### "All in One"

April 26, 2022

5.0

It has been a rollercoaster. I have learned a lot, but frustrated, and it is an experience I won't soon forget. Advice to those with questions: Google it. Use whatever resource you have available because you will have lots of questions.

Pros

When I started at my company, I was a G-Suite user through and through. I had experience with Microsoft products, but they were far from my preference. As I have worked with them and helped set up some of the ways we implement them through our SharePoint intranet, I have grown much more fond. There is a definite learning curve, but once you understand one part, the rest clicks together. As a SharePoint Admin, I have worked on both sides of the platform and I can say that it is very user-friendly. Overall I think it is a great alternative to G-Suite and in some cases a better one.

Cons

The learning curve, while conquerable, was a tough hill to climb. The support sites that I found were usually less than helpful and contacting Microsoft directly was never really an option that was presented to me. Through lots of google searches and pouring through subreddits, I was able to gain enough basic understanding to make my way through and consider myself semi-proficient in the workings of my portion of our 365 ecosystem. Another huge hiccup I have found is the product request and implementation system. It seems many features that people love are removed, and Microsoft doesn't seem to want to do anything about either adding them back or finding a workaround.

### "Best Option for Automatically-Updated Office Installs, But Not the Greatest Value"

December 3, 2019

4.0

Office 365 fits a very specific purpose, but it's a purpose that is very common in office environments: ensuring that you always have the latest version of Office applications available to you, including on multiple computers if you choose one of the higher-priced packages. Gone are the days of needing to purchase each new edition of Office every 3 years, because Office 365 automatically upgrades whenever a new version is released. The downside is, you're then locked into a monthly subscription, and then if you cancel it, all the money you spent leaves you with no access to the applications. This may not be a problem for everyone, but it is frustrating at times to realize you are essentially just "renting" access to the software. Its activation system is also a bit buggy, as Word regularly asks me to sign into my Microsoft account to re-activate the software, despite nothing on my account changing. If you can get beyond these issues, however, Office 365 definitely fills an important niche.

Pros

Always provides the latest version of all Office applications, can be used on multiple computers (depending on package purchased), offers OneDrive storage included with the packages

Cons

Becomes expensive over time, local installs of the applications sometimes need to be reactivated due to bugs in the activation system, locks you in to a specific software ecosystem

Reason for choosing Microsoft 365

Wider support for various document types, and needed advanced features of Office that were not available on open-source alternatives.

### "Works great, it does wht you expect it to do"

September 7, 2021

5.0

Has been going great. Coming from other service, I thought Office 365 wouldn't be able to keep up with the challenges. Oh boy it did. It has pretty much every collaboration tool you can imagine or need to work, specially with a remote team that has different time zones.

Pros

The thing I like the most is how integrated everything is. You can create a meeting, invite people over email, share a document with all attendants and then have the meeting, everything from pretty much the same screen and the same interface.

Cons

I am not a fan of the design of some user interface elements, specifically the email. It took me a while to get used to perform common tasks on the email UI.

### "Microsoft Office Taken to a Whole New Level!"

September 10, 2018

4.0

Office 365 brings me the feeling of a modern and digital way of working. The real time collaboration on documents ability is something most organisations could benefit from. Since we started using Office 365 at work, we have managed to reduce sending file attachments and instead collaborate on documents. This makes our work way easier and simpler.

Pros

I have never had so much fun with office programs until my boss upgraded us to Office 365 from Office 2013. Imagine having all your office solutions installed in the cloud and being able to work from any where and with any device. You only need to ensure you have an internet connection and login details of your account. And incase you are worried about not being able to access internet all the time you need the application, you can have the app installed on your desktop/laptop. From my personal experience in my career, your documents and files are safer in the cloud than elsewhere. The ability to collaborate on documents should be one of my most favorite things about Office 365. You can create a document, share with your others, and edit the same document in real time - it doesn't create different version of the same document. And In case you need to go back to an older version of a document, the app has the ability to create versions of documents.

