Cons The fact that the backups aren't cloud based without a further purchase inhibits our abilities as accountants to accurately represent the financial position of the companies and easily transfer ledgers from the internal secretaries to us. (That is purely compared to how our company manages things. Sage 50 Cloud is more than capable of solving the needs of other companies, as it provides everything one would need for Sales, Invoicing and Inventory) Once more, not as feature packed as Sage Evolution but by far is the easiest to use and integrate into current systems and business flow. Pros While the software/service is more tailored towards the financial managers within the company, my interaction with Sage 50 cloud is from the Software Engineering and IT side of the business. To that extent, I'd say the integration of Sage 50 into our inhouse software solutions and online store would be the highlight. Compared to Sage Evolution, the integration of Sage 50 Cloud was far simpler and cleaner. While Sage 50 Cloud doesn't provide all the capabilities of Sage Evolution, it's incorporation into the business flow was near seamless and far easier. As mentioned above, the ability to easily integrate it within our inhouse solutions with ease was another treat. Although limiting in a sense, it still provided us what we needed from it to fill the gap in our software solutions, allowing easier maintaining of sales and stock with minimal extra legwork from software engineering side. Cons As with Sage Evolution, Documentation can be quite lacking in some areas. This includes the "how to" when it comes to some of the integration options. While it is relatively easy to figure out when scratching around a bit, detailed documentation explaining exacts would have been a great time saver. Switched from [Sage 200 Evolution](https://www.capterra.com/p/227238/Sage-200-Evolution/) While Sage Evolution was a great product, the sheer lack of Documentation when it comes to the Software Engineering side of things, making use of the SDK to integrate with our inhouse software solutions was the biggest hurdle. Documentation is lacking, and what little there is only caters to the simplest of examples with no indication as to what you are fully capable of doing. The financial reports are good and accurate, also I can easily track my inventory history which is quite impressive. Pros The Financial Reports are quite accurate, it is easy to use and it was easy to integrate with my business units. Cons The cash book may be at times not up to expected standard especially when you are using multi currencies at a company. For instance reversing a transaction made in foreign currency (e.g US$) directly from cash book may in fact double the transaction even if you put negatives. It needs a pro to accurately temper with exchange rates before making such reversals. Hence, there is need to simplify that process.
