### "An incredible mail and personal information management application"

July 23, 2026

5.0

Nevertheless, I can say that my experience with this software was good, and I genuinely liked working with it. I can say that it significantly facilitated our work and allowed us to communicate with other companies seamlessly. I believe that this product has a lot of potential and can be successfully integrated into the work of various organisations. Therefore, I would recommend this software to other companies.

Pros

I had the opportunity to use Microsoft Outlook when I worked as an IT Marketing Intern for Traveledex. I can say that I genuinely liked it for various reasons. Firstly, it has a very advanced email management solution that allows you to sort and categorise your messages according to your Folders, Categories, Flags, Rules, and Filters. Another interesting feature is that it has an integrated calendar where you can plan your meetings, schedule appointments, set reminders for important events, and share your schedule with colleagues to set up meetings. Besides, I discovered that you can easily operate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Teams with this application.

Cons

However, I understand that this software has some significant disadvantages. Firstly, it can be overwhelming for someone who has never used it because of its complexity and excessive number of features. Secondly, you need to pay for an Office 365 subscription to use it for business purposes. Thirdly, it is a resource-intensive program that requires you to have a powerful PC with sufficient RAM, CPU, and hard drive space. Another downside is that if you have many emails and attachments stored in your Outlook folder, it will work more slowly on your computer, especially if you are using a desktop version of the application. Moreover, it is highly dependent on the stability of your internet connection and has limited offline functionality. Lastly, the setup process can be complicated for some people if they have multiple email accounts or problems with the Exchange server.

### "Stress-Free Daily Email Management for Over 5 Years"

August 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been very positive. Outlook is my primary email service and I check it several times every day. It's a critical part of my daily routine. It's dependable, and I would recommend it for anyone who needs to maintain a simple, organized, and efficient workflow.

Pros

What I like most about Outlook is that it allows me to manage around 50 emails a day with no stress. I can easily pin important emails to the top of my inbox and save emails into custom categories. The search function works great... I can find old conversations using a simple keyword or the sender's "from" name. I'm able to attach documents, images, or Google Docs links with no problem. It feels like a complete system that I can count on.

Cons

While the core features are great, the spam filtering sometimes puzzles me, i.e. occasionally letting questionable emails through and sending obvious (to me) legitimate emails to the junk folder. Also, I have to adjust the screen view each time in order to maximize the screen area that I can see and work from. It's a minor issue (and not really necessary), but I choose to adjust it every time I use it.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft Outlook

I chose Microsoft Outlook because it's well-respected, has more features, is easier to access, and appears to be better structured. Plus, I can scale effortlessly as my needs grow. Outlook easily handles my daily influx of 50+ emails while keeping my workflow fast and organized.

### "New Outlook is terrible"

August 5, 2026

2.0

With new outlook, my experience has been so frustrating. Unfortunately, I got a new computer and cannot get classic outlook on there.

Pros

I can set up folder in my in box to have things in special places. It has spell check. Mail seems to come in and not get lost in the internet world.

Cons

The new outlook is awful. They took away some of the best features. I can't set up the columns in mail like I used to. I get the 3 columns they choose and that's it. I can't alter the subject line on mail I've received. This is very important because I would add a word or 2 to clarify what it is. The address book is all messed up and I autofill pops up even after I delete email contacts.

### "Outlook: Day-to-Day Business Review"

June 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, Outlook is critical tool for our business as it provides reliable e-mail, calendar and contact management while supporting team collaboration through shared calendars. The customization options and accessibility allow our users to work in a way that best suits their needs. While generally dependable and secure, Outlook is a great way to ensure cyber security. The main challenge is the learning curve for new users and occasional performance issues with larger mailboxes.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is integral to our day-to-day business functioning for both e-mail, calendar and contact management. E-Mailing is a must in our workplace and helps to promote collaboration within the team. In addition, we utilize shared calendars which is a must to keeping the entire team in the loop. The ability to customize views and settings is great and allows each user to personalize Outlook based on their needs and preferences. Outlook can be accessed using the desktop software, web and mobile devices which allows all users to determine which application best works for them and their situation. Outlook is easy to access and connects quite easily; we do not often experience bugs or issues and when we do, they are often repaired or fixed quickly. Microsoft applications, including Outlook, have strong security features which ensures great filtering of junk/spam e-mails and ensures cyber safety.