Cons

The downside of Office 365 is that it requires some sort of learning curve before you start using it.In order for everyone to be able to welcome the new way of working, the employees need some training in order to incorporate and utilize most of the features that come with it. Otherwise it can be expensive for an organisation to acquire the app and fail to utilize most of its benefits.

### "Office 365 is Awesome"

September 28, 2021

4.0

Despite being 40 years old, MS Office is still as relevant and useful as in the 1980s. Not a bad achievement :)

Pros

In general, the web versions are improved A LOT, the invite TEAMS integration is top notch and the office apps are getting smarter. Plus I can now download Office from the Mac App Store :)

Cons

TEAMS full screen experience sucks (alt tab does not work!). It is still Microsoft and 40 years of history makes for some weird bugs. For example, to copy/paste using a keyboard shortcut you have to press ctrl-c twice, why?? In Excel, the dialogs are modal (can't use the sheet at the same time). And in PowerPoint it is such a bad user experience when double clicking an object (e.g. defaults are hard to change, the info panel always comes up and the object text management is sub-par. Please work on these topics and send your teams to shadow real customers, they will tell the same thing!

### "popular platform"

February 10, 2021

4.0

M365 it is absolutely the most popular platform for office and collaboration among the enterprise organization and it has a complete set of appl like Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, onedrive the office suite \[Word, excel, powerpoint, access, etc\]. Currently represent the standard especially of the use of word and excel. SInce it is a cloud platform represent a good solution to share the same content from different device, but most useful is the ability to have a persistent personal backup with onedrive. Personally i feel that the need of client access is still an old conception, that lock the user and especially push the organization to the need to install and upgrade the client side. Personally i don't like the "Teams" organization, the navigation some time is really inefficient. in a comparison with G-Suite probably in the next feature we will see more an increment of the diffusion of G suite that il more common among mobile users

Pros

\- well know platform among enterprise organization - good support services - excel have no easy alternative - the best solution on Win OS

Cons

\- mostly is optimal the use of the client and and less the web usage - in big size company it need a strong effort to manage the client installation on laptop - Sharepoint often appear too complicate for the feature that offer

### "Essential and Functional "

June 8, 2023

5.0

I’ve been using 365 back when it was just Office in 8th grade. It’s second nature to me so I can’t imagine my life without it. Google and Apple products are easier to use but you can’t escape 365 for familiarity and universality.

Pros

Microsoft is useful because it provides all the functionality I need to execute my job—documents, tables, and presentations. The programs are also universal so they can be shared and opened by anyone. Sharing is easy too.

Cons

While sharing is easy, it is not as easy as Google, which integrates with my email. Google also can slide more easily and have better UX. 364 doesn’t have the smoothest UX.

### "An Office suite for every day of the year!"

January 12, 2021

5.0

I enjoy it, it's a gold standard, and it's continually developing but it has its challenges and there are some Suites that outperform it on different levels. What 365 has over most of them is computational power, reliability, and an array of programs.

Pros

Microsoft Office is an undisputed gold standard. It leads the pack when it comes to office suites plus in my case it was the very first one I used. It has a lot of programs, Powerapps, MS Publisher and MS Project particularly stand out, I like them. I have not used another office suite with programs similar to these? plus they work well. Office 365 programs, in general, have great computing power, they are unlikely to crash or slow down, more especially when coupled with a good processor. It's also nice how you can easily save different documents in different formats, with zero to no error or glitches, for instance, a .doc can be saved as a pdf, .ppt can be saved in video format. These document conversions are swift and fast. Over the years I had gotten used to using MS Office as an offline installation, I still prefer it this way but having 365 accessible online with its many programs has been a gradual game changer. This opens up room for better collaboration and better project management.

Cons

It's nice how MS Office has a number of programs but when working on several documents across these programs, handling can get messy. You end up with a number of items on the taskbar and under each item a number of windows. It would be nice if this could be bundled into one MS Office 365 item. More and easy to integrate cross-platform functionality in Office programs would also be nice.

