Largely functional applications that work for the most part. The 365 suite is very versatile and the family of apps work well with each other. The experience is fairly seamless and the pricing is cost effective for what you're getting. Cons The security features are very obstructive. I have missed emails from legitimate contacts because Microsoft got it wrong. 2FA is sometimes required even when you're logged into another app from the Microsoft family. Teams has definitely improved functionality upon Skype for Business. The whole ecosystem plays nice and OneNote is the killer app that no other company can better. Pros This is a comprehensive solution to cloud-computing with many added extras. The recent inclusion of apps like Stream and Teams enable more than just 'Word in the cloud'. I love being able to pick up any device and picking up from where I left off, all because of the power of Office 365. Cons It could be faster when syncing files across devices. OneNote is very fast but other files take time to show on the multiple drives and folders. There are various groups categorized so we can share information, communicate and make announcements, etc. actually it is very easy than creating a WhatsApp group because everything is well organized. Mail and Onedrive also nearby so I never miss a mail or have to go through every folder to find a file since I keep my priority files in my Onedrive. don't use ms word and excel much but we use powerpoint regularly. It is so easy to use and it's better than the offline ms office because it suggests designs to your slides and I always use that. also, you can browse for images right through it. Pros love the online version of this. it's so easy to work since it suggests many design ideas to your powerpoint presentation, autosave everything so no need about losing data. teams app is the one I love most since it helps very much to organize data to a particular group of people and communicate Cons not much to dislike. I don't use a lot of the more complicated functions of any of the programs, but I like their ease of use and consistency. I have recently started to use OneNote and it's easy to use and very handy. Pros I like the fact that the office products I've used for years are constantly updated. I don't have to wait for them to come out with a newer version, but its updated immediately. Cons There recently was some kind of glitch with the software and NONE of the programs would open. I had to call Customer Service to get someone to help me fix the glitch. However, managing a team subscription can be frustrating and expensive. We would recommend it for individuals or teams who use Office frequently, but for infrequent users, a one-time license might make more sense. Pros The Office Suite that comes with this product are all great products with many wonderful features. In fact, we couldn't function as a company without some of the products, so we would definitely say they're valuable and useful altogether. Cons The subscription model can add up significantly over time versus paying a one-time license fee like we used to. The cloud version has some benefits, but it's certainly more costly over time. I kept putting off switching because I didn't want to pay a subscription, and had really planned to just buy another, more current standalone package. I'm so glad I changed my mind. I pay my subscription on an annual basis, and like knowing that my software won't go out of date. Pros Office 365 is just what I needed. As a long time office user, I knew I wanted to upgrade to more current versions of the software, and the price charged is well worth it to stay current. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are the ones I use most, and I use them daily. I love knowing that I will always have the most current version. I plan to learn to use Access, because I have a ton of data to manage that sometimes goes beyond what Excel can do well. Cons I don't use Outlook at all, but other than that I have no problems with the software. It's exactly what I expect and need it to be. We can create our documents easily by using Word, and create attractive presentations by using PowerPoint and we can make reports by using Excel. We can share information with other people, although they have different versions. Word is the best way to create documents. We can use different fonts, and also any style we want to do in our document. Not only letters, but also we can include any shapes and images we want in our document. So we don't want to use third-party app to create shapes and images. Excel is very easy way to doing calculations and create reports. We can do simple calculations such as add, subtract, divide and multiple. And also complex calculations by using Excel. PowerPoint is very easy and fast way to create attractive presentation. Pros Still the best office software. Nothing works better than Excel or Word for versatility. I like being able to save in pdf format so I can email copies easily to anyone. Also being able to import a pdf and then edit the document in Word and then save again in pdf. Granyed I use Excel less than I used to but what is better or easier to use than Excel for finance? Nothing. I like Outlook as well but a little less so. Cons The 365 version of Outlook has some issues when I try to automatically add something into the calendar. I usually have to drag & drop and then its fine. I wish Word had a better format view. Cons Only possible Con could be the switch to the Monthly subscription instead of being able to purchase a copy of the software. You do have the option to pay per year though if you wish and you always have the most up to date software so it's worth it. As a result of these were were able to transition smoothly to working remotely with minimal loss of productivity. The ability to still download certain apps so that power users can have full capabilities and for offline is also very good. The money we spend on the licenses is easily offset by the cost savings of not having to travel for meetings. Pros The Teams app is one of the features I love most about Microsoft 365. The ability to call any member of your organization with a few clicks is a nice step up from using phone lists and paying long distance phone call rate. Each meeting you set up automatically becomes a workspace for chatting, sharing files, writing meeting notes which remain for as long as you need them. You can also invite users from outside your organization. The ability to view, share, and edit documents made with other Office apps is also very useful. The security integration features with Microsoft 365 also makes it easy for IT to grant or revoke access to countless other systems all from on central location. Cons The file sharing and collaboration tool tool usually works well but I have noticed a few instances of "merge errors" when working on a shared file. This has resulted in OneDrive creating new copies of some of my files to distinguish the local version from the shared version when it can't merge my changes with the shared version. It has more benefits than flaws. Pros I use my Outlook email and calendar as a checklist for all task needing to be completed everyday. I also use SharePoint and Word daily too. SharePoint is an amazing tool we use to store important editable document so multiple staff members are continuously working on the same document and have access to the most recent data. Cons Sometimes the application crashes and takes a while to come back up. Also, some older emails are inaccessible after so long. Getting support is never fun either, while on the phone with support you often get transferred to other contacts a min of 3 times and the calls often drop.