Cons

When new employees join, they can sometimes find Outlook overwhelming because of the number of features. Furthermore, those with large mailboxes do experience performance issues, especially when searching for specific e-mails. The largest con would be that when Microsoft does perform updates, settings and workflows can often be change or be disrupted. For example: the new Outlook replaced Quick Parts with My Templates. While My Templates is a great feature, it does not function the same way Quick Parts does and therefore interrupted certain workflows within our business.

### "Sync well but need UI improvement "

August 31, 2026

5.0

As, it comes free for me, I enjoy using it for all of my tasks, sharing files across devices. I have used the web version and it seems it is a bit laggy than the mobile version.

Pros

I use daily to sync my files between devices, computer and phones. It is very fast and the app syncs well enough. I got 5TB of storage with OneDrive Business from the institution. So far, I have not seen any problem while uploading or downloading.

Cons

I think, the app UI looks a bit choppy. Also, the download speed sometimes drops while dealing with large files, videos.

### "Microsoft Outlook Keeps Me Connected"

### "Steep learning curve, then years of dependability"

August 16, 2026

4.0

Outlook is the tool I keep coming back to for serious email volume. Once it's configured, the combination of rules, a calendar that talks to the mail, and scheduling across a whole organization is hard to replicate elsewhere.

Pros

Outlook handles email and calendar as one tool rather than two, and that's the whole point. I can see an invite, check my availability, and respond without leaving the message. It scales in a way lighter clients don't: rules, folders, categories, and search that actually holds up across years of mail and thousands of messages. Scheduling Assistant is the feature I'd miss most, showing everyone's free/busy in one grid so booking a meeting with six people takes a minute instead of a thread. Integration across the Microsoft stack is seamless; Teams meetings, shared calendars, Office attachments, and OneDrive all work without configuration. Offline access on the desktop app is reliable, and the mobile app is genuinely good.

Cons

There's a lot of it. The interface is dense and takes time to learn, and Microsoft has been running several versions at once; classic desktop, new Outlook, and web. These don't behave identically and creates real confusion about where a setting lives. The new Outlook is still missing features the old one had. It can be slow to start and heavy on resources with a large mailbox, and search occasionally decides not to find something you know is there, requiring an index rebuild.

### "The ultimate communication tool for corporate environments"

August 3, 2026

5.0

Outlook web, or commonly known as the online version, is a great convenience to use, given you're almost always on the web. The handy app store has the mobile app, which is superfast and very easy to operate despite its shallow learning curve

Pros

Outlook is like our bread and butter for email communication. From tags to pinned emails to customised filtering tools and automated emails, Outlook has it all covered. The convenience of the Outlook app adds a few more sophisticated features that are not available in the online version.

Cons

Throughout the years of continuous use, very little on UI has changed, and it remains bold. Except for a few colour theme changes, most if not all, configurations are the same. Has much room for cosmetic customizations

### "A Reliable Tool for Workplace Communication and Organization"

July 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook has been positive. It is a dependable communication and scheduling tool that helps keep emails, meetings, and tasks organized. Its integration with Microsoft 365 makes it especially useful for workplace productivity.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is a reliable tool for managing emails, calendars, contacts, and scheduling. I like that it keeps communication organized, integrates well with other Microsoft applications, and makes it easy to manage appointments and tasks.

Cons

Outlook can become overwhelming when managing a large number of emails, and some advanced features may take time to learn. Search and organization tools can also require customization to work best for individual needs.

### "Reliable and Packed with Features, But a Bit Clunky at Times"

July 29, 2025

4.0

Overall, I really like using Outlook, especially for work. It’s dependable, well-integrated with other Microsoft tools, and has everything I need to stay organized. It’s not the flashiest email app out there, but it gets the job done and does it well. Just a little more streamlining and it’d be an easy five stars, I wish I could give it 4.5.

Pros

and contacts—all in one place. It’s super convenient to have my schedule and inbox side by side, especially when I’m trying to juggle meetings and deadlines. The interface is familiar and pretty easy to navigate once you get used to it. Plus, the focused inbox feature is surprisingly good at keeping my clutter under control.

Cons

That said, Outlook isn’t perfect. The mobile app is okay, but not nearly as smooth or intuitive as the desktop version. And occasionally, some settings are buried deeper than they need to be—it’s not always the most user-friendly when you’re trying to customize things.

### "Still In First Place After All of These Years"

May 8, 2026

5.0

Honestly, Microsoft Outlook has been the most consistent software system for a long time. I remember when the ability to "email" someone was introduced many years ago. Still to this day...it is possibly the most constant performing software program that you can have installed on your computer.

