Pros Microsoft 365 is a core part of my daily workflow in marketing. I use it to write and edit marketing copy, organize campaign materials, build presentations, and collaborate with other departments. The integration between Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive makes it easy to move between tasks without losing files or version history. Real-time collaboration and commenting are especially helpful when getting feedback or approvals. Cons There are a lot of tools included, so it can feel like more than you need at first. If you’re after free, in my experience, you’re better off with going with another product Pros Paid version of M365: M365 is a powerhouse when it comes to utilising the key products they offer in Word and Excel for example, especially when combined with copilot. Outlook handles emails perfectly and the ability to share files with the click of a few buttons gives ease of use and makes M365 a tier 1 product. Cons The free version: M365’s free version is an absolute nightmare. Being restricted beyond anything productive, forced ads, aggressive reminders to upgrade to paid package. Once paid you’re essentially locked in. The subscription model for M365 is flawed. If you’re using free.. Pros Being able to run a company through one system that all employees have access to. This allows us to store and share documents, have a company schedule and shared calendars, communicate with each other and have business emails. Absolutely love Teams and all its features, and the annual price is low compared to competitors, especially with all it includes. Cons Can get a bit confusing for older users, especially with constant updates. Especially updates to outlook that change the look and usage of our emails and calendars. Pros 355 licensing is generally good value for money and for basic email usage, it is easy for end users to operate while not being overly complicated for administrators. Defender suite has massively improved for email security and spam filtering. SharePoint also offers a good alternative to document storage and management while allowing easier/safer file sharing and collaboration with external parties. Cons For larger busineses, subscription costs can get quite expensive and not many options for alternatives means businesses are often stuck with using O365 and prone to many poor decisions, such as changing working products i.e. Outlook or Teams for inferior newer versions with sometimes no option to avoid. It’s reliable for daily work and team collaboration, though some tools overlap and can be confusing at times. Pros I like Microsoft 365 to operate the daily all in one productivity suite in the workplace. It covers email, documentation, data analysis, meetings, and file storage in one ecosystem. Not only that it provides excellent for communication and collaboration ideal for remote work, vendor communication and inspection follow ups. Files are auto-sync with One Drive. It provides strong security and access control to keep documents in safe place through controlling user access, file permissions, and device logins. Cons As a paid subscription service, Microsoft 365 can become costly as user numbers grow or when advanced security and storage upgrades are required. Pros Great for managing all my files and lets me access them from any device, anywhere. It's free and super easy to use, which it wonderful. Cons There used to be a glitch that would cause the file to close and the app to randomly crash on my ipad, but fortunately it was fixed a few months back, so now everything is great! " October 3, 2025 2.0 Mixed, while we use the office suite with frequency it also seems each year they make things worse especially with regards to the user interface, it gets more complicated and obfuscated annually. They're not making anything better, just more complex and annoying. Pros All of the office suite in a semi convenient package, it's very handy to have the office apps available anywhere with an active internet connection. Cons Management is cumbersome and overly complicated, too much management is required, requires near constant attention from admin. Tiered subscriptions are annoying, as are the egregious prices that correspond to the tiers. Ads in Outlook are reprehensible. Sharing files between users in the same org and outside of the org is super easy too. Cons Getting support as a direct customer is frustrating, time consuming, and hard. There's no really easy way to interact with support in a timely manner. There's even the option to back everything up through their cloud-based OneDrive service and with everything together, the value of the services for the affordable price is irresistible! Not to mention the tons of other Microsoft based apps you get within this service - (ex. Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc) - it's a hard deal to pass up! Cons There are so many great features with Microsoft 365, it's hard to find something you won't like! If I could choose something that would make Microsoft 365 just that much more convenient, I would have to say I'd like more functionality between Microsoft 365 products and its features on desktop vs mobile. Not every feature is always going to be available on mobile, but the option for customizing is very minimal on mobile devices, such as the option to manage and create your categories with Outlook on mobile, instead of only being able to add emails to existing categories you have set up. With many people in this day and time always being on the go, having the most flexibility and functionality between desktop and mobile is one of the most convenient things for everyone, as we aren't always able to run into the office and jump on our PC's, so being able to complete tasks on the go is always something to add that extra peace of mind! I have always used other Microsoft Office products, but this tied everything together. I really do enjoy it. Pros I like how Microsoft 360 keeps everything together. It keeps me organized and helps me find the apps I need quick. It also allows us to share files and get to files easy. I can reach my email and make sure its attached to certain things as well. We can get to documents using shortcuts. Its a very nice feature. Cons Sometimes it glitches and doesn't show me my most recent opened document in certain apps.
