I have been a PT for nearly 40 years, and this is the most straight forward program I have used. I like that you can add and omit sections as needed.

Pros

I am going into my 4th decade as a PT and have used a LOT of programs through the years. At this time I am in a new preschool clinic job that uses Fusion, and it was very easy to learn and integrate it into use.

Cons

I wish that I had the ability to customize it more, our clinic does not have M-Fun as an assessment, so I have to enter it as additional thesting, wben it is my primary assessment.

Overall, our experience with Fusion has been positive, and even more so since the merge with Ensora. It has allowed us to keep electronic files of each client with their photo and pertinent documents as well as provide parent access through the parent portal. The ability to fax directly from Fusion to the clients physician is such a timesaver!

Pros

I like that Fusion is web-based and allows the flexibility to document from any secure device. I also really like the integrated scheduling and documentation feature with pediatric-specific tools, pre-loaded assessments and goal bank. We use the quick phrase and pull forward options for documentation that makes daily notes and reports much more efficient.

Cons

One feature that I dislike is that only the therapist who originates the document is able to enter or edit goals. If there is a shared client, this creates the need for back and forth communication outside of fusion when it would be more efficient if both therapists could edit the goals directly on the report.

really great with notes forget pervious session. make the job very easy for myself and others around me.

Pros

Its helps with managing paper work. here we take a lot of data thoughout the day. it store the data correctly.

Cons

the password keep resetting all the time. eveytime we log in it saids the password is incorrect so you have to go back and put it in manually.

Pros

Fusion is very simple to use. It is very user-friendly. I find it simple to work with other clinicians and manage patient documents between myself and the other clinicians that they are seeing. I love the goal tracking feature and visuals too.

Cons

Sometimes it can be hard to find specific documents. It seems like a long way to work around and find it. I also wish I could work on a document simultaneously as another clinician.

I have used for or five different documentation systems and it is one of the better ones. It’s not overwhelming.

Pros

It’s easy to navigate and user-friendly. It keeps a good amount of patient history. It allows us to bring information forward into updated documents.

Cons

It only allows you to open one screen at a time within the application. I can’t tell that it provides any data analytical information.

I have had both incredibly positive experiences as well as some frustrating ones. It is definitely better than my previous EHR system and having the billing integrated so I can see it is a big bonus.

Pros

Fusion has provided my smaller business a more efficient and affordable method for documentation and billing. In general, it has been easy to use. Customer support has been very helpful most of the time. I get paid quickly and can see what is happening with my billing which has been a big plus for me.

Cons

I have struggled with some billing. I did not sign up for the upgrade due to the cost and I am a solo practitioner and the jump was too much and not cost effective. It is helpful that you can fax documents out right from Fusion. It looks like they may have just added a way to receive faxes back as well, but I haven't tried that. When I do have a challenge, I find the support articles difficult to find even when I think I am putting the obvious search words in. I would like to see a way to collaborate with other medical providers for ease of getting a signature from PCPs. Even though they give you time to onboard, it also felt fast and furious and then once your transition time is over, I felt abanddoned when I had questions related to problems I couldn't resolve on my own.

My experience has been very good. It is the best EMR system I have used in my practice time. I have used Fusion, Clinic Source, Simple Practice, and Ocean Friends.

Pros

I like the flow of the program and feel that is very user friendly. It makes collaborating with my assistants very easy.

Cons

I wish I could see the open notes of my supervisees instead of only being able to see the notes once they are finished.

Pros

As a graduate student learning and navigating Fusion is student friendly. I find that as an SLP student it is hands on and easy to navigate around for writing and documentation.

Cons

I do not really have any cons about Fusion because I do find it user friendly and all the tabs are easy to navigate. When sending my documents to my supervisors it is an easy process and for collaborating with other peers.

Overall, Fusion is very user friendly. Claims are electronically submitted within in minutes and if there are any rejections they are back within minutes as well. The Fusion portal for patients is easy to use and most of our patients are enrolled and making account payments through it as well. The onboarding process was simple and the customer service team helped out immensely.

Pros

The feature I like most is when you go into the review claims list where all claims that need reviewing and submitting are located any claims with more than one visit on the same day it will have the message multiple visits, which allows me to add the 59 modifier to claims that the carrier requires. This significantly cuts done on denials and rebilling. I also like that you can manipulate the posting of ERA payments. We balance bill some of our clients and this allows us to do this correctly and efficiently. Fusion is very very user friendly and the customer support is outstanding. I would highly recommend Fusion .

Cons

The only thing I do not like is that when someone adds a file document or an authorization, it doesn't tell which user added the document or authorization. I think this would be very helpful when mistakes are made and accountability needs to be taken.

When I first opened my practice I started with Fusion, but couldn't justify the costs so I canceled but it was a huge mistake to do. I should have stuck it out because Fusion has been wonderful for the success of our business!

Pros

Wonderful design and ease of use, great customer support. As a small business owner, Fusion has helped me tremendously in almost all areas of running a pediatric therapy practice.

