It really helps our Clinicians that are out in the field traveling to our patients homes. We were also able to create our map of the areas we serve and add teams that serve each other. This way we can map out the Caregivers day so they do not have to drive 50 miles north then 100 miles south. It's a time saver. Cons We really like google maps and find it very easy to use. Pros I like that I can use Google Maps offline when I don’t have internet access. Street map is a great feature too. November 7, 2021 5.0 I use google maps a lot for travel, obviously, but it hasn't ever gotten me lost and has always been able to get me where I need to be, even if I have NO IDEA where I am going. Pros I do love the options to customize your driving settings, say if you wanted to avoid highways and such. Cons Nothing to name really, maybe sometimes the best route isn't highlighted? It is my go-to and I've tried many others as a gig worker. Pros This app gives the accurate directions and great updates on traffic conditions. Even though it has plenty of features, such as alerts about objects in the road, the screen is simple and not overly busy like it is for some other navigation apps. Cons The directions are not always 100% accurate, but they're the best I've seen. I wish it would automatically include geomining for rewards. From turn by turn directions to reviews all in the same application it is an essential app for daily life. Cons I really wish I could choose custom voices for the GPS like TomTom used to do. The location sharing is a great tool for logistics. It is also easy to share your map with pins and labels if needed. Overall easy to use and easy to integrate. Pros \- the user interface is straightforward - you can share your live location - search along the route is a nice feature also showing detour time to get there, allows you to make better decisions Cons \- adjusting the route guidance voice is not easy and sometimes the audio does not come on at all. - the labelling system is limited and sometimes the pins you create on the computer do not show easily when looking on your phone. March 30, 2020 5.0 Google Maps are great and I don't see a good alternative anytime soon. Pros Google maps are easily the best maps out there mainly because of the data they have access to, with a majority of the population using Android Google maps is pretty accurate in terms of the traffic data and road data. They seem to get it right even in middle of nowhere so as of now they are light years ahead compared to the competition. Cons There is absolutely nothing one can dislike about Google Maps because to actually dislike something about Google maps some other company has to come up with maps that are more intuative. I don't need to have directions prepared, I can just plug in the location and I'm good to go! Pros It's easy to just start typing your target's address and have it pop right up. It gives clear directions, and you can turn the voice navigation on and off. It's accurate and free to download. Cons Occasionally, the map will get flipped upside down somehow, so it's harder to follow. But I've just restarted the app and it seems to revert back to normal. Review Source pK pavan K. I would literally be lost without it. Pros Rerouting is very helpful. Option to mute speaker is great. The newly added features showing stoplights is so effective and helpful. Cons I do feel like I don't have any negative things to say about Google Maps. It has more data than Apple maps and is therefore superior.
