Pros I like it because of the features and the accurate up to date map data also it provides estimated time of arrival and lastly distance to destination. I can get both street view and map views so I can have an accurate visual of where I am going, and locate hotels and restaurants nearby. Absolutely essential for traveling while on business. Pros I love the integration of Google Maps with other Google features, such as locating the nearest gas station and routing me there with the push of a button. Cons I am not a fan of the standard computer voice that comes with Google Maps, and how you cannot change how often the voice tells you directions, for example, in the middle of a phone call the directions will chime in over my phone call. I actually dislike Waze because it is super slow. I love Google maps because it’s a fast moving app as well! Cons Nothing I can state other than please keep it simple use like it is at this point. With it, you can have a personal assistant that sets your route. In fact, using Apple CarPlay with Gemini makes you hate Apple Maps. I have configured my home, work, and college locations, and I can easily set my route and add stops. Cons Still bugging sometimes. Sometimes your mind can wonder from the task in-hand by going 'walkies' and looking at areas in close-up, and other countries. I looked at Norway in close-up as I did this review! Pros Google Maps is great for plotting journeys and drilling down into the exact location of a building - instead of your sat nav taking you to a street at the back of the building, parallel to the road you should be in. It's great for calculating mileage claims, and visualising an area via photo images. Using Google Maps instead of a sat nav is more likely to get you to your destination a lot easier and quicker. Cons It can be a inconvenience when a route is outdated or doesn't map a location correctly because it is a fairly new destination or else because the business is no longer in operation. I used it during a vacation and it saved me in multiple occasions. The algorithm behind it is very accurate, even in more remote areas. I really appreciated the ability to search for restaurants, bars, and attractions nearby, filtering by reviews and ratings. The navigation feature is easy to use and well-detailed. It’s a huge help for exploring new cities without wasting time! Pros I love Google Maps because with it I can do various things including: - view maps; - find directions to reach a place by car, on foot or by public transport; - discover restaurants, attractions and other places of interest near your route or destination; - access reviews and images of places; - have both satellite and photographic vision; - find what you want, wherever it is in the world; - have additional functions, such as games and social options.
