### "Our Companies Preferred Work Email "

March 4, 2026

5.0

Outlook is our preferred email for the business. Historically we have used others but this has been a staple for at least 5 years. The calendar is essential and setting up signatures for different users and out of office messages save a lot of time.

Pros

We use this everyday and have personal work emails. The lead team regularly will invite each other to meetings or share what is going on and upcoming events using the calendar. Over time your emails recieve more and more spam but I have found outlook very good at putting this straight into junk before hitting my actual inbox. The desktop version of outlook ios brilliant to both look at and use and there is a large amount of areas that can be customised, so much so that using the default work email is a completely different experience to my own work email. We have never had any issues with bugs and have always been able to access our emails.

Cons

There is a lot of customisation, which is great to some degree, but at the same time I need to use three different email addresses per day. Two of these are shared with other members of staff. When these get customised by the team in a different way from my own I do really struggle to go from one to another. I am aware, however that this is most likely my issue., but it is an issue to me so worth noting. If I'm covering for a week off I ofrten change the settings back to that of my own

### "Reliable Email and Calendar Tool for Everyday Work"

April 25, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Outlook has been quite positive. It is a dependable tool that handles email, calendar, and basic task management in one place, which makes it very practical for daily use. It works especially well in a professional setting where coordination with others is important. Features like shared calendars and meeting scheduling make it easier to stay organized and keep track of work. The connection with other Microsoft tools also adds to the convenience. There are moments where it feels a bit slow or slightly complicated, especially when dealing with larger inboxes or trying to adjust certain settings. However, once you get used to it, it becomes easier to manage. In general, Outlook feels stable and reliable, and it continues to be a solid choice for both personal and work related communication.

Pros

What I liked most about Microsoft Outlook is how well it handles both email and scheduling in one place. It feels reliable for daily use, especially in a work environment where managing meetings and communication together is important. The interface is structured and easy to get used to, even though it has many features. Access across devices is smooth, and emails sync well between desktop and mobile, which makes it convenient to stay connected at all times. Spam filtering is quite effective, and it does a good job of keeping unwanted emails out of the main inbox. Team collaboration is also improved through shared calendars and integration with other Microsoft tools, which helps when working with colleagues. In terms of value for money, it fits well as part of the Microsoft ecosystem, especially for businesses already using Office tools. Customer support is generally reliable, and the platform itself is stable with very few major bugs or interruptions. Overall, Outlook feels dependable and well suited for both individual and professional use.

Cons

What I liked least about Microsoft Outlook is that it can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when the mailbox gets large or when running multiple accounts. It does not always feel as smooth as some newer email tools. The layout can also be a little confusing at times. There are many features, which is useful, but it can make simple things harder to find, especially in the beginning. It takes some time to get fully comfortable with where everything is. I also noticed occasional syncing delays between devices, and the search feature does not always pick up the right emails straight away. These are small issues, but they do come up from time to time.

### "Reliable Backbone for Daily Sales Operations"

April 14, 2026

4.0

Overall, it’s been a consistently reliable SaaS tool that forms part of the daily operating rhythm. As an SDR, I mainly use it for meeting reminders, Teams calls, SME notes, and linking activity back into CRM systems like HubSpot. It’s not a flashy platform, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s dependable, well-integrated, and keeps everything connected across devices and teams. That reliability is what makes it valuable in a high-volume sales environment. From a SaaS stack perspective, it delivers strong value—especially when you consider how tightly it works with the rest of the Microsoft ecosystem. It helps keep the day structured without adding extra complexity. Overall, it’s a steady, well-built tool that does its job quietly in the background, which is exactly what you want when you’re focused on hitting pipeline and meeting targets.

Pros

From a SaaS perspective, the biggest win is how well it just fits into the broader Microsoft ecosystem. It plays nicely with Teams and other tools, which makes meeting scheduling, reminders, and collaboration pretty seamless day to day. For an SDR juggling back-to-back calls and pipeline work, that integration is a real time saver. Ease of use is another strong point. Once you’re across it, it’s straightforward—book a meeting, send a note, set a reminder, move on. It doesn’t get in your way when you’re trying to move quickly. Access and connectivity are also solid. Whether you’re on desktop, mobile, or browser, it stays in sync and keeps things consistent. That’s important when you’re switching between calls, CRM updates, and meetings all day. On value for money, it stacks up well, particularly as part of the broader Microsoft 365 suite. You’re not just paying for email—you’re getting a full comms and productivity layer that integrates across the business. Spam filtering does a decent job overall. It keeps the inbox fairly clean without needing constant manual cleanup, which helps keep focus on actual pipeline work rather than noise.

