Microsoft 365 also provides great flexibility to work remotely. Pros You can easily collaborate on Teams and SharePoint. Microsoft 365 can also be easily integrated with other Microsoft products and services. Cons It is expensive especially with a subscription cost model and when compared to other products. It worked well and utilized the cloud wonderfully, but it stagnated over time. Outside of excel, it seemed as though other programs offered better solutions. Pros We initially chose this as it was a cloud-based solution and it was the standard. We liked the compatibility with legacy files, the affordability, the storage, and the ease of working with the system. In Powerpoint, some heavier-duty features as far as animating and layering goes are restricted, but in general this is a really good, optimized cloud service. I dislike the fact that it has morphed into a yearly subscription when ther are no significant improvements each year. Pros Quality of the product is excellent. Can be a little confusing to use due to it's complexity and abundance of apps. Cons The yearly cost is excessive based on normal usage for a small business. Pricing should be based on it's usage . Pros You can access Microsoft almost from anywhere and you you can use it from your desktop site, mobile etc. Cons I didn't like the constant upgrades because it could create problems with the features and the recurring costs is expensive . Cons I don’t love that it isn’t super compatible with other systems if you need to transfer from one to another. I love the 355 platform. It has come so far in the past few years to develop collaboration and integration with all the systems under 1 platform through web-based. Pros I love the ease of 365. It is collaborative and very easy to use. Cons Limitations I encountered was that, while using the Excel Online during multi user edit where in 2 or more users are working simultaneously on a complex sheet, the formula is not instantly refreshed. I am still getting the hang of it, and at times it does not seem as streamline as google docs. Maybe if there was a simpler icon to open up the other apps that would be beneficial. Pros The ease of use and the value for the money. It provides a lot of excellent apps. For example, my husband taught me how to use one that I can use as a notebook. Cons For some reason I cannot bookmark my drive so that I just open up my files. As mentioned later on, also a little slow to go in between the applications. Mostly because it is always up to date and I'm able to share documents with coworkers or clients easily. Pros I love all the apps in 365, especially Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams! I love how quick you can access them from the homepage for 365. Cons I do work with employees that don't get the app versions of features from 365. I wish some functions were the same. I.e. On OneNote App you can do 10+10= and then it will give you the answer. Cons Sometimes the edge cases in Copilot-written summaries in Word are unclear, and it is necessary to manually rearrange or rewrite some parts to make more sense.