### "The Gold Standard"

September 6, 2021

5.0

This is the latest development for a product that has become synonymous with office productivity. All of our staff knew how to use the Office suite of programs. There was no training or onboarding requires. Microsoft has outdone itself again by making their software available across a litany of devices. Having the ability to take our work wherever we go, on whichever device we may have, is yet another reason why we will continue to use 365.

Pros

Microsoft has done it again with 365. Already having a stellar product that is used by a vast majority of the population from the time they are old enough to get on a computer, they have made upgrades that make the user experience even more friendly. Rather than requiring us to purchase individual products for each workstation, 365 has saved us significant amounts of capital through their cloud-based software. Our employees can login on their phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops to access the entire range of Microsoft products. Having instant access to all relevant documents and programs had saved us money and increased our productivity.

Cons

Some features that our employees have grown accustomed to over the years of using Office were not transferred to 365. Most notably for us, the inability to sum the rows of a table in Word has caused frustration, but it is a minor inconvenience.

Reason for choosing Microsoft 365

We had no alternatives. Upon seeing what 365 offered, there were no needs left unmet for our organization.

### "All the tools to work in a single package"

June 25, 2019

5.0

In summary, i can´t imagine working without Office 365. I´m not interested in knowing if there are better tools, it´s fully functional for me. When I need to do something new, first I look if it can be done in office before looking for other software for it.

Pros

I've been a Microsoft Office user since I have memory of using a computer (and that's a little over 20 years). The Office package has only improved over the years. It has a greater number of functions, which means that you practically do not need another program to work, make presentations, analyze data, and everything you may need in your work. Office 365 also has online features, like Sharepoint, wich helps a lot when you work with your team in the cloud. Also the synergy between skype and outlook to arrange meetings is really amazing. I appreciate in Outlook is the search window. Finally it is very easy to search among all the emails. And if you (like almost everyone in these times) have to navigate among thousands of emails, this was more than necessary. The most obvious thing to note between office and office 365 is the change in design. Everything is cleaner and clearer. The options are easier to find but the difference is not so drastic as to lose familiarity.

Cons

Sometimes the positive thing that gives us all the time (features) also makes some other things very complex. For example, word is still problematic with simple things, and the way to solve these problems is usually very complicated, having to resort to a YouTube guide for example.

### "Titled review"

October 7, 2022

5.0

We are a big company, so MS Office tools are something, that we ware using for some time now. With the adoption of 365, the life of an IT admin is now much easier and the work is much more transparent.

Pros

The integration of the system on all levels of the company.

Cons

Not many complaints, but if I need to point out one thing, then I would choose the feature, where the one-drive sync stops until a document "dispute" isn't solved. Users tend to overlook this notification.

Reason for choosing Microsoft 365

We used other MS Office tools.

### "Very limited issues except having to recreate Outlook profile with gSuite"

April 19, 2018

5.0

It's not worth it just for OneDrive, but if you need at least one other item too, it's a great deal, with great quality and extensive enterprise features. Backing up user files by moving the location of documents, pictures, etc folders, which saved money. Replacing file server with OneDrive file shares, which saved money Bundling email and office products to save money Great office productivity and Outlook is enjoyed by many employees with several email accounts.

Pros

I really like the option to have the company on a deferred update schedule. That has worked out very well for us. Updates very rarely break anything for us. If you don't need official looking stuff all time and sharing documents with customers all of the time, gSuite and Google docs might work out fine. For us though, we had to have Office, and after we have that, bundling stuff started to save us money over our current providers. We switched from paying for Google email ontop of office to upgrading from ProPlus to E3. We would also save more if we dropped RingCentral and upgraded to include Skype for desk phones if we weren't grandfathered into a great deal. OneDrive included has turned out to be very useful. We changed all users' documents, pictures, favorites, etc locations to being in OneDrive so everything is backed up. We also create an admin account that shares files that replaces the file server we had. WIth the sync on demand option, users don't need to have a full copy of the 20GB share on each computer.

