There are broad ranges of benefits that this software provides. So, the first one that I am going to describe here is the premium and flawless functionality that it provides. Moreover, you will love the light-weighted software that doesn't interact with other applications. It delivers quick and best responses.

Pros

This software is designed thoroughly to protect your system from various viruses, malware, threats, and everyday threats. Symantec anti-virus protection comes with built-in advanced technologies and multiple layered functions to help you throughout the operations. The best thing is that it is light in weight, has high performance, and offers both virtual plus physical protection.

Cons

Symantec software misses some features like a few templates and more. Moreover, the speed becomes slow on increasing the traffic flow. Thus, it doesn't respond quickly and shows various buffering issues. The software needs multiple resources to carry out an operation.

Good quality software; definitely the lesser of many evils out there.

Pros

First and foremost, they are an American company, always a plus. Surprisingly for antivirus software that is hard to find. From the companies I've worked at that have used various protection software's, Symantec was one of the few with not too many issues. I often saw with Kasperksy that it would lock out certain things for the IT department and it was a hassle to fix. Symantec also does not seem to destroy your processor speed like many others. The company systems I am on now just got changed over to McAfee and half your day is spent waiting on the anti-virus to allow your various programs to run.

Cons

Older versions were difficult to manage and the GUI's were not as friendly. This has changed significantly though, for the better. Management for full systems is still on the slow side, hopefully changes will come for this as well.

Pros

The best part of using Symantec Endpoint Protection is start to end protection from malware and cyber threats. Always has the latest updates of viruses and malware and protects our system

Cons

Honestly I have not found anything as such in this software which I do not like apart from that it sometimes slows the system.

I always recommend my friends to use this.

Pros

It is one of the best virus and malware detection software for android and IOS operating systems. It easily find threats and removes it without having the access to internet.

Cons

The software is bit heavy and sometimes hang up the phones. This bug is the only con i found till now.

Pros

We use this for dual factor authentication with our computers and phones. It's easy to link the two and adds the security we need.

Cons

Honestly, I cannot think of anything I don't like. I like that it has individual IDs for each device.

Pros

The best features of this software for me are Intrusion Control, Anti-spam, device and app control, USB control, and firewall. The Artificial intelligence and machine learning features make it responsive to unknown threats

Cons

The only reason I am not giving a perfect score is just because of its no antiphishing capability. With that being said, it is very very time consuming to set up the program.

Good software. I never experienced a malware issue thanks to this program. It does not use a lot of RAM or CPU, therefore it is not noticeable when the software works.

Pros

Program runs at the background without causing a performance loss.

Cons

I don't know if malwares are blocked by this program or I never get a malware. A low frequency report would be nice.

We have been using SEP for several years now and it has provided excellent protection. The updates are timely and have not had any serious infections. We could not be happier with the product.

Pros

The LiveUpdates are timely and do their job. The patches can be pushed enterprise-wide with ease. The biggest pro is that it works. For an Enterprise protection software, that is the key selling point.

Cons

We have had an occasional hiccup where the end users need to manually update their virus definitions and there are no notifications that it needs to be done. This can cause users laptops to be blocked from our VPN until they manually push the update. It is not a problem really, just an inconvenience.

Pros

Since adding this software to my devices, I haven't had any issues or viruses. I feel completely protected.

Cons

Some things that I would like to view or download often gets blocked, but I guess that is just the software doing it's job
