This is the most comprehensive centrally managed endpoint security solution for businesses. It includes a host-based intrusion protection system (HIPS), device control, anti-malware, a network IPS, and a software firewall. Client policy is almost infinitely tweakable from a central console—practical for large enterprises but a bit of overkill for the average small business.

Pros

easy to use and Comprehensive, centrally managed business endpoint security. Useful deployment wizard. Small install package. Effective anti-malware.

Cons

Remote management requires IE.Windows only. Client messages can be confusing. Learning how to configure can take time

Pros

Most virus programs are in-your-face with warnings and anything else they can find to occupy screen space. Thankfully that's not the case. You can scan when you want and what you want, and I'm assuming it's always keeping things in check in the background.

Cons

As a user and not an administrator, I find it feels lackluster in its capabilities. It's hard to tell if it feels like it's working sometimes.

Pros

What I like most is that it can instantly detect and block any address that tries to reach the PC without your knowledge. it keeps itself updated every day, I've never seen it crippling the system like other programs. Fast, memory-friendly, problem-free and reliable antivirus with very light form designs with virus database of norton antivirus. It is also important to use it on the desktop. The interface is simple and easy.

Cons

Unfortunately, when I do a full scan on the computer, this program finishes in the longest time among its competitors. The scanning speed of Mail protection is very bad. When I say to disable some of its features, it does not allow and I cannot stop the weekly scan.

Symantec Endpoint Protection works seamlessly in the background while I do my own business and protects me from all kinds of viruses, spywares and malwares. I never had such an issue since I have this tool. It also updates its virus definitions by itself without needing my intervention.

Cons

The renewal fee is more than its competitors.

Pros

\-Central management console Web-based. -No hardware required for cloud-managed service. -Security audit custom reports. -Antivirus and antispyware.

Cons

\-Delayed PING response as a result slower file transfer in the network. -Needs a lot of administrative task at initial stages to stabilize your network. that means more rings to the HelpDesks.

We use this software at the college to protect our computers from any interruptions in service. Keeping our clients and customers safe from any data breach is top priority when you're working with private information. There is real safety in using this software to protect your customers and your devices.

Cons

Only con I can think of is when the computer needs to update and I keep putting it off because it's always a time that interrupts my workday. No real cons to report. I feel safe with this software on my computer.

Symantec provides great manageable rule for firewall, application control and device control. In my opinion, symantec is the best AV on the market.

Cons

It is difficult to find big cons of this product, because the system in the last version works great and is very functional. Maybe just integration with AV for iOS and Android

one of the pioners on the market, very good software it has a lot of features, one of the most complete solutions for protecting your computer / data

Cons

the firewall it is not easy to configure, it practically block everything on your network / computer, it took a long time to setup correctly

This product offers complete endpoint protection especially for companies requiring strict data compliance. UI is very easy to use.

Pros

The real time scanning is very effective and does not slow down my computers. Free product updates with a current license. Mac and Linux operating systems are also supported.

Cons

I don't like the fact that after pushing a new update it always requires a restart.

We started using Symantec Endpoint Protection year of 2017 Central management console is enough good. We have installed the application to all client remotely. We didn't have a problem.

Pros

The performance and management are very good. There is no problem with service support.

Cons

Exception definitions need to be done well. Otherwise, performance issues may occur.

The thing I like most about Symantec is that I do not need to think about security of my laptop. There was not any problems and I feel safe.

Cons

Sometimes it happens that Symantec is throwing popups regarding update of viruses database and it can be annoying.

Symantec integrates with our Outlook email clients and has caught several potential malware threats that have tried to come in via email attachments. Installing Symantec for Small Business on licensed computers is easy to take care of and their virus definitions update regularly.

Cons

When I trigger remote scans, I often suggest to our employees that they leave their computers on and in the office overnight as it takes a long time to complete a full system scan.

Chalk full of features and offers more the more your willing to pay. Fairly easy to setup and use. Strong protection that is updated constantly.

Cons

Customer support is lacking and can be hard to work with. installing the program can be a tad difficult depending on the setup of your network.