Pros

Having used other platforms, Microsoft Outlook outperforms every other e-mail catalogue system available out in the market. The ease of use is second to none, allowing you to keep all of you emails catalogued and stored in a easy to access format. Microsoft Outlook has been the Gold Standard in email platforms for many many years now.

Cons

Would like to have more overall storage space. My position requires me to receive a substantial amount of data transfer via email each day.

### "Solid email and calendar combo, a bit heavy"

April 10, 2026

4.0

I use Outlook every day at work and it’s central to how I get things done — email, calendar and meetings all tied together. It saves time scheduling and keeps my day organised, rules and folders do most of the heavy lifting. There are annoyances like slow startup, confusing menus and occasional mobile sync hiccups. When it works it really speeds up collaboration, especially with Teams links and OneDrive attachments. Support can be slow for tricky issues but usually company IT or online guides fix it. Overall it’s dependable and feature rich, just a bit heavy and sometimes fiddly

Pros

Email and calendar in one app is the biggest win for me at work, no switching between tools. Scheduling meetings and finding free times with coworkers is easy and saves loads of time. Search works well, I can find old emails fast even when I only remember bits of text. Integration with Teams and OneDrive makes joining meetings and sharing files simple. Rules and filters help keep my inbox from getting out of control, I use them every day. Desktop client is powerful and the web version is good enough when I’m on another machine.

Cons

Older outlook had more things we coud do then newer version so sometims I still switch between both versions The app can be slow to start on older laptops and sometimes uses a lot of memory. UI feels cluttered, too many buttons and menus, new users at work get lost easily. Mobile app misses some desktop features and the layout can be confusing at times. Spam filter sometimes moves legit mail to junk so I have to check it often. Add‑ins can break after updates and troubleshooting usually needs IT help. Some advanced settings are hidden and takes time to find when you need to change them.

### "Microsoft Outlook Review"

April 20, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Outlook has been good. It’s a solid tool for managing email and scheduling, especially for work. It has a lot of useful features, even though it can feel a bit overwhelming at first.

Pros

I like that Outlook keeps everything in one place like email, calendar, and contacts. It’s helpful for organizing work since you can easily schedule meetings and manage emails together. The search and filtering tools also make it easier to find messages.

Cons

The search filter to find certain emails doesn't seem to work unless you select the correct folder instead of doing the general inbox search.

### "Our school has a dependable means of communication."

June 11, 2026

4.0

Outlook, as a part of the Microsoft Office group, has served me well as a school administrator, in maintaining staff communication and scheduling organized. It does have its glitches here and there, but the fact that it makes it easier to collaborate between our educators and makes my everyday job easier outweighs the glitches. The total amount of features and performance provide added value for the price and is a good solution for our type of educational establishment.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook has been key to the daily running of our school. When dealing with teachers and parents that live in different time zones, email scheduling is a godsend. With Calendar integration we can manage to track all of the meetings, parent conferences and school events within one app. Spam filtering is really effective and critical to deal with the unwanted e-mails that would cause distraction. Being able to reply promptly even when I'm away from my desk is made possible with the mobile app.

Cons

Sometimes, Outlook may delay to open larger attachments and also while switching between multiple email accounts, interrupt the productivity in busy mornings. At times, emails are not even in sync with the devices, which can cause confusion. The customer support is responsive, but bug troubleshooting may take a while. Hopefully updates don't sometimes alter the layout, it does take some time to get used to new layouts.

### "One of the best email manager"

December 13, 2025

4.0

In general Microsoft Outlook is my favourite email manager. My experience is smooth and functional. I like it a lot.

Pros

I use Microsoft Outlook for some years, and for me it's still one of the best email manager software on the market. It's free and easy to use, and I can connect multiple accounts in the same place. The spam filter works pretty well and I didn't notice any bugs or issues to report. The customer support is efficient, as for any other Microsoft tool, and the interaction with other softwares, like browsers, for example, is smooth and fast. Outlook doesn't cost any money, and I find it a very good solution for personal and business mailing.

Cons

Sometimes it's a little slow when receiving emails. When I must receive a 2 factors authentications code, I must wait for some time to complete the operation.

### "Outlook Gets a Bad Rap But They Know How to Do Email"

March 8, 2026

4.0

Generally good. I like it better than Gmail and and think the email and calendar integration is better.

Pros

What I like most about Outlook is that it lets you sort messages by sender! This is huge because I can quickly go through messages by sender, collapse the ones I don't want to deal with and focus on the ones I do. No other email does this.

