" September 13, 2023 5.0 We've refined our business practices and become better at handling our artists and program content, while we've also regained control of our box office and increased our ticket sales. Pros It's a tool that's actually designed for festival management. It's already used by thousands of acts and hundreds of festivals. The customer service is one of the best we've experienced. Finally, the customisation ability is very broad. Cons I can't think of any. As with all tools, the more you use it, the better it serves you. You need to learn the tool and the more it works for you. Reason for choosing Eventotron See above. We are planning to use it for registration, programming and ticketing. Pros The support from the team has been superb and really helped us to transition to using this system. We look forward to testing it out further in the year ahead. Cons Some of the features are more geared towards festivals than touring seasons at the moment but this isn't a huge issue. Festival Performing Arts Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "One stop shop for theatre festivals & fringe events" June 22, 2021 5.0 Working with Eventotron has been great - it has saved us time on admin and so far everything has worked really well. The support is excellent - they always respond quickly and helpful and are very responsive to suggestions for tweaks and improvements. We've not thrown anything at them that they've not been able to help with. Pros Eventotron has consolidated a number of different processes and providers into one site that we can use to take applications, set-up events, create promotional material and sell tickets. It's fairly intuitive to use and work reliably. Cons The only thing I'm not entirely sure about is the messaging within Eventotron between us and our applicants. It's very easy for us to send group messages, which is great, but we don't always notice replies or queries. I think Eventotron get quite a lot os questions that would better be directed to us as well. Review Source KT Katrina T. Eventotron just seems to be getting better all the time. We used to use a survey for data collection, a ticketing agent for tickets, and another agency for collecting fees, which meant we had to have multiple spreadsheets that had to be constantly updated, and had multiple users so there was much room for human error, and much time spent double handling. Eventotron has made the way we work much much more efficient. Pros The search function for specific data is great, because all the info about multiple events is all in one place, and it updates in real time which is especially great for us having multiple administrators. I like it that any one of our team can to write admin notes about each event, and then do a report to see which events need our attention. There are heaps of options for the levels of control over what our users see and when. Super Simple Box Office door tool is wonderful for us, as it allows our multiple festival event producers to manage their front of house and ticketing. The ability to pull all event details and ticketing through to our website is a real time saver for us. There are so many good features to Eventotron and SSBO! It makes life so much easier having all the data collection, fees, venues, and ticketing all in one place. Cons There are some features that could be (and are being) improved, for example: the ability to create a report based on venue names/ whether the event has attached itself to a venue yet or not; a calendar view report. In the SSBO reports, it would be good to have more detailed financial breakdown, for example differentiate between donations to our organisation and ticket purchases within a single transaction. Pros The team at Eventotron are always ready to listen to their customer's needs and work hard to ensure their system is helpful for all their clients. The set up is simple and now that we have integrated with their box office system ease of use is brilliant. Cons There are some quirks to the UX but nothing too difficult! Director Events Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Eventotron has saved us SO much time" June 15, 2021 5.0 Before Eventotron we needed an application system, registration system, box office provider, merchant, bridge between merchant and box office, designer, etc etc. The more steps there are the more likely it is that mistakes will happen. Eventotron does all of these things, there is less chance of information getting lost in processes. Pros I love that it is tailored to what we do and it removes the need to use lots of separate pieces of software. Pros Eventotron keeps everything all in one place for everyone involved - it's such a huge time saver in terms of admin and it's super flexible. I am able to use it to get registrations from artists, schedule venues and ticketing. It also populates the website What's On section plus pulls all the information we need into a brochure template which is an enormous time and money saver. Cons It takes a bit of time find your way around but there are new help functions which are making this easier all the time. Plus the support is really good.