Cons

OneDrive's sync on demand feature doesn't work on servers, just user desktops. Share login between Microsoft websites, concurrent editing of Docs and sharing documents are much more of a hassle than Google's methods.

### "complete solution"

September 23, 2021

Microsoft 365 is undoubtedly a comprehensive solution for the company. I could say that possibly, depending on the type of company, another program suite is not necessary

Pros

Microsoft 365 is very complete with the entire product catalog that it integrates, not only the office package that is essential for any computer but also programs for teleconferencing, creating interactive presentations, simple and complex workflows.

Cons

I can only criticize that some programs do not have a friendly interface for example "power automation" could have a better UX

### "An important tool for the understudies and specialists."

February 23, 2021

5.0

As an information investigator, I use Excel for truly everything. Each work I've at any point had we've utilized dominant. It's the most ideal approach to sort and store information. I use it to take care of information into different virtual products (like scene, R studio, python) and I've discovered dominant to be truly viable for each one of those different programming projects.

Pros

I like having the option to channel on the headers line that way I can channel the information to explicit things (like an area) and just view that information. I love the capacity to arrange paint it removes a ton of time from the work. The monetary capacities are not difficult to utilize and to accommodating in the event that you do any bookkeeping/account type work. The preset tables are useful as well, I like to utilize those formats for a fast table.

Cons

Dominate refreshes at regular intervals or thereabouts and I scorn when they change the area of their highlights/capacities. It likewise consistently looks somewhat changed and I don't care for change.

### "Perfect for a student, business "

February 28, 2021

5.0

Overall my experience with Microsoft 365 is nothing short of amazing. I have so many applications at my finger tips. Since integrating 365 into my daily personal and work life, I have been able to produce more documents, spreadsheets, power-points, etc.

Pros

Microsoft 365 is perfect for handling multiple tasks. 365 is convenient. The ability to have all of your applications in one program and easily switch between them is a big pro. Multiple team members can work on the same document, making collaboration effective and essential. Internet is not required and there is offline accessibility.

Cons

Unlimited storage is not free and comes at a fee. As a Mac and PC user, I tend to have slight issues such as functionality on my Mac versus my PC. Just a few bugs that can be fixed.

### "The Flagship Document editing suite"

October 12, 2020

There have been a lot of good features like document comparison, templates. It makes it easier to review work. Then, the feature with identifying authors and version are certainly useful but there is scope for improvement.

Pros

Office 365 is full with features and a very good interface. Its easier to see licenaing information and available office apps from the office 365 app. Further, MS word and power point are just phenomenal with their inbuilt templates, extensive list of features.

Cons

Sometimes its hard to find examples on how to achieve certain effects in the documents, especially when automating documentation and defining the fields for automating. I would love to see a better integration between access, word, powerponit, excel for both automated documentation, report generating and project management.

### "Office 365: It's got EVERYTHING your small business or home office needs!"

September 22, 2018

5.0

I use Office 365 literally every single day. In addition to my own personal and business needs, I recommend Office 365 to all of my clients as well. Over the past couple years I've helped several small business streamline their various processes using Office 365; mostly this is done with a combination of Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and OneDrive. Overall, there's no other or better solution that I've been able to find (especially for the price!) which will give me the power and functionality as will Office 365, and I highly recommend it.

Pros

There's a lot of pros with Office 365 ... what stands out to me as being what I like the most about it is that it's got EVERYTHING (and there's new features constantly coming out) I need to get the job done for personal, small business, or work: I can write a doc with word, insert a chart created with excel, then polish things off with a nice power point presentation all of which I can then email using outlook - all within Office 365.

Cons

What I like the least about Office 365 is that there's SO many apps and options and features to choose from aside from your "basic" apps like Word, Excel, etc ... that learning how all the different apps integrate / interact / communicate with each other can be quite daunting. Although there's plenty of FAQ's and help online within the Office 365 community - I've struggled a bit keeping up with the "best uses" for each app and often find myself underutilizing their potential because I haven't found one single source to go to for straight forward "how-to" info for the Office 365 apps.