Cons

It’s a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to ease of use at scale. While the basics are simple, the interface can feel a bit cluttered when you’re dealing with high email volume and multiple calendars. It’s functional, just not always the smoothest experience. On bugs and issues, it’s generally stable, but you do get the occasional sync lag or calendar glitch. Nothing major, but noticeable when you’re relying on it heavily throughout the day. Customer support is fairly passive—you don’t really engage with it unless something breaks, and when you do, it’s more self-service or documentation-based rather than hands-on support. Spam filtering, while good, isn’t bulletproof. A few things slip through, and occasionally something relevant gets caught in the wrong place, so you still need to keep an eye on it.

### "Microsoft Outlook Review"

April 20, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Outlook has been good. It’s a solid tool for managing email and scheduling, especially for work. It has a lot of useful features, even though it can feel a bit overwhelming at first.

Pros

I like that Outlook keeps everything in one place like email, calendar, and contacts. It’s helpful for organizing work since you can easily schedule meetings and manage emails together. The search and filtering tools also make it easier to find messages.

Cons

The search filter to find certain emails doesn't seem to work unless you select the correct folder instead of doing the general inbox search.

### "A Review on Microsoft Outlook"

April 13, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Outlook has been very positive and it is an essential tool in my role as an accountant. It provides me with a reliable and structured way to manage my high volume of client communications, which again, is crucial in a deadline-driven environment. Features such as folders, rules, and categories help to keep my inbox organised whilst my calendar function is valuable for planning workloads, prioritising tasks and ensuring my key deadlines are met. Outlook also provides a professional standard of communication, allowing me to maintain consistence through email signatures and structured correspondence with clients. The integrations with other Microsoft applications enhances efficiency in day-to-day work.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is a software I use daily in my role as an accountant, I find it an essential tool for staying organised. Its features have allowed me to manage a high volume of work efficiently, which is important given the strict deadlines I have to work to. The calendar funtion is especially valuable, allowing me to plan my days and weeks effectively, prioritise key tasks and ensure that all deadlines are met. In addition, Outlooks supports a professional approach to client communication - I consistently use a standardised email signature to maintain a clear and professional image in all correspondence. Overall, Outlook plays a key role in helping me stay structured, efficient, and responsive in a deadline-driven environment.

Cons

Sometimes, long email threads in Microsoft Office can become difficult to follow, particularly when there are multiple replies in a single chain. This can make conversations feel cluttered and less visually intuitive. It would be beneficial if Outlook offered improvements in how these threads are displayed, making them clearer and easier to navigate. Working in an accountancy practice, I also experience a high volume of client emails - especially during busy periods such as January - which can quickly lead to a crowded inbox. While features such as folders and colour coding are helpful the sheer amount of emails can still feel overwhelming at times.

### "Still In First Place After All of These Years"

May 8, 2026

5.0

Honestly, Microsoft Outlook has been the most consistent software system for a long time. I remember when the ability to "email" someone was introduced many years ago. Still to this day...it is possibly the most constant performing software program that you can have installed on your computer.

Pros

Having used other platforms, Microsoft Outlook outperforms every other e-mail catalogue system available out in the market. The ease of use is second to none, allowing you to keep all of you emails catalogued and stored in a easy to access format. Microsoft Outlook has been the Gold Standard in email platforms for many many years now.

Cons

Would like to have more overall storage space. My position requires me to receive a substantial amount of data transfer via email each day.

### "Simple, Reliable, and All-in-One"

January 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, Outlook is solid, easy to manage emails and calendars in one place, reliable, and works well with other Microsoft apps.

Pros

I really like how Outlook combines email, calendar, and tasks in one place. It’s easy to organize messages, find what I need with the search, and it works smoothly with other Microsoft apps like Teams and OneDrive

Cons

Outlook can feel a bit cluttered at times, and it slows down with really big inboxes. Some features aren’t very customizable, which can be frustrating.

### "One of the best email manager"

December 13, 2025

4.0

In general Microsoft Outlook is my favourite email manager. My experience is smooth and functional. I like it a lot.

