Its all been pretty easy to learn and get used to. For me its a time issue as someone who owns a studio. I would like to know all the ins and puts and I feel like im slowly learning with the time I have. Pros I switched from PT distinction because I love that my app would be visible in the app store. Its very user friendly and easy to look at. I like using this product. Cons I would like to be able to create meals in the app to repeat them easily. It would be great if we could set up certain days as rest every week without having to do it manually for clients that a create weekly workouts for. Currently errors and failures in deployments are minimal and that is something that we value as a company and at the same time what our users pay for. The fitbudd team is always open and willing to help and we feel close to them. Cons Something that I found difficult to understand is the methodology and estimation of the roadmap. This issue has meant that many of our deliveries are not fulfilled because the dates move but we do not know until we ask. Any issue or question I have had has been responded to and fixed within hours. The support team is super responsive and helpful. I love the app. One thing I would like to see in the future is a "coaches app" instead of just the dashboard website. Would make it easier. And maybe I don't know how, but I would like to get notifications when my clients finish a workout. Pros I love the pre built webpage they provided me with that I was able to customize. It looks phenomenal, and is very user friendly. I also love that the YouTube videos I attach start playing instantly. And the rest timers are a nice touch. Cons I don't love that I can't list services without a price. I would like to list packages without the price, because they vary depending on the amount of time. I would like to have the option to send them an invoice, versus them just going month to month. Some of the exercises I don't like that they're GIFs instead of videos, but I do love that I can just add my own. August 16, 2022 4.0 Overall the experience is extremely satisfying and I'm excited to keep using it. Pros I love how all-encompassing it is. I can save notes, make payments, track meals, workouts, progress, connect with clients--everything is done within the software. Cons There isn't much I dislike about this besides a few things. I'd like to be able to adapt the business hours to be different day by day and even the possibility of having a split-schedule, such as M/W/F or Mornings 7-10 and evenings 5-8, as I am in school and need the flexibility. I don't want clients scheduling calls while I'm in class. I would also like the possibility of making the video call, check-ins, and chat features customizable for the different payment plans I create, rather than having them all the same or having to edit for each individual client. Assembling workouts is super easy and the custom app and website are incredible. Absolutely everything I need to deliver the highest level of service and support to my clients is all in one place: video calls, chat, workouts, nutrition and food tracking, my personal resource libraries, and more. It's incredible! Cons The only thing I'd like to see in Fit Budd is a way to add daily habits for clients. For example, if I want one of my clients to practice meditation for 5min every day, I'd like to put that in their schedule. Then, it could show up on the home page of their app with a check box, so they can select when they've completed the task for the day, along with their workouts and food tracking. March 11, 2023 5.0 I feel like I’ve been able to take business to a new level without struggling so much on the admin side. I find it easier to focus on client relationships. Pros I absolutely love how easy the software is to use form payment plan set up for your site, making workouts, applying meal and workout schedules to clients or automating things; everything is very easy to do. The client app is very simple to navigate as well, I feel like I have better control over my business. Cons There are a few functions that you may not get such as a community option like Facebook or being notified when clients miss or complete a workout. I wish clients could view a workout library themselves as well. I don’t think these things impact the overall quality of the app though as a lot of additions are coming, the developer team is extremely engaging! At times it has been a little frustrating due to being in America and time difference. Not being able to talk with someone in real time can be stressful, but it is teaching me patience. :) Pros Most of the small details are already done. The fitness library has hundreds of movements already in place. I have yet to find an item that is not already in the nutrition section. It's so easy to maneuver. Cons I wish I could see the weeks previous weight and reps lifted without having to go back that week to look. It would be nice to have the toggle at the top of the program to see what I did the week before on that day's programming. " February 14, 2024 4.0 The experience has been great, they are helpful and quick to reply. The one downside of a start-up is that they have been promising new features, but keep having delays. Pros It's extremely easy to use and clients can get sorted out immediately. An extensive exercise library makes it easy to create workouts (you may need to look for the exercises as they may have used different names than what you are used to). Cons The added 50$ for the on-demand feature is very steep especially as the normal subscription is only 99$ for the entire app + white label. There is no space for manual activity tracking or comments with each exercise from a specific workout. More integration of smartwatches would be preferred. They are responsive on their helpline, but in the Facebook group they advertise, hardly any customer service help is given there. I think this product has great potential to grow and be a leader in its market! Pros I love that the app is very simple to see what is needed of you each day, and adding pictures allows you to customize the feel to your individual business. Creating an app is INCREDIBLY hard to do yourself for the non-tech trainer. Fitbudd takes all the tech away so you can focus on your training! Cons I least liked that my clients cannot log their own workouts, and that the programs do not load to their accounts as soon as they sign up. I also struggled with the clients not being able to see their past workout progress... BUT I was incredibly impressed that the owner was able to tell me when these features would be added, so I can plan my life accordingly. And they are all in the next 6 months which really excite me! I appreciate that the company is small enough that they are willing to take our requests so seriously. Reason for choosing FitBudd Fitnexxus advertisement was my first choice because it came stocked with a large collection of workout videos. But claimed to complete an app in 5 minutes and after I signed a contract, told me it would now take 8 weeks. When I complained they terminated my contract. The company and the people who work for the company are really nice and helpful. Their customer service is excellent. Pros I enjoy being able to track my clients workouts and nutrition daily and weekly. I also enjoy the almost seamless process in onboarding clients with the questionnaire. The workouts are easy enough to add and they do provide lots of support when you need it. The website is great as well. Cons They need a calendar system maybe something liken calendly to help schedule calls. I would also like to see landing pages and more marketing tools. It's also hard to contact at times because of the time difference so if you have something pressing you have to wait. Pros The initial call was great and I was paying for another app that I wasn't seeing the financial benefits for and happy that I was able to easily set up my site myself and use FitBudd instead of the other app that cost more but doesn't offer an easy done for you set up, that I skipped the trial and started the set up the 1st day. Cons I wished there was a way to build your own community like a Facebook group, so that I don't have to keep the other app that offers that feature. It has everything I need to run my online fitness business and more.