### "Office 365/Review"

July 24, 2019

5.0

I use this program for private and business purposes, although a bit more demanding program it gives me a bit of fun while working.

Pros

The benefits of Office 365 are many, I will try to list only some. By subscribing to Office 365 (O365), you get access to the latest versions of Office software (WORD, Excel, PoverPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.). Allows you to use the most advanced features in these applications that have become better at a given moment (e.g., Direct Translation of Text in a Second Language in Vord, Using Geo Cards in Excel, or Inserting 3D Visual Elements in a PoverPoint). The full package works best with the cloud (cloud) where Microsoft gives each user a free terabyte space on their file storage servers. One terabyte is more than enough to store all the files you use on documents (photos, photos, videos, e-mails, etc.). Transferring your files to the cloud gives you several benefits: :: Your files are available to you from any computer, tablet, and on your phones: You can share files with colleagues, even more so, work on the same file at the same time from different locations (for example, colleagues in the office and you at home, do together on the same PowerPoint presentation, and then see who made the change). These services significantly reduce the number of sent emails, then problems that arise when the organization circles several versions of the same document within the organization. :: When all of your files are in the cloud, it means you always have a copy of your disc without the need for external disks.

Cons

There are also shortcomings in the use of O365 that some organizations can be decisive when deciding whether to switch to this service: :: If you are not connected to the Internet, synchronization between devices will not work. This means that you may not be able to update the latest version of the file your colleague worked with using the 'cloud'. :: Microsoft almost daily adds new features, and for some users who do not like changes, it may be a problem.

### "Power Pack of Enterprise Security Features and Seamless Integration with Office Tools"

December 3, 2019

4.0

Security is the major benefit of any Microsoft Product, Starting from setting the basic permission for email to configure the productivity suite products like Word or Microsoft based on the user permission is easy to handle in Office 365 compare to other products. Also, the Microsoft Teams allows integration with other popular enterprise product suites or apps JIRA and enables the smooth integration

Pros

Office 365 is the collection of all the well known Microsoft Collaboration and Productivity suite of tools that makes the business simpler and powerful without compromising the security. Starting from outlook email access to office tools like Word/Powerpoint it is easy to configure based on the user settings and allows to host the enterprise application through comp portal. Specifically, the support for mobility is amazing. It allows me to configure the office email setup without any additional work based on the rules set by the administrator.

Cons

One of the major drawback is, it will not allow work properly if you have more than one office 365 accounts. In my case, My client and my organization both are started to use the Office 365 as the primary hosting platform. And most of the cases, it will request me to delete any of the other accounts and I need to re-configure to check the other email. Switching between the accounts is not easy.

### "Powerful management tool"

September 22, 2021

5.0

The benefits are many, as you have everything you need for personal or business management in one place. And the best thing is that the apps communicate and this makes productivity a lot easier.

Pros

Microsoft 365 greatly facilitates and speeds up productivity in a corporate environment as it has an excellent set of applications for office tasks like "Microsoft Outlook" for managing email, tasks and calendar integrated with "Microsoft to Do" for individual activities . In the wonderful “One Drive” you have access to your files from anywhere and with an incredible 1TB space with the right to share (I love it). Collaborative tools like "Microsoft Planner" to manage teams and projects in an intelligent, organized and intuitive way. It also has "Microsoft Teams", which is a communication hub between teams. In short, all this with the purchase of an annual or monthly subscription that keeps the apps always up to date, and at a price that fits in the pocket of any professional or company. The subscription is divided into groups: for home users, for companies and for large companies. The subscription also allows 60-minute skype calls per month. Sorry, I'm a big fan of this company. =)

Cons

As this is an online workflow platform, internet speed interferes with information updates being shared, other than that nothing to declare. Just joy.