Cons

Of course, the pricing and fees seem high; however, the platform is worth it. I also wish the automated text message reminders could be edited and/or a way to send out mass messages manually.

very helpful and appears to be seamless. It does cost more than others; however, it does help out greatly with the amount of work and the cognitive load so that offsets the cost in my opinion.

Pros

Customer support has been very helpful! The ability to use the chat feature has reduced time spent on problem solving various situations. I love the ability to keep all documentation in one place including the financial and the treatment documentation. It has been such a time saver.

Cons

Seems that I haven't figured out how to make the daily notes goal notes transfer to the progress notes goals. This has been low on my priority list of things to accomplish to find out why.

Overall, I have enjoyed using Fusion. We switched over from another EMR and I find Fusion to be more user friendly and faster than the other.

Pros

I enjoy using Fusion because it is very user friendly, you can customize your own evaluation templates, and the customer support is great. Using Fusion has decreased my documentation time as well.

Cons

I like many things about Fusion, but if I could change one thing, it would be that I could remove patients from my patient list when they have been transferred to another therapist.

I enjoy using Fusion. It is easy to learn, and the format of documentation is simple and adaptable for my needs.

Pros

I like most the ease of entering documentation, the simple, free-form format provided to complete individual sections, and the ability to save and copy forward goal information.

Cons

I like least about Fusion difficulties with document preview, in which I always have to download a document to view it. Also, Fusion reports it is frequently disconnects from the internet while I am working online at my job.

Overall, I like fusion as I have become familiar with it and it’s pretty easy to use also easy to train my employees on as well

Pros

I like that the scheduler and all of patient notes and documents are in one place. I also like that we can share documents with parents and it’s HA compliant. It’s also awesome that we can share our schedule with students who are in their clinicals.

Cons

The cost and lack of comprehensiveness with adding sanitized assessments as well as a goals that are not very ST friendly. They’re more PT focus and adult focused.

Overall I enjoy Fusion. I have had demostrations with other programs, but the overall ease of use compared to others makes me hesitant to change. I would reccomend this product to anyone who is just starting out.

Pros

I like how Fusion looks. It has a sleek and simple design that is user friendly. It keeps documents nice and tidy that make what I am looking for easy to find. If I need to share files with families or for collaboration with others in the company, it is very easy to send to who I need.

Cons

The customer support can be a bit lacking at time. Tehy will mostly send you to the help articles, which at times can be useful for something simple, but if there is something niche doesn't always help. It is also a bit on the pricey side comepared to other programs.

Pros

I like how everything is set up! I think it is very user friendly. When I began working at my clinic, I had to learn how to use Fusion for the first time.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to sync deadlines for reports and other documentation so that it showed on each patient’s profile.

Overall, Fusion has been a good EMR that has served us well over the years, but I am definitely looking for a different system that may be able to support us better in the future.

Pros

I like that Fusion is very intuitive to a new person learning the system. I feel like we are able to get people trained on basic features very quickly. It is also very visually approachable, which was a big selling feature for us initially.

Cons

My current frustrations with Fusion are the lack of AI features that help streamline workflows. As I am seeing these features in more and more EMRs, it's created growing frustration that Fusion hasn't kept up. Features like the waitlist in Fusion are fairly useless since sorting is limited; I can't download to Excel to even sort. I can't see when someone was last contacted; it doesn't suggest waitlist people when their preferred time opens up, so someone would need to go search if someone on the waitlist wanted a time that opened.

We picked fusion since it was easy to use and understand as a therapist. It was the first time moving to an EMR and it felt approachable. The support team was also very helpful at that time.

It has been a great experience so far. No major issues. Updates are quick and easy with a refresh is all that is needed.

Pros

Super easy to use. I have never had an issue navigating to find what I need to complete. Love the site.

Cons

I feel like there could be more color schemes to choose from. All just a little basic but that is just me.

I am grateful for their work and for them making it easier to do my job and to do it efficiently and in a timely manner.

Pros

Document management is a lot easier and helps me do my notes and paperwork more efficiently. Its has very helpful tabs that makes it easy to use and find what I need. If I ever need help with anything their customer support is very helpful. I have to share my files with my supervisor on a daily basis. Fusion makes my job and supervisors job a lot easier.

Cons

I haven’t used other systems yet. I am happy with Fusion so there is no need to use another system at this point. They are very efficient.

Very satisfied with our overall experience with Fusion! Would highly recommend! Fusion is not like most other EMR's they actually respond promptly to our requests or issues.

Pros

Fusion customer support is always responsive and very helpful! They explain things in great detail to ensure you understand exactly what you need to do. The system itself is very user friendly and ERA enrollment was quick and all necessary steps were explained.

Cons

Insight reporting took me a little time to get a good understanding but customer support has been super helpful with building the reports I wanted that were not already included.

The overall experience is that Fusion is very useful and conveniently online making it very accessible as long as you have been granted access. It a great way to go paperless and stay protected.

Pros

I like that Fusion is online. It makes it managing documents easier, but it is also a protected and secure platform.

Cons

Being so protected sometime collaboration is difficult when you need to get the information to other platforms.
