees. Sometimes it starts working slowly and only cleaning the cache helps.

### "The worst control panel in a CMS ever"

May 10, 2019

2.0

I used it once, the UX was so bad and I was so frustrated. I wanted to update Magento to a newer version, but was not able to do so. I just asked my customer to move to Shopify.

Pros

Everybody says that Magento has a lot of functionalities and that, if you have a really big catalog of products, Magento is for you. I am not sure why WooCommerce or Shopify wouldn't be good for a very big catalog, though. In my case, I used Magento only once and its admin panel had such a bad UX, that I just asked my customer to switch to Shopify.

Cons

The worst control panel UX I ever saw in a CMS. Probably the version my customer had installed was not the newest, however it should be not older than 2-3 years old, and the UX looked like websites in the 90s!! I think the UX of your control panel can really make potential users leave if it is not excellent.

January 10, 2019

### "A convenient platform for online stores"

May 31, 2018

5.0

Pros

For stores oriented to the whole world there is a pleasant function - multicurrency. Do not have to build "crutches", look for plug-ins or pay programmers. And also pleased with the opportunity to offer an individual price to each customer.

Cons

Install a system without programming skills is almost impossible, that is, you will have to pay the appropriate specialists. Hosting, too, will have to be spent, because it requires powerful equipment.

### "Great product, issues with apps"

January 12, 2018

4.0

Pros

This product can do almost anything that you want or need it to do for creating and operating an online business.

Cons

This product is fairly robust although we are using the newest version and it doesn't have as many third party apps as the older one.

### "Used it to build an online shop, its pretty good and it can get the job done"

June 27, 2018

4.0

Pros

I like that it has good set of tools and settings that are very customisable and easy to use. The tools for creating each page and section are very specific and brought done to the smallest of details, which makes every page unique.

Cons

I don't like that sometimes it gets buggy and it just stops working, so you need to restart the whole server and start over, which makes the work slow and nervous.

### "Must Have Developer"

August 29, 2018

3.0

Pros

I liked that it was free to download, you cannot argue that price! I had heard from a colleague that they loved the platform and the community, so I figured it was worth a try.

Cons

I quickly discovered that I could not embark on this journey alone. Yes, this software is free...but you cannot go about working on a website without a developer on your side. This is where it becomes incredibly pricey!

### "Awful experience"

November 2, 2018

2.0

Pros

I don’t remember liking anything about magento. The features are robust but they are hard to find within the system.

Cons

I used magento for years. It never got easier or more user friendly. Awful user experience and the features don’t really make up for the clunkiness or messiness...

Adobe Commerce is the perfect solution to small and medium enterprises that are fully ready to take take their business higher into he world of the online. It is very expensive though but the value of what you paid for is ultimately acquired. The free trial version gave me the opportunity to explore all its features and learn how it works. Their customer support services is perfect. it is readily available on Android mobile.

Cons

The fact that it is very expensive, makes it difficult for those who are interested to use it to purchase it.

### "The enterprise PHP eCommerce platform"

November 12, 2018

3.0

Pros

Magento is the de-facto solution for eCommerce in PHP. This means there is a lot of support in the ecosystem and almost all use cases can be catered for. There is also a large market for freelance developers.

Cons

The version of Magento I used was quite old and it is very resource hungry, also using XML feels outdated. However there is now a newer version out which addresses some of these issues.

### "It helps make a great online store"

July 31, 2019

5.0

Pros

I led the development of the online store of our company. We decided to do it on Magento, because this platform supports a large number of high-quality plug-ins and settings.

Cons

The platform is complicated, so I had to attract experienced developers to develop an online store. The site turned out great, but it was also very expensive. I do not recommend the platform to those who want to save.

User-Friendly: As a starting point, Magento is a user-friendly solution for those without the technical expertise to code a unique solution off their own back. The admin area is designed to be accessible to those without extensive knowledge or experience, so you should find it easy to piece together the basics of your online store yourself. Scalability: One of the biggest advantages of Magento is that it's a perfectly scalable system, so you can switch up your game from 10 products to 100,000. Magento is built with scalability in mind, so you can expect to find it easy to ratchet things up when the time comes. Feature-Intensive: Because Magento has the capacity to be such a huge product, it can get pretty feature intensive. This is good, in the respect that you can make Magento do pretty much whatever you need it to do. However, be aware that this can increase the complexity of the system, which can make it difficult should you need to draft in the help of a Magento developer.
