I love how the app looks to my clients and how i can truly control every aspect of the clients plan. Pros the client support is amazing and they are great at making changes and updates to their hard system. The app is incredibly customizable and makes supporting and communicating with my clients and making changes to their programs so much easier. I love that i can adjust nutrition without uploading a new pdf. Cons i wish i had more ability to edit from the coaching app. generally, if there is something that i don't like or would like changed, they say they will send it up the ladder and they really do. You have a lot of features that you can use and make your clients feel VIP. You have nutrition, workouts, and now you have LIVE! also you'll have tools that helps to make the onboard process better for you and your clients. Cons I'd like certain tracking features like habit tracking, but I know that fitbudd is working on continuing to improve, which is why I'm sticking with them. The support team is very good at making sure the apps for apple and goggle are up to date and assist with any issues with your developer agreements. Never had a problem which wasn't fixed easily or quickly with the help from the team at Fit Budd. Also great value for money and reasonable pricing for what you get with the app AND website. Pros The ability to customize your own colour scheme and style to your own liking for the app & have every feature needed to help your clients goals. The apps security when it comes to keeping your clients data and privacy safe is also unmatched. Cons No ability to move areas of the app around to make it even more customizable. Such as getting rid of nutrition area all together if needed for a certain plan or putting the nutrition area above the workout section. Sometimes glitches can occur in certain areas of the app which can be a nuisance to clients and myself, but this is always fixed properly when it does happen and is a learning curve. Communication has always been clear and responsive, they’ve been proactive in understanding my needs, and any requests or adjustments have been handled quickly and professionally. The process felt smooth from start to finish, and I’m really happy with the outcome. Pros What I like most about the platform is how smooth it makes both my work and my clients’ experience. The dashboard and scheduling tools save me time, the nutrition and workout tracking is simple and clear for clients to follow, and overall they find the app easy to use. The feedback has been incredible. Having happy, engaged clients who feel supported makes my job so much easier, and Fitbudd delivers that really well. The support from the team is also faultless. They are amazing, attentive and responsive. Cons The food database can be a little unreliable at times. Not actually Fitbudds ‘fault’ but it needs some intervention. Pros I love the open architecture and how complete the program is currently. I also love that it's constantly being improved as it has been for the last 2 years that I've been utilizing the program. Opening up new opportunities allow me to scale on the way that is productive for our Legacy Cons Not easy to access client information from anywhere other than messages or client list. I feel that if I have an appointment with a client, by clicking on the actual appointment I should be able to have more options than rescheduled and cancel. I should be able to also access the profile of the client. Anywhere that I could find the client's name should give me an option to access information. Also doing side by side comparisons especially for producing before and after documents is not a feature that you all excelled in. I'd recommend also partnering with a company like macro stacks. Very easy to use, very responsive with their live chat team and the way you manage clients on the app is very very smooth. It's great how it gives breakdowns on your earning so it's always clear to see what is coming in and when. Pros I love the customisation of the app and how it really feels like it's your own. It's very easy to use, very professional and makes all my work so streamlines I'm able to take on more clients and still provide and excellent service. It comes across as very professional when signing clients up to my own branded app. Cons I guess I'm not a fan of the way it runs on the schedule Mon-Sun, so if someone signs up and wants to start midweek, their schedule runs from that date, so when writing their plan you have to bare in mind that their 'day 1' may actually be a Wednesday for example. The team is very responsive and offer help at all times. Pros Easy to use. Love how easy it is to upload videos. I also enjoy the ease of use when it comes to building workouts. The exercise library is huge. The library has everything you need to lead any client at every level of their journey. Cons It does not allow clients to talk to each other. Does not give me a notification when a client completes a workout. I would love for this to evolve into a social media style platform where each client gets a notification when other clients complete workouts and load food to motivate them to do the same. Everything you need is right in front of you, making doing tasks like creating workouts or conducting check ins seamless. Cons Lack of AI integrations and experiences for the trainer and end user. Cons I’m in South Africa so it is extremely expensive for us. I feel like they should have payment plans based on your currency. It takes 8 of my clients payments just to pay for my app monthly, it’s crazy !! Pros The Fitbudd team made the onboarding, app creation, and publication process incredibly simple! They are professional and helpful every step of the way. Cons The one thing I would change is the macro to calorie conversion. I am not sure what formula is used - but would like to be able to calculate and input myself based on 4 calories/gram of protein, 4 calories/gram of carb, and 9 calories/gram of fat. August 16, 2025 5.0 I enjoy Fitbudd and I have still not even utilized the full functionality of the app because it is so customizable. I recently attended a webinar that they host regularly and I was inspired to be more proactive in getting the most out of the app. Pros Fitbudd has excellent customer support and they even recently implemented AI into the app that I suggested last year. I prefer Fitbudd over the other client training app on the market. Clients are always impressed when they use my app. Cons I wish I could see and do more from the coaching app but I can review check-ins and message my clients so those are the most important things.
