The menu is nice and displays well. Cons Don't like the "lite" features. More difficult than necessary to attach files and other limitations. Can't assign enough part numbers as well. It is reliable, albeit a bit outdated, but essential to our work. Pros SAP HANA Cloud has honestly been instrumental for my day-to-day job. From a data management perspective, it does its job really well. Accessing data can be streamline into several different applications I have accessible. Cons The UI and process is a bit outdated and could use some modernization. But can't get upset because if it's not broken then don't need to fix it. Just something to be aware of. Pros I love that this software easily interfaces with Tableau, Excel, etc. We deal with hundreds of thousands of lines of data so it is important to be able to interface with other applications. Cons Sometimes the connection between SAP Hana and our other applications becomes unstable so we have downtime where we can't use it. If a company can afford it, it will definitely be value for money. Pros As a SAP Consultant, I have had the opportunity to work with various database options. In the SAP ecosystem, the two major database options for SAP ERP's are Microsoft SQL server and SAP HANA. My opinion is, Microsoft SQL server has nothing on SAP HANA. SAP HANA is an in memory database, a feature that makes it very fast and gives it ability to support multitudes of data without slowing down the system.When it comes to Data analysis options, SAP HANA is way much better that Microsoft SQL. It gives you the ability to view your data summary in dashboards and KPIs, helping you makes better decisions in a timely fashion. Searching within a SAP HANA database is google like, helping you find the much needed information very quickly.SAP HANA Cloud can be integrated with Excel so data can be pulled from the database and viewed in Excel to make further analysis to the data, considering that most users are more familiar with Excel. Cons SAP HANA is expensive and has a steep learning curve to successfully implement and manage. It is therefore not a viable option for smaller companies.