Pros

I use Microsoft Outlook for some years, and for me it's still one of the best email manager software on the market. It's free and easy to use, and I can connect multiple accounts in the same place. The spam filter works pretty well and I didn't notice any bugs or issues to report. The customer support is efficient, as for any other Microsoft tool, and the interaction with other softwares, like browsers, for example, is smooth and fast. Outlook doesn't cost any money, and I find it a very good solution for personal and business mailing.

Cons

Sometimes it's a little slow when receiving emails. When I must receive a 2 factors authentications code, I must wait for some time to complete the operation.

Outlook is reliable and feature-rich for email and calendar, but can feel slow and complex, especially when managing many messages and settings.

Pros

Cons

Outlook can feel slow and cluttered, with complex settings and inconsistent search results, making it frustrating to manage many emails.

### "Ease of Use. Robust, Reliable, and Built for Professional Workflows"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, Outlook is a solid, dependable email and productivity platform that’s well-suited for professional and business use. While it has a learning curve and occasional performance issues, its reliability, integration, and organizational tools outweigh its drawbacks.

Pros

The unified inbox, powerful calendar features, and seamless integration with Microsoft 365 make managing communications and scheduling both efficient and dependable.

Cons

The interface can feel cluttered and less intuitive than some newer email platforms, and performance can lag when managing large mailboxes. Customization options exist but are not always easy to find or implement without additional setup.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Outlook

I chose Microsoft Outlook because of its deep integration with Microsoft 365, robust email, calendar, and task management in one platform, and its enterprise-grade security, archiving, and compliance features. Compared to the alternatives, Outlook offers stronger organizational controls, better support for complex workflows, and reliability at scale, which makes it better suited for professional and business use.

### "Outlook Gets a Bad Rap But They Know How to Do Email"

March 8, 2026

4.0

Generally good. I like it better than Gmail and and think the email and calendar integration is better.

Pros

What I like most about Outlook is that it lets you sort messages by sender! This is huge because I can quickly go through messages by sender, collapse the ones I don't want to deal with and focus on the ones I do. No other email does this.

Cons

It feels a little bloated and the design is outdated. I wish they would give an option that isn't so busy and dense and makes the font bigger.

### "Reliable and Packed with Features, But a Bit Clunky at Times"

July 29, 2025

4.0

Overall, I really like using Outlook, especially for work. It’s dependable, well-integrated with other Microsoft tools, and has everything I need to stay organized. It’s not the flashiest email app out there, but it gets the job done and does it well. Just a little more streamlining and it’d be an easy five stars, I wish I could give it 4.5.

Pros

and contacts—all in one place. It’s super convenient to have my schedule and inbox side by side, especially when I’m trying to juggle meetings and deadlines. The interface is familiar and pretty easy to navigate once you get used to it. Plus, the focused inbox feature is surprisingly good at keeping my clutter under control.

Cons

That said, Outlook isn’t perfect. The mobile app is okay, but not nearly as smooth or intuitive as the desktop version. And occasionally, some settings are buried deeper than they need to be—it’s not always the most user-friendly when you’re trying to customize things.

### "A dependable email platform for business use"

March 16, 2026

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Outlook has been very positive. It is a dependable email and calendar solution that works particularly well in professional environments. Once you get used to the layout and features, it becomes a powerful tool for managing emails, meetings, and daily tasks efficiently.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is a very reliable and professional email platform, particularly for business use. The integration with the wider Microsoft ecosystem such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and the calendar makes it extremely useful for managing communication and scheduling in one place. The email organisation tools, including folders, rules, and focused inbox, help keep large volumes of emails manageable.

Cons

The interface can sometimes feel a bit cluttered compared to simpler email platforms, and it can take time to learn all of the features. Occasionally the desktop application can be slow or lag when dealing with large mailboxes or many attachments.

Yo lo uso constantemente y sin salir del programa, accedo directamente a documentos, a cualquierdato relacionado de estos, conversaciones, tareas de planner o asuntos tratados en Teams.

Pros

### "Simple and Reliable for Daily Use"

April 20, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook has been very good. I have been using it for several years, and it has been reliable for both personal and professional work. It helps me manage emails efficiently, and the calendar and reminder features are very useful for staying organized. There are occasional minor issues, but overall it works smoothly and gets the job done without any major problems.

Pros

I have been using Microsoft Outlook for more than 5 years, and it has been very easy to use. The speed of sending and receiving emails is really good, and I hardly face any delays. I like how everything is well organized, especially when handling a lot of emails daily. The search feature saves a lot of time when I need to find old emails quickly. The calendar and reminder features are also very useful for managing daily work. Overall, it has been a reliable tool for me, and I use it regularly for both personal and professional work.

