The only reason we have yet to change our provider is the time off-line we would need to make the shift. While, there is value in the cost of the product - it has very little real value. Pros Outlook is functionally easy to navigate simple tasks, and it integrates well with the majority of the Microsoft Suite. Collaboration is nice and easy within a team. Cons It is clunky compared to other providers. It does not integrate externally well. Worst of all, customer service is a 0/10. A paid email provider should not have so many hoops to jump to navigate major business issues. Emails have a lot of formatting options and personalization routes. I have found that most generations of employees are fluent in it. Cons The calendar does not always integrate with other programs. I need to manually add meetings with Zoom links, Teams invites, etc, and this takes time. Google Calendar is more fluid when it comes to adding to the calendar. I like that users get total flexibility in setting up how the home panel looks and organizing email folders. Pros Outlook has the best email tool that far surpasses any other platform, including Gmail. Perfect mix of functionality, user-friendly, and accessible. Cons Absolutely hate New Outlook. I firmly believe in "if it's not broke don't fix it" and it could not be more true for the updated version. Advanced features that were previously accessible are now buried or removed from the ribbon completely. For example, I found myself spending over 10 minutes trying to google where Global Contacts went in New Outlook. The classic version is the superior product. Its email system is great, especially with the ability to categorize emails and stay organized. The group boxes feature is also fantastic, and I haven’t seen this feature in other email platforms. Pros What I love most about Microsoft Outlook is its calendar and scheduling features. It often sends reminders for my coaching sessions with my manager, and since most of my meetings are on Teams, I love how well it syncs with Microsoft Teams. My manager can easily find the best meeting time based on my availability and other agents' schedules. I use Outlook for all my work emails, and I feel very comfortable doing so. It organizes important emails well, and the offline feature is a game-changer. All the features work seamlessly without needing an internet connection, so I can still work offline without any hassle if the internet goes out. It also integrates perfectly with other Microsoft apps like Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and more. Cons The Microsoft Outlook mobile app could use some improvement. For example, customizing folders and creating new ones is much easier on the desktop, and certain actions, like filtering emails, can only be done on the desktop. When I first started using Outlook, everything felt a bit weird, but after getting the hang of it, I now flow seamlessly with it. You’ll benefit from a clear interface and manage email, and documents. Pros Microsoft Outlook isn’t just an alternative to Gmail but also a part of Microsoft's ecosystem to manage business. It doesn’t require a Hotmail or Outlook address to create an account, and it works for other ecosystem apps. Cons It's not very easy to use the free version because there are many trash ads that are very annoying to me. Pros Microsoft outlook has been around for a while and everytime, it does not cease to improve my work in terms of operability, connectivity, collaboration, and efficiency in all. With its secure emailing platform, it is always easy for me to communicate and share important updates at work place with colleagues and the higher management team. Microsoft Outlook calendar feature also help me to schedule for meetings with ease. Pros Microsoft Outlook has very tight security features which keeps my email box protected from phishing and other email attacks. It has an intuitive interface for composing new and replying to emails making my communication experience very smooth. The calendar feature makes it easy to schedule for meetings and to refer to my scheduled activities before scheduling for new ones. Microsoft Outlook has a schedule send feature that help schedule for a later time when my email will be sent. Cons I do not have any negative feedback to write about Microsoft Outlook. Pros On the whole, i find Microsoft Outlook easy to use - the old interface was quite straightforward and whilst i'm not 100% used to the new dashboard - i think this will also become easy to use within time. Scheduling teams meetings and using the calendar function is very easy Cons I've recently updated to use the latest Microsoft Outlook and there have been some teething problems. Errors include showing I have unread emails (when I don't in the old version) and even when I delete these, they still appear as unread. Pros The layout of the Outlook mail app and website is great, it is highly customizable, in terms of the theme as well as any signatures that you might want to add. The categories are also laid out well, it is easy to access the junk mail as well as sending mail to the junk. The sorting for focused mail and other mail is a really nice feature, and the algorthm does the sorthing well, this is a great differentiating feature that makes outlook by far the most organized mail app. Cons It does not do a great job dealing with multiple accounts, other mail apps do a much better job to view inboxes of multiple accounts at the same time. There is no option to do the same in outlook, and you will have to go into each account separately to view the respective inboxes, which takes a lot of time, a feature such as this would be a great time saver.
