I also use the Yith Gift Cards plugin extension which works great too. Pros YayMail is easy to use, and once emails are set up performs well in the background and I like the simple intuitive visual UI. Best of all is the customer service. It's prompt, friendly and helpful. I remember at one point there was a feature I needed of felt the software lacked. Within a couple of days the dev team at yay had implemented it! Stella service! Cons Nothing really. Yaymail steps in where WooCommerce is limited. Pros It's very intuitive, if you can use Word, you can use YayMail. Within minutes you can have custom email templates that look wonderful - the add-ons, such as conditional login and gift card templates, make it a true powerhouse. The way you can copy template designs from one template to another is a real timesaver. Cons Maybe how it lacks a way to adapt global colours across templates.