Cons

Sometimes the app can feel a bit slow, especially when handling large attachments or too many emails. Also, at times it fails to open PDF files directly, so we need to download them first to view them.

### "The Best Mailing System!"

March 3, 2026

5.0

Microsoft Outlook has been very important to me, as I have always used Microsoft Outlook as a way of receiving emails both personally and in the workplace. It's user friendly interface and security enforce that this is the primary emailing system I will always use. It is a great system I wholeheartedly recommend!

Pros

The thing I like the most about Microsoft Outlook is that it is great value for money and a very secure mailing system that is widely accessible to all people. The system being secure is a great benefit as it identifies spam effectively and potentially malicious emails which is great for keeping you safe. Microsoft Outlook is also a great way to effectively collaborate with a team, whether that's communicating via email, or arranging meetings with each other to discuss things further.

Cons

The thing I like the least about Microsoft Outlook is that sometimes performance can be slow if you have a large inboxes, and there are frequent synchronisation problems meaning that it may take some time for your emails to fully get up to date.

### "Works great, but doesn't support SharePoint"

April 24, 2026

I've been using it for work for about 20 years now. I've seen it evolve from a simple SMTP/POP to the client it is today.

Pros

The ability to organize my emails in a manner that works for me. The software is flexible enough that I can configure it to my liking.

Cons

It no longer works with our shared SharePoint calendars. This is a real frustration for us as the old version worked perfectly fine for everyone. The "new" Outlook does not support SharePoint. :-(

Pros

I love the ease of use of outlook! This is my companies main email system that we all use and I love it. We use the calendar function to stay on top of projects and that is seamless.

Cons

### "Solid comms and scheduling platform."

August 29, 2025

4.0

Overall, Outlook is here to stay. It's reliable, easy to work in, and gets the job done. I've used it throughout my entire professional career and don't foresee stopping any time soon. The capabilities and integrations make it genuinely powerful; though a little more admin depth would make it a complete hub.

Pros

Outlook is where I handle most of my daily tasks. I can write emails, add quick notes, and manage my calendar. The clean layout and adjustable density make it easy to fit on multiple screens. The Teams integration is also clutch and allows me to jump straight into a meeting from the email invite or notification. Search is solid, and having folders streamlines filing and retrieval. Also, I can set custom rules for filtering, send instructions, and OOO notices.

Cons

I'd say, where it falls short is not being a true one-stop shop for admin-related tasks. Though is it true that the majority of routine tasks can be accomplished through the platform, there are still a few that require pivoting to other tools. A few integrations, leaning more on the HR-side of tasks, would push Outlook into the S-tier for sure.

### "Reliable Email Hub with Strong Productivity Tools"

April 1, 2026

5.0

Microsoft Outlook has been a dependable tool for managing emails, calendars, and tasks in one organised workspace. Its integration with other Microsoft apps streamlines daily communication, scheduling, and team coordination. While it can feel heavy on slower devices and large mailboxes sometimes sync slowly, the overall experience is smooth, secure, and efficient for both personal and business use.

Pros

Microsoft Outlook is reliable for managing emails, calendars, and tasks all in one place. The interface is clean, security is strong, and integration with other Microsoft apps makes daily work smoother. Search is fast, and scheduling tools are very efficient for team coordination.

Cons

It can feel heavy on slower devices, and occasional sync delays happen with large mailboxes. Some advanced features are buried in menus, making them harder for new users to find.

### "Very good email/calendar client for businesses that use M365"

April 30, 2026

5.0

If you're in the M365 suite of apps, Outlook is a great email and calendar client. The web app works better but the new outlook desktop app is very comparable in reliablity. There are still sync issues sometimes and when its bad, a full reinstall of the desktop app is required.

Pros

It's generally a very good and reliable known email client. Supports M365/Exchange the best but you can use it for other email service providers as well (Gmail or others). Available as a web application or desktop app for Windows and macOS. Great for email and calendar services. Integrates natively with everything else under the M365 suite.

Cons

It's gotten more confusing now with three different versions of Outlook (web, classic outlook, and new outlook). The web application appears to work the best and is the most reliable but a lot of users still prefer the desktop app and even worst some users won't move off of classic outlook. Outlook desktop is also know to have crashing/sync issues.
