Even though I was getting millions of views the CPM was so low that I was losing money just making the videos. Had I made a blog back then AND had tools like RankIQ then I could have built myself a sustainable business. I walked away from my youtube channel a few years ago but the desire to build something of my own never went away. Now I'm starting over from scratch but this time I'm building something with a blueprint! Thanks for the supportive tool! Pros Running reports on keyword phrases is life-changing! When writing my first post using RankIQ the report showed another phrase related to the subject I was blogging about. Even though I check the top SERPs for every keyword I consider using I know I would have never noticed that alternative keyword phrase had the report not pointed it out. I think having that secondary keyword only reinforces the thoroughness of my post. I've just scratched the surface with this program! Cons When I look up words from the keyword library on Ahrahs the search volume seems way lower than my minimum threshold. I hope in the future I can sort through the library based on my criteria. Pros RankIQ has, overnight, helped me to become a better writer both from an SEO perspective and from a reader's perspective. The suggested headline generator and the post optimiser immediately give me the tools FAST to form an outline for my posts then encourages me to write comprehensive posts that truly help my reader. Cons Keyword research would be great. One of my team members do this first so we know what AI reports to run. I wish RankIQ were integrated straight into Google disc or Worpdress so I didn't have to swap between platforms. But that's a gold wish. It takes the overwhelm out of what to write next and how to structure the content, making website copy much easier. Pros RankIQ has helped me identify where I should prioritise my content creation time by finding keywords that are relevant to my website and really target what topics I may be able to rank for. The reports make writing time much quicker, knowing what to add to headings and include in the body of the content. Cons The software is still in the early stages of development so while there are a few useability functions that can be improved, these will likely roll out in the near future. I've also found the niche keyword research tool to be a goldmine in finding potential content topics that will drive traffic to my websites. I really like the words to include being listed but that is similar to what another SEO tool has as well. I was wary as I've tried similar products before and found them too feature-rich for what I need, to the point where they are not easy to use. RankIQ is easy to use, cost effective and now an essential tool in my business. Pros RankIQ is a game-changer in the content business. It's allowed me to reduce my content spend by half as I can create incredibly detailed outlines in minimal time. These outlines essentially provide a connect the dots framework for writers, which makes it easier for a brand new writer to provide excellent content for a fraction of the price. As a one-woman band, every dollar matters and RankIQ is allowing me to ramp up my content spend and get more bang for my buck, and help more people along the way. Cons The only thing I don't love is the inability to download the reports in a format I could easily share with writers. Having everything from seeing the top competitors to deciding what content to put in my post, it's all there. Also, having a grade and suggested wordcount help me set goals for each blog post. Cons The thing I liked least was that there is no preview before you run a report. It would be nice to see if it is worth using one of my monthly reports. Cons The only issue I had was on the first night when I wasn't able to stay logged on. However, that issue was fixed very quickly, and now everything seems to be working as it's supposed to. And I was using his advice to find low competition keywords using SEMrush. In less than a year I grew SEO-ranked keywords by 10x, but it was starting to plateau. My favorite part of RankIQ is that it helps me find niche keywords that I wasn't able to find using SEMrush. With this tool, I know I will break through the SEO plateau and grow my organic traffic even more. Cons One downside to RankIQ is that the keywords are grouped by niche category, and there's not a perfect category for every business. For example, my blog focuses on nutrition and diet, but all the diet category only features keywords that include the word diet. Most of which are fad diet-related instead of sound nutrition topics. Pros RankIQ does all of the SEO work for you. You simply need to sift through the keywords that are easy to rank for to find topics to write about. From there they give you keywords to have included, target word counts, and grades on each article through an optimizer. It takes the guess work out of SEO! Cons I am in a specific space where I really focus on cookie recipes and cookie decorating. There wasn't a ton of keywords focused on cookies, though there was some. They are constantly building things out though and I've already seen them add so many baking keywords over the last 2 months. There are still some bugs being worked out, but the team is very communicative when that happens. My favorite thing is how RankIQ already sorts attainable keywords by industry. That's brilliant! Cons Some of the keyword list functions are missing. I want to export my keyword list. Cant do that yet. I would also like to select numerous keywords across all pages of my industry keywords and then add them to my keyword list. You have to do each page one at a time. I plan on testing it with old content that’s performed well and poorly, and then see how well the new content using its suggestions ranks.
