It is reliable, organized, and easily integrates with existing MS products like Excel and Word. Pros I like the UI for Outlook and the ability to organize my inbox with subcategories. I also like the scheduling assistant and calendar. Cons Sometimes I have issues with sending Excel files through Outlook. It's ability to integrate into other software, to create rules, away messages, and the personalization features are unmatched. Pros My favorite feature of Microsoft Outlook is it's ability to integrate seamlessly into the software my law firm uses which makes my job infinitely more manageable. Cons My only gripe is that if I am deleting an email from my inbox at the same time a new message appears, often times the new email gets deleted instead of the email I was initially trying to delete. It is an easy program to use and delivers what I expect it to. Pros What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is the ease of use. Deployment is quick and easy. Filtering is fairly good. The calendar works a treat, and when you use Apple Products, it makes it super easy. Pros The software is easy to use, friendly, and customizable to your liking, making it fully compatible with your phone is an added bonus. February 6, 2025 4.0 Outlook has great integrations and I am pleased overall with it's performance, with the exception of the organization and spam filtering. Pros I love the simplicity that Outlook has, it makes it very easy to explain how to use it to the other staff. I also like how you can add optional features to it without additional cost. Cons Email organization seems to be an issue. There are two main categories in the main email inbox, "focused" and "other". Outlook seems to have issues with knowing which one to send emails to. I have had some very important emails be sent to "other" and some irrelevant emails sent to "focused". Along with this, the "junk email" folder is not very accurate at all. I have seen numerous spam emails be sent to me or the other staff but they're put in the "focused" folder. Meanwhile, I have some of my subscription receipts sent to the "junk" folder. June 23, 2025 4.0 Outlook has taken the right steps to becoming more streamlined and user friendly. I am still not a fan of using the App, but the web version is great. I have a tab open at all times with my Mailbox, Calendar, and To-Dos. Pros Outlook is universally used by most companies, and integrates well with systems like Teams, Trello, and Harvest. I am able to see the general schedules of my team members. I can email them back and forth very easily. It's a great program to collaborate with others. Pros I love how organized everything is on this product. I use it everyday at work to monitor my emails, check my calendar for events in each weekday, communicate with my team members, etc. I find it very convenient that both the email and calendar are in the same program. It's my preferred way to engage with emails professionally, and it offers a variety of tools and options to make it the best in the business. Cons For me personally, I like the design and layout of legacy outlook as opposed to the new version but they're both still great. Gut gefällt mir, dass der Funktionsumfang auf den verschiedenen Geräten mittlerweile weitgehend deckungsgleich ist. Pros Outlook lässt sich einfach bedienen und hat eine aufgeräumte, ansprechende Oberfläche. Die App funktioniert zuverlässig und bietet einen recht hohen Funktionsumfang. Gut gefällt mir zum Beispiel, dass Outlook E-Mails automatisch nach Relevanz sortieren kann (ähnlich, wie es Gmail mit dem sortierten Posteingang anbietet). Die Funktion, E-Mails zeitversetzt zu versenden, verwende ich ebenfalls gerne. Cons Ich finde es schade, dass es nach wie vor nicht möglich ist, einen iCloud-Kalender unkompliziert in Outlook zu integrieren. Hier sollte Microsoft unbedingt nachbessern. Außerdem finde ich es schade, dass die E-Mail-Signatur nicht geräteübergreifend synchronisiert wird – Änderungen an der Signatur müssen umständlich einzeln auf allen Geräten vorgenommen werden. Pros The Microsoft Outlook app is far superior to similar email apps, like GMail. The integration with the calendar and ToDo app make completing all needed business tasks that much easier. Cons The main thing I don't love about Outlook is that the rules take time to set up, and the main screen view can get overwhelmed when you add too many additional features. Sending, receiving and documenting emails within a company is one of the many uses of outlook. You can also use it to schedule appointments and direct the course of your day. I like the app so much. Cons Microsoft outlook can have more themes in the app version. Themes are only available in the browser version but I wish it can be made available on the app version as well. Having your contact book, calendar, meetings, notes, etc. in one place is great and definitely helps boost productivity. Pros One thing we love most about Microsoft Outlook is the great calendar & scheduling. It's seamless when scheduling meetings within the dept and the color-coded calendar makes for easy understanding with everyone's busy schedules. Cons The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the rule setting. I get a ton of emails on a daily basis and set rules so emails from specific vendors go to their own folder and don't get lost in my inbox but I've noticed it can be a bit faulty. Cons It is very chunky and hard to understand at first. It is difficult to categorise information, because you don't see any labels, it just makes folders. It doesn't automatically translate messages so that is difficult in international business exchanges.