Cons

It feels a little bloated and the design is outdated. I wish they would give an option that isn't so busy and dense and makes the font bigger.

I believe my experience has always been rewarding. I have no complaints as I use Microsoft products including Outlook for many many years.

Pros

I collaborates with all Microsoft products. East to use. I like that I can organize my emails from categories to importance. Always had decent spam filtering. Definitely like all Microsoft products is is the best band for the dollar. I truly have never had any real bugs or issues. When I do I can get assistance pretty quickly with team support. I like that I can access my outlook email through my phone for business purposes if I am out of the office. I can still follow for important emails.

Cons

### "Simple and Reliable for Daily Use"

April 20, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook has been very good. I have been using it for several years, and it has been reliable for both personal and professional work. It helps me manage emails efficiently, and the calendar and reminder features are very useful for staying organized. There are occasional minor issues, but overall it works smoothly and gets the job done without any major problems.

Pros

I have been using Microsoft Outlook for more than 5 years, and it has been very easy to use. The speed of sending and receiving emails is really good, and I hardly face any delays. I like how everything is well organized, especially when handling a lot of emails daily. The search feature saves a lot of time when I need to find old emails quickly. The calendar and reminder features are also very useful for managing daily work. Overall, it has been a reliable tool for me, and I use it regularly for both personal and professional work.

Cons

Sometimes the app can feel a bit slow, especially when handling large attachments or too many emails. Also, at times it fails to open PDF files directly, so we need to download them first to view them.

### "Reliable Email Hub with Strong Productivity Tools"

5.0

Microsoft Outlook has been a dependable tool for managing emails, calendars, and tasks in one organised workspace. Its integration with other Microsoft apps streamlines daily communication, scheduling, and team coordination. While it can feel heavy on slower devices and large mailboxes sometimes sync slowly, the overall experience is smooth, secure, and efficient for both personal and business use.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is reliable for managing emails, calendars, and tasks all in one place. The interface is clean, security is strong, and integration with other Microsoft apps makes daily work smoother. Search is fast, and scheduling tools are very efficient for team coordination.

Cons

It can feel heavy on slower devices, and occasional sync delays happen with large mailboxes. Some advanced features are buried in menus, making them harder for new users to find.

### "Outlook Review"

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook is very favorable. I enjoy using this product and interact with it daily.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is its organization. I can easily find my email, calendars and tasks. The emails can easily be formatted with subfolders. Outlook is integrated with Microsoft's other products Excel, Word and Powerpoint. I keep all of my calendar events in the Outlook calendar. I especially like the feature to add events that cover many days (also called a series).

Cons

Pros

### "Outlook is AMAZING"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Wonderful! It is great value for your money, especially for a business. It makes our practice run smoother and it is nice to have everything all in one place (contacts, email, calendar, etc).

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is a great, user friendly, and universal program. It is my most used program. Microsoft does a great job at making updates, but not changing the functionality too much. It's simplistic design makes it very easy to use. There are a lot of great things you can do with email, calendar, and contacts. They do an excellent job at spam filtering. Even some legit emails I get 'Trust Sender' pop-up, which just makes me feel good and safe. Microsoft also has some of the best customer service I have come across. There are also so many forums (including the Microsoft Forum itself) so most of the time a quick google search can solve your issue. Microsoft is very customer focused.

Cons

The only thing I do not like is that there are so many amazing features that I don't think everyone knows about. I see tips and tricks on Tik Tok and most of them are regarding features I had no idea about. I think that Outlook could market these features a little better so customers have better knowledge of all the things they can do on Outlook. Other than that, there are really no big issues we have come across.

### "Pretty good but not perfect "

September 16, 2025

4.0

Overall good experience but I expect better from a behemoth like Microsoft. I do like the integration and the cost makes sense if you use other Microsoft tools.

Pros

I like the integration with other Microsoft apps but doesn’t work well with non Microsoft platforms. I also like the auto delete feature that deletes emails related to events that you have accepted or rejected- helps to keep the inbox clean. I also think outlook is a more prestigious and respected host in the corporate world, people take your company more seriously when you use Microsoft product in my experience.

Cons

Outlook doesn’t do well with non Microsoft platforms and hosts. It also has a few glitches with showing read vs unread emails and the number of unread emails icon on mobile doesn’t update in real time. I also think the spam filter is a little bit overactive and I’ve had issues with important emails being missed because they went to spam.
