I always recommend. Great for families as well! Pros We used this program for our grand opening, when we had 1000 things to do and 20 different people involved in making it happen. It is amazing to be able to create a shared list, assign jobs, and make notes to team members all in one location. This app allows me to have a list for everything. Not only that, but a smartly designed list that I can share with others. I have master lists, sub lists, lists for certain dates, etc. and I am able to easily access and manage them all within the app. I'm also able to set recurring reminders for important tasks, deadlines, etc. Basically, if you're not using a list making app right now I would suggest this one over others. Cons I can share my lists with others but they cannot collaborate on the lists. Which for me, is not an issue but for some this may be a deal breaker. As a student in university, I constantly use it to keep track of assignments and their due dates. I love that Wunderlist reminds me when I ask it to. So I can input a task for an assignment and schedule it's due date and Wunderlist can remind me the night before that I have an assignment due tomorrow. I love sharing lists (like a grocery list with my wife) or travel packing list. Pros Wunderlist is awesome for creating simple, fast, lists. Plus, as a bonus, you can choose specific lists to share with others. Cons Nothing. Simple, easy to use. Color coding would be kind of cool...if I had to pick something :) Reason for choosing Microsoft To Do I tried a couple other 'list' apps. I like that this one doesn't over-complicate the task at hand. Just a simple check list. Pros I like that the software is extremely simple, keeping the user focused on the tasks and not the features of the app. It gets the essentials correct and does them well, but with very few additional features. I still like Wunderlist but just felt it was going to be a matter of time before the application shut down and the team stopped working on it. Pros Wunderlist since being purchased by Microsoft hasn't really updated any new features and all the new ideas have been implemented into the new Microsoft ToDo application. I think Wunderlist is still a great resource but know that the application should be shutting down anytime and hasn't been updated at the pace it was when the team was working on it. Cons Wunderlist even when the team was working on it never really had the same features as say a Todoist or TickTick. It was a simplified version of a basic task list that worked extremely well in the niche that they were in. I would recommend Wunderlist to those starting out wanting to track their tasks but know there are much more feature-rich applications out there. It's easy to organize, the interface is intuitive, I can access it anywhere. I also love being able to share lists with other people. Cons I have zero complaints about Wunderlist. It has every function I could need and I've never had a problem with it.
