I found it very functional in many parts of the world and even in remote areas. Pros Google maps is very easy to use and is the most up to date map when it comes to locations . I found the directions to be very detailed and accurate and have used it on many mobile devices. Cons I found that there is some limited functionality to when you are in offline mode but the location services still gives you the correct route to your destination even if you do by chance go offline.
