Pros It's very reliable, I've used Hotmail that changed to outlook now for a total of 25 years, and I've only had about 2 occasions that I can remember where they were in maintenance. I have worked in tech support and it's the most reliable email that I know next to Gmail., and they just keep making it better with the addition of tools that they have added. Cons Well just that when they switched to a different name I was a bit confused, I was already used to the old name, but other than that it's all good. Pros The best part about Microsoft Outlook is that it is user-friendly. One click and everything is sorted from sending emails to scheduling events/meetings. Sending multiple invites/emails, updating the common work calendar for the team, and dropping notifications/reminders on time so that no one misses out, has become so much easier with Outlook. Wholesome and cohesive communication is a must in a team of around 40 or more, and Outlook is just the app one needs in such cases. Cons The only downfall I faced was that the app does not compromise on bandwidth. You need a really strong and smooth flow of the internet, otherwise working on Microsoft Outlook was become really tricky. Other than this, the app is the best to work with! Its ubiquity made the user integration experience from our team seamless, and there was almost no learning curve. Cons The only recurring issue i've noticed is difficulty in email searching, particularly for specific attachments. I like to schedule reminder for me to follow-up with clients or to complete tasks. Cons The one thing that I don't like about Outlook is that app version for my mobile device combines the email treads together rather than allowing them to show up as individual emails as the desktop app version does. I looked at Google originally but this has been worth every dollar spent since I started. Pros Microsoft Outlook for Mac no longer feels like the poor cousin - its a full-featured, stable and secure email management platform and as part of the Office365 suite its perfect in my small business scenario. I have very few issues with it, and I know I can rely on it to keep my business communications well-organised and consistent. Cons The HTML formatting for Mac is still a fraction hit and its, but it does emails and email management well. The experience could be more even all around, but until a competitor can actually make a dent in Microsoft's market share (doubtful), Outlook will help keep us in business with its cycle of working great and breaking out of nowhere. Pros When Outlook is working smoothly, it is the best email client available - not that much real competition exists. From contact management to real time monitoring, filtering, calendar management, and more, it tries to give users a LOT of functionality all at once. And it usually delivers. Cons There is no reason to continually add unrequested features to Outlook, to constantly change the layout, position of the search bar, etc. Expect some down time here and there when Microsoft breaks their own product and puts out an advisory. It is far from perfect, and Microsoft could really benefit from simply working on making the core experience function more smoothly. Example: instead of throwing an error about the OST / information store and closing on a users' computer, maybe provide some guidance or attempt a self-fix. Overall positive experience except when it reaches max storage. Storage could be bigger considering how many emails I send a day. Pros I love the search feAture of this software. I get about 60-80 emails a day so it is easy for important emails to get buried. Search function helps me find these emails and all conversations related to it. I pretty much use the search feature over 10x a day. Sometimes it does not work as it is specific to what you enter but most of the time I am able to find what I need. outlook would be useless without search. Cons i don’t like how the toolbar minimizes when you don’t use full screen for outlook. I often use the tool bar but sometimes I need to split my screen and when I do that I lose half the toolbar. I would also prefer larger memory space.
