I love seeing the wow look on their face when I present my designs to them. Pros I love how simplified the software is. Makes it easy to use and figure out solutions by yourself without always needing to watch a tutorial or calling customer service. When you do need to call customer service everyone is always super helpful and friendly. Another great thing about 2020 is they do Webinars on different aspects of design (lighting, rendering, etc.) I try to be apart of as many of them as I can. Even though I know most of what they are talking about I always find one to two new ways to enhance by designs that I didn't know about before. Cons My least favorite thing about 2020 is when it gets too 'loaded down" with changes to textures and adding in pieces from the cloud to finish the design. It's like it can't handle the memory aspect of the changes and sometimes the system will crash. Training does not take long for a new hire. Designers seem to catch on pretty fast as well. Cons The monthly updates are difficult on our network with various locations. Pros the newest version has a lot more options than in the past. Cons the could doesn't have all of the accessory options that the program had before, and if too many screens are open the program crashes. Review Source Regina S. And if you can get through excel then you learn quickly it has a lot of the same qualities Pros The customer service is always willing to help and even attempt to explain how & why this software works the way it does. Cons The inability to know when it will function in the same manner it did the last time I used it. For some reasons dates don't always carry over. Or my templates will have to be reinstalled just so I can access them even though nothing with them has changed. Review Source DF Danielle F. Pros The ability to create designs with dimensions and show clients what they can expect after their job is done. The catalogs are helpful to see and change designs to desired look. The instructional videos are helpful when needing to figure our how to use all the features. Cons It would be helpful if the program would have store catalogs, such as Lowe's or Home Depot. Project Designer Furniture Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Excellent pricing and quote generator" July 15, 2020 5.0 I use 2020 CAP for all my pricing needs to get accurate quotes out to clients. Pros I love being able to download furniture catalogs and have pricing all right there within the program. It makes quoting furniture a breeze, and the ability to have all the finishes and upgrades easily accessible is great. Cons There are some bugs in the system and I have had the program close out and lose my worksheets. I also would like an easier way to group items to show on the final quote. Currently, the groups are sorted alphabetically and there is no way around that. Pros Great for kitchen/ bath design. Most manufacturers had downloaded catalogs. Cons Would crash SO MUCH. Hard to navigate and 3d renderings weren't great quality.
