The navigation is easy, the notification sounds are great, the ability to team collab is amazing and I had no ads, bugs nor issues of it collapsing either.

Pros

when I found out about Microsoft To Do, I was going through a phase of endless distractions between entrepreneurship and going to university. It was free for what I needed and easy to use. I had no worries about notifications, and I could set timers, reminders, color code projects. I also loved the done sound it gave me when I marked a project complete.

Cons

I think there should be brighter colors on there. The colors were a bit dull and wasn't enticing for the most part.

Pros

An immediate reduction in my anxiety. By getting tasks out of my head and into the app, I regain a calm and focus that I didn't have before.

Pros

I really appreciate the "My Day" feature. Every morning, I start with a blank list and consciously choose the tasks I will focus on. It’s very rewarding to check off items and hear the little "ding" of success. The integration with Outlook is perfect: I can turn an email into a task with one click.

Cons

I find it a bit too simplistic for managing group projects. It lacks advanced collaboration features or more detailed calendar views. It is truly a personal task management tool above all.

Microsoft To Do has matured into a reliable personal task manager, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem. The integration with Outlook Tasks and Teams assignments makes it a natural fit for Microsoft-centric workplaces. For lightweight personal productivity and daily planning, it does the job beautifully — though users needing deeper project management may need a complementary tool.

Pros

Microsoft To Do integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, making it ideal for users already using Outlook, Teams, and OneNote. The My Day feature, smart suggestions, and recurring task functionality help keep daily priorities organized. The clean, minimalist design makes it easy to pick up and use immediately.

Cons

Microsoft To Do lacks some advanced project management features like subtasks beyond one level, time tracking, or Gantt-style views. Collaboration features are fairly limited compared to dedicated team task tools, and there is no built-in calendar view for tasks across lists.

Pros

Being able to access my lists on all of my devices is a great thing to have. If I forget my laptop at work, I can access my list from my phone at home.

Pros

I really like that I am able to easily create a schedule and make a list of things I need to get done at work. Being a teacher, I have many things that need to be completed at certain times of the week. This makes my life much easier.

Cons

I have not come across anything I dislike about the software. Everything has been great so far when using the software.
