Pros

When we signed up for SAGE we were sold the moon - so a big pro is their sales team is great at closing deals.

Cons

The cons unfortunately outweigh the pros. Anything that you would want to do with SAGE requires a great degree of customization through paid consultants and programming teams. The cost per user can get insane and the system is very clunky with reporting and databases being difficult to configure.

Big fan of the reports that are generated in the system. We utilized Crystal Reports as an add-on at the time.

Cons

Cost and continued support is pricey. You will need the added support so all you can do is really complain about it.

Pros

We have been using Sage for a long time as it is what our accountant is most familiar with and it does a great job for standard accounting processes. It can integrate with other products easily and is easy to use once trained.

Cons

The interface and some features leave a lot to be desired. The product has some quirks that are unique to Sage.

Makes my job very easy. This software organizes clients by chosen category which allows me to pinpoint clients when I need to.

Pros

It was easy to learn and work with. Sage allows me to have fluid work flow and quick access to clients accounts.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a while to load on my computer and trouble shooting some payment issues can be difficult to trace.

Pros

Sage 100 ERP has enough functionality for a small- to mid- sized business. Its AP and AR modules are easy to use and very straightforward.

Cons

Sage is not very user friendly for accounting oddities or idiosyncrasies. It does not trace transactions through different modules - such as PO to product receipt to invoice - very well. It is also not very user-friendly when searching for specific transactions.

Pros

It tracks inventory and manufacturing process really well. The cost of goods and sales functioning and tracking is excellent.

Cons

Not built for service companies. The functions work but they don't fit the necessary needs of service companies. A scaled down version might be easier.

I hardly have any pro's with this software but I do like that it integrated with our existing sage products.

Cons

Hardly an ERP system. My previous job I shopped ERP software for about a year before I decided. I started my new job and this company has Sage ERP systems. It is miserable. Do not recommend.

Pros

Sage 100 is very user-friendly, is easily and quickly learned, and is very robust. Add-on modules allow it to expand with your business.

Cons

The only downsides are the same with every piece of software on the market - yearly updates makes it a bit pricey to ensure you're on the latest version, and support is (mostly) provided by 3rd-party value-added consultants.

### "Good ERP Solution at a nominal cost"

We use it as a tool for logging time in the projects in our organization. It is a simple software with varied functionality as the data can be retrieved from its database in a number of forms and can be used for analyzing performance and other parameters. Apart from that, it is sometimes used in the project costing where it helps in significantly reducing the time required for finalizing the project costs at the end of the project as compared to other software tools.

Pros

1\. It is a flexible software and can be used in engineering, IT, consulting and management related businesses without trouble as it can be altered according to the needs of the client. 2. The data entry is simple and logical. 3. It can be used on both windows and SQL server.

Cons

1\. Sometimes have to enter negative values in data entry form into order to delete the unwanted entry. 2. Turns out to be a little slow when a large number of projects are saved and takes a bit of time to load the information. 3. The License is a tad expensive and customer support is payable on top of the license cost.

It's not a terrible program but I's definitely prefer Quickbooks over this.

Pros

It is fairly easy to learn to use the basic features that it offers if you've used similar programs before

Cons

Cannot make descent reports; Can't correct a previous transaction so it becomes complicated to fix mistaks

We transitioned from outdated MAS90. Like that Sage 100 transition almost seamless. Excited to utilize the automated tax filing features

Cons

Still learn the enhancements to the software from former version we were using, so there is currently alot of help menu searching to find out if we can do things better.

Reason for choosing Sage 100

Ease of transition plus Financial Group I belong to had high recommendations for Sage overall

Cons

Even though this software is really good to use, it takes a while to get used to. Not the best UX experience.

We use Sage 100 primarily for GL, AR, and AP. The software is full featured and high powered. The modules interface seamlessly. Sage offers multiple methods for importing transactions. Critical for effective use of the software and reporting functionality is IT support which is familiar with the program. We use an outside vendor - we do not interact with Sage directly, nor do we know what types of options may be available directly through the software publisher.

Pros

Long list of features, modules interface seamlessly.

Cons

Must have competent support internally or externally in order to get the best use of the program.

If you are just looking for Accounting and very basic work orders (BOMs) you might choose SAGE. But anything deeper and it gets impossible to accomplish everything an ERP should.

Pros

Great User Conference Interface is simple and logical Accounting is solid for GL Affordable

Cons

Does not allow multi BIn mgmnt in warehouse third party resellers are expensive and not always helpful add on integrations do not work with other add ons it is not an ERP Awful Manufacturing capabilities no access to actual support

Sage 100 has multiple business modules which are not too difficult to learn and also the initial setup is not too cumbersome. It can be used to manage account payables, printing checks and for running the payroll. Creating the database takes a little bit of time but all the information is readily available at one location and is easily accessible. It has the ability to generate a large variety of reports and also customizable options make it a good one-stop solution.

Pros

1\. Easy to operate, no specialized training required. 2. Easy to make changes in the data.

Cons

1\. It is a little hard to get the support from customer service for the requests logged on but not too much of an issue.' 2. The number of steps for data recording can possibly be reduced in order to be even more user-friendly. 3. The newer versions of the program have a few bugs initially but they are resolved in the following versions.

Pros

The feature of "Option field" is very useful to track the revenue and expenses for project accounting. The feature of "Office" is very useful to track the profit for each department. It is affordable for the small and medium size organizations.

As it changed a lot of from prior version, there should be more training to be provided for the users.

For a small NEW operation it would be great to create an inventory system. If you have to import from an old system you will have challenges.

Pros

It tracts inventory manually. If you want to create a scan system that's extra. If used properly would be accurate.

Cons

It does not update your inventory in a live form. There are too many windows to open to complete one task. When I went in to look for a decal inventory list, it took 2 minutes to pull up each list. Needless to say, for a manufacturing company, that doesn't work. We need to know in real time what needs to be ordered to get large equipment out on time
