### "Very good email/calendar client for businesses that use M365"

April 30, 2026

5.0

If you're in the M365 suite of apps, Outlook is a great email and calendar client. The web app works better but the new outlook desktop app is very comparable in reliablity. There are still sync issues sometimes and when its bad, a full reinstall of the desktop app is required.

Pros

It's generally a very good and reliable known email client. Supports M365/Exchange the best but you can use it for other email service providers as well (Gmail or others). Available as a web application or desktop app for Windows and macOS. Great for email and calendar services. Integrates natively with everything else under the M365 suite.

Cons

It's gotten more confusing now with three different versions of Outlook (web, classic outlook, and new outlook). The web application appears to work the best and is the most reliable but a lot of users still prefer the desktop app and even worst some users won't move off of classic outlook. Outlook desktop is also know to have crashing/sync issues.

### "Outlook Review"

May 18, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook is very favorable. I enjoy using this product and interact with it daily.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is its organization. I can easily find my email, calendars and tasks. The emails can easily be formatted with subfolders. Outlook is integrated with Microsoft's other products Excel, Word and Powerpoint. I keep all of my calendar events in the Outlook calendar. I especially like the feature to add events that cover many days (also called a series).

Cons

I use this product every day. There is nothing about this product that I dislike or like the least. It is a very good product that satisfies my communication needs.

### "Outlook - The planning tool for everyone"

March 6, 2026

Overall I have had a positive experience with outlook using it everyday for multiple years using the system to plan my weeks.

Pros

Microsoft outlook is a very effective tool, the calendar feature is brilliant to keep track of meetings and planning.

Cons

My least favourite part of outlook is the constant changes to the interface and design of the system.

### "Outlook Is the Best "

100% love this application, the calendar function is my favorite part of the application. I use it to schedule all trainings and personal appointments.

Pros

Microsoft outlook is a visually appealing and ease of use application that I use every day for work related emails.

Cons

I don't have any complaints regarding Outlook, I enjoy all of its features. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to receive an email this I know has been sent.

### "Microsoft outlook review "

May 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Outlook has been very positive. It is a reliable and powerful tool for managing email, calendars, and tasks in one centralized platform. The organization features, search tools, and cross-device syncing make it easy to stay productive and keep track of important communications and schedules. While it can feel a bit complex at times, Outlook remains a strong and efficient solution for both personal and professional use.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is how well it organizes email, calendar, and tasks all in one place. It makes it easy to stay on top of communication and schedule management without switching between different apps. I also appreciate the powerful search function, customizable folders, and integrated calendar features that help keep everything structured and easy to find. The ability to sync across devices ensures I can stay productive whether I’m at my desk or on the go.

Cons

What I like least about Microsoft Outlook is that it can sometimes feel cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users or those with a high volume of emails. The interface has a lot of features, which can make it less intuitive at first. I also find that performance can slow down when managing large inboxes, and certain settings or customizations can be difficult to locate or adjust.

### "A Personal Experience"

October 13, 2025

5.0

Overall, I really enjoy my experience with Microsoft Outlook. I've been able to take my skills and communication to the next level in my place of work.

Pros

I really like how you can get in touch with just about everybody. There's a clear list of company contacts, which makes it very easy to tag people in your emails. There are also a lot of personalization options to make each email its own. Not to mention how easy it is to send emails and get them ready to go. It also notifies you when a message may be spam, so you can go ahead and investigate before interacting, which makes your experience better.

Cons

I will say I wish there was a way for an individual email message your sending to let you know you reached the maximum size allowed to be sent. For example, if there are too many images, I wish it would notify me so I can adjust appropriately, versus sending it out and there being an error.

### "The Most Reliable Email App"

December 22, 2025

4.0

It's a necessary tool that my job can't function without. I am thankful we have this and I prefer it over other softwares that do similar things. It's the go to email application.

Pros

I love how organized you can be on it. The integration between apps as well as being able to see other calendars and such is massive. This isn't just my email, it's my calendar as well.

Cons

How often the platform has changed over the years. I feel like every update I am learning a new app which is frustrating at times. During updates, it's easy to lose track of where you were.

### "Solid Pillar of Microsoft Suite: A Foundation Tool"

July 14, 2025

4.0

It is my daily workspace and productivity tool for emails, online meetings, and some of our tasks. Overall, I enjoy the reliability and connectedness of the tool. We are fully integrated on all Microsoft Suite, which makes Outlook hum all that much better. Aside from a few bugs and a few quality of life changes, I am pleased with it. I wish there was some more customization options, though! Pretty limited in that regard!

Pros

I enjoy the look and feel of the service. I applaud the flagging, search feature, and scheduled send tools. The integrated calendar, co-pilot, and task integrations are all very helpful. I also really enjoy the health and availability hints through Viva Insights. I know our security team praises the integration with our firewall and auto-scrubber /phishing reporting system. I am a big fan of using tags and folders on Outlook as well. Dragging and dropping attachments is a breeze and auto-suggestions and "liking" makes quick replies very easy to do. I am a big fan of the Scheduling Assistant - makes large team meetings easy to organize and schedule. A lot to rave about!

Cons

I have had an awful time using "Rules." Any mass changes to my inbox takes 15 minutes or more and has readily caused the app to crash. I have found that my rules do not often work and it has been hard to get my organized folders to sync properly. Tagging is somewhat reliable but I often find things incorrectly labeled or missing. Using the HTML version has been trouble. Any time I want to send an email via Chrome or a similar browser version, the email never sends and it launches in a separate window. As a recruiter, this completely spoils the speed of sending a quick note to a candidate. I have started just copying and pasting instead of responding directly. I wish there was a fix for these!

