### "Mailchimp + Zapier alternative"

November 28, 2025

5.0

I find Encharge valuable for its email capabilities, allowing us to send mass emails and automate workflows. Its drag-and-drop builder simplifies email design, eliminating the need for coding, saving us time and resources. Additionally, it offers cost-effective solutions compared to Mailchimp, particularly with unlimited emails. I use Encharge with Pabbly, which is another automation system, and I plan to connect it with applications such as Google Forms and our Google administrator account, which contains all our contacts. I use Encharge's drag and drop email builder to design emails without needing to code, saving time and resources. Encharge also allows automation through complex flows, and supports A/B email testing. It enables us to send unlimited emails to many subscribers and integrates with systems like Pavly and Google Form.

Pros

I find Encharge to be incredibly beneficial, primarily due to its drag and drop email building system. This feature is a game-changer because it eliminates the need for coding emails, which can often be a time-consuming and cumbersome process. It saves me significant time, effort, and money, as I don't need to hire someone for email coding. Encharge serves as a comprehensive solution by enabling everything to be done within a single system. I appreciate its ability to connect different flows and create complex automations, which allows for effective and sophisticated email marketing strategies. Additionally, the system’s holistic nature permits AB email testing, further enhancing its usefulness. The capability to automate tasks seamlessly means I don't have to worry about managing emails manually, offering peace of mind. Overall, Encharge's features collectively provide a powerful solution for efficient email marketing and automation.

Cons

I found that the drag and drop email builder in Encharge lacks built-in templates. It would have been very helpful to have pre-made templates available. Although this issue is not a major one, it does make the initial setup more laborious. Creating a structure is more time-consuming when templates are not readily available. Despite this, the platform is still quite modifiable once everything is configured.

### "Solo-Preneur Successful"

December 10, 2025

5.0

The visual workflow feature is extremely helpful. The platform has broadcast email as well as campaign emails. They also offer a workflow template to "new to encharge warm up your ip".

Pros

I have really enjoyed the fact that Encharge has "workspaces" for multiple businesses. I am a serial entrepreneur and having all of my email campaigns available in one convenient application has drastically increased my workflow efficiency.

Cons

I am still playing around with Encharge, but as of right now, the only thing that is quite frustrating is the fact that if you archive anything accidentally, you must reach out to customer support to get that archived recovered. HOWEVER, the customer support did recover those archived pieces relatively quickly (within 48 hours). The second thing is that Encharge doesn't currently have landing pages. I had planned on using liquid tags via archetype quiz, but will have to create an external landing page for those quiz results. With 192+ businesses requesting landing page, I'm sure that will be addressed in the future

### "You need this if you love automations and data "

February 22, 2026

5.0

Love encharge. Has become my favorite platform. I heard about it on threads and haven’t looked back since. I love the automations with it

Pros

What do you like best about Encharge? \* I love the many opportunities for automations. As a systems strategist who loves automations, and seeing the data. It is what drew me to Encharge. Because I can have automations running for everything I have in my business. Nurturing my audience. It's really a great tool and the possibilities are endless. I love how simply it is and it is straight forward when it comes to setting it up. It really is simple and is not loaded with a bunch of features you don't need. Easy for anyone to jump in and use the powerful tool. As well as with everything being separated neatly. And everything works together. Could not recommend it enough and I'm glad I saw others talking about it on threads. What sold me was the data tracking at the end to see who clicked on a link, what the form was etc. pretty cool especially compared to other platforms. it has definitely blow my mind when it comes to what this platform can do and how this will help my business. When it comes to knowing more about my audiences

Cons

That I can’t create appealing forms for the form page. It only has the buttons someone to input their information

### "Strong Potential, But a Slow Start"

September 23, 2025

3.0

Overall, my experience with Encharge has been a bit of a slow start. The platform clearly has a lot of potential, and I know I’m not yet using all of the features it offers. The automation flows, segmentation, and integrations are impressive, and for the price, it’s a fair deal. That said, the onboarding wasn’t smooth. Support was slow to respond, and when they did reply it was more technical than practical. I still haven’t managed to get one of my domains recognized, which is a little discouraging at the beginning. Once I get past these bumps, I can see this being a strong tool for my needs, but the early learning curve and support experience made the start harder than it should have been. 3 out of 5 stars, but I'll definitely make it 4 or 5 if I can get everything working.

Pros

On the positive side, Encharge is a clean, powerful system. The automation flows are intuitive, the segmentation is solid, and the integrations give you plenty of flexibility. For what it offers, the price feels fair. Once you start playing with the flows, you see quickly how much more it can do than just sending out newsletters.

