I would recommend others use it but other note platforms are similar and work just fine. Pros I use one note a lot. I take a lot of notes during my day to track what I've done and what i need to do. It is easy to use, manage documents, and collaborate. Cons Sometimes the UI gets a little confusing. This only really happened for the first bit I was using it. If you read my other reviews this is a theme so maybe it's just me. Not really many cons besides of this. Any important information is in one place and is organized by books and tabs for easy retrieval. The benefits to this program may be very personal based on understanding of how it is designed to function. Pros The use of OneNote is one of the main reasons I am able to remain organized and on task during the work day. My role is comprised of many parts (finance, HR, office management, etc.) and OneNote allows me to keep track of daily, monthly, and even yearly tasks. Furthermore, the ability to document How To's in one place but still separate from all of that is essential. OneNote is as important to me as almost any other application on Microsoft Office. Cons While I personally find OneNote easy to use and helpful, many employees find it difficult to understand. Many do not see the value in it which I believe is because it is under advertised and explained. Cons It has its own file format for saving the documents, which makes it difficult to adapt when the software is not available, which might cause data loss. Cons Sometimes can be slow to sync across devices and performance can be slow with large files.