### "Microsoft Outlook is an all in one email access point "

July 12, 2025

5.0

I love it and my hope is that it continues to be a mainstay for business and personal use. Being in healthcare the encrypted option for emails is a must. Also, the ability to send literally any type of attachment is great.

Pros

It is user friendly, has all of the features I could dream up that would be helpful and it allows me to check business and personal email all in one spot.

Cons

Every once and awhile a "user friendly" update has me a bit confused when new features get moved around.

### "Reliable, Familiar, and Built for Work"

May 1, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Outlook has been solid. It’s a reliable tool for managing work emails and calendars, and once you get used to the layout, it’s pretty efficient. It’s not the most modern-looking app, and it can be a bit clunky at times, but it gets the job done—especially if you’re in a Microsoft-focused environment.

Pros

I really like how everything is in one place—email, calendar, contacts, and tasks. It makes it easy to stay organized without bouncing between different apps. The Focused Inbox is also a nice touch; it helps cut through the noise and keeps important emails front and center.

Cons

It can feel a bit heavy and slow at times, especially when starting up. And some of the settings are buried or overly complex—like managing rules or customizing the layout. It takes a bit of digging to get things the way you want.

### "Don't Knock it Until You've Tried It."

July 7, 2025

5.0

Let's face it, if you work in corporate America, Outlook is your go-to. We use Outlook for everything....EVERYTHING. That calendar is life. It does what you need it to, though. It's the business lifeblood and it does it well, or as well as any other email system. People love to knock it, but I generally have found it's the best in organizing my correspondence and calendars.

Pros

Look, I realize I may not be in the majority, but I really truly like MS Outlook. The app is streamlined and includes all the functions I need on the go. Additionally, Outlook has an easy to use, simple, no frills look that allows me, as a business user, to simply get work done. Email should have the necessary features to schedule meetings, send emails and store emails. Outlook has them and does them well.

Cons

There are times when the features in Outlook feel lacking in depth. Additionally, sometimes it feels like Outlook tries to be "too helpful" without providing any substance (such as Viva Insights, and Copilot).

### "Top 5 Software of all time"

July 7, 2025

5.0

Outlook is awesome. I've been using it for over 20 years both personally and professionally. Email is, of course, the biggest function. When I'm unable to get to an email but want to read it, I love that I can quickly mark it as unread so that I can easily find it later. Similarly, the way you can assign flags and follow up with emails is great. The calendar is my most important function. I litter each day with reminders and appointments and it keeps me on task so that these don't fall through my cracks. I enjoy that I can set reminders for minutes from the appointment, or up to 2 weeks. I use both liberally and wish that I could set multiple reminders. Wait, can I? I've never investigated this. Outlook is also a great place to keep a to-do or task list. If I were picking 5 pieces of software most important to me, this would definitely be on the list.

Pros

Outlook is a clean and functional piece of software. It does exactly what it's supposed to in an easy to use form. I rely heavily on the calendar for all of my appointments. Similarly, i use tasks to create a to-do list and cross items off. In the past, I've assigned tasks to teammates which is a nice function as well. I'll bet I use about 60% of the functionality of this software which means there are additional items to learn and grow. But I use this software every day to stay organized.

Cons

It's always jarring when the look of a piece of software that you use every day changes. This software seems to change and update often when really it doesn't need to. It works well. And when it's been sized perfectly with all the gadgets and gizmos you want displaying, an update can be really disruptive for quite some time.

### "Decent but not great"

July 3, 2025

My experience with Microsoft Outlook is mixed. It’s reliable for managing emails, calendars, and contacts, with strong integration into Microsoft 365. The search functionality and organizational tools like folders and rules are helpful for staying on top of busy inboxes

Pros

It's wealth of features and integration with many other popular applications such as Microsoft Teams.

Cons

Cluttered interface, slow performance, unreliable notifications, and missing features like offline message saving or advanced rule customization

### "All You Could Need From A Work Email Account"

Accessing emails have never been easier. The integration of other Microsoft products through the Outlook desktop website is also fantastic.

Cons

### "Outlook- Hält was es verspricht"

September 21, 2025

5.0

### "Microsoft Outlook review "

June 27, 2025

4.0

Overall I like outlook and since using there seems to be fairly regular upgrade in functions or visuals. its easy to use and tidy.

Pros

Microsoft outlook is easy to use. It has option to have multiple inbox down the side of the main page, this is useful because you do not have to keep logging in and out of accounts to see emails coming in. I like the tick function to mark when the email has been attended to and that it keeps your archived emails and if you search for it it still comes up without having to search in all separate folders.

Cons

I have different company Outlooks, it would be good if i could have all on one account. I would like to be able to arrnage certain emails directly into sub folders. for example we receive weather and flood warnings almost on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day, however I can not direct these emails straight to a 'weather and flooding' folder for example so it does not fill out my inbox.

### "Accountant's Opinion on Microsoft Outlook"

June 10, 2025

5.0

Overall, I like how easy and versatile the program is to use and all the features it comes with. I wonder if there will ever be more features or updates to the system, which I'm excited to learn about!

Pros

Something I like the most about Outlook is the variability of the program and all the things you can do with it, like using Scheduling Assistant to make sure everyone has a meeting time open, the endless subfolders you can create to organize your emails, setting up multiple emails and being able to access them all from your dashboard, using the calendar function on the same app, etc.

Cons

I've had Outlook a few different times with a few companies, and I wish there were more similarities between each program. For example, I can't scroll seamlessly on this calendar, like I could at my other jobs. There are only minor things though, overall, the system is great!