Cons

On the less positive side, the support during onboarding left me a bit frustrated. I left a message for customer service and it took a while before anyone replied. When the reply came, it was technical but without clear, step-by-step guidance—which isn’t very helpful when you’re just getting started. I still can’t get one of my domains recognized, and that’s a basic thing I expected to have resolved.

### "Visual automations done right"

January 8, 2026

5.0

Encharge quickly became a central part of my workflow. Once I got comfortable with the system, building and adjusting automations felt surprisingly fast. The platform is stable, the tracking is clear, and I like how everything stays visual. It’s helping me structure communication with leads in a smarter and more predictable way. Support has also been responsive whenever I had questions, which is a big plus. Overall, Encharge delivers what it promises and makes automation feel manageable rather than overwhelming.

Pros

The visual automation builder is incredibly intuitive. I can map out my entire customer journey without getting lost in menus or code. The platform focuses on clarity and it’s very easy to see where leads are, what triggers them, and how each step performs. The integrations feel reliable and onboarding was smooth. It just saves time.

Cons

There is a learning curve in the beginning if you come from simple email tools. Some advanced options could use more tooltips or examples. The template library could be bigger. Nothing major, but you need a little time to understand how everything works.

Switched from

[MailerLite](https://www.capterra.com/p/136603/MailerLite/)

It was pricey. I switched from MailerLite because I needed more flexibility with automation and lead flows. MailerLite worked for simple email campaigns, but it felt limited once my funnels got more complex. Encharge gives me more control and visibility over every step, which makes a huge difference.

### "Finally, a marketing automation tool that feels built for real workflows"

October 28, 2025

5.0

Building automations in Encharge feels natural. The visual flow builder is clean, fast, and actually logical — no endless clicking through menus or confusing branching rules like you find in Mailchimp. I can map out a full onboarding or nurture sequence in minutes, see the entire user journey in one view, and make edits instantly. The built-in form creation is another highlight. Instead of needing third-party integrations, I can spin up a branded form in minutes, connect it to any automation, and start collecting segmented data right away. Compared to Mailchimp, Encharge feels modern and flexible. There’s no wrestling with outdated interfaces or arbitrary limits. Every trigger, tag, and condition just works the way you expect. I can integrate with my website, CRM, and analytics stack in a few clicks — no duct tape needed. If you’re tired of forcing generic tools to fit your process, Encharge is a breath of fresh air. It gives you true control of your automations and makes email marketing something you can actually enjoy again.

Pros

Finally, a marketing automation tool that feels built for real workflows I’ve used nearly every automation and email tool out there, from Mailchimp to ActiveCampaign, and nothing has been as intuitive and powerful as Encharge.io. What sets it apart is how effortless it makes connecting forms, automations, and behavior-based email sequences — all without the clunky limitations I kept running into elsewhere.

Cons

I have not yet found any issues. The owner/developer is amazing for responding and replying to issues. He will always provide help and solutions for any issues you may find.

### "Simple automations that save me time"

September 20, 2025

5.0

Overall my experience has been very positive. Encharge helped me centralize my email marketing and reduced the need for multiple tools. I was able to set up automations faster than I expected and the platform feels reliable. It makes my daily work easier and gives me confidence that my emails are reaching people at the right time

Pros

What I like the most is how easy it is to create automation flows. I managed to connect my website sign-ups to email sequences without needing any technical skills. It really saves me time and keeps everything organized in one place

Cons

Sometimes it takes me a bit to find the exact option I need in the interface. It’s not a big problem, but a few menus could be more intuitive

### "Great for Little Business Owners Like Me"

December 15, 2025

5.0

Very satisfied. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I had a friend suggest a different scheduling program, but after getting to know this program (it only took a couple hours), I'm hooked.

Pros

I'd been looking for something to take the place of MailChimp for a while. When I came across Encharge, it checked all the boxes for me. Convenient and easy to use, integrates with what I already have set up, and responsive customer service. I run a small business, and Encharge is going to save me time by helping me to engage customers in meaningful ways without costing more of the most valuable asset anyone has: time. On top of helping me contact folks with ease, Encharge does all the tracking I need and offers A/B testing and more. If I put in the work upfront, it should help me make big leaps in the months and years to come. Highly recommend!

Cons

Honestly, I've yet to find a problem with Encharge. Once I got it set up, it works seamlessly. I'm sure there will be some downside that I'll come across eventually, but so far it's been smooth sailing.

### "A surprisingly powerful and intuitive automation tool"

December 2, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Encharge has been extremely positive. Setting everything up was effortless, and within a short time I had automated journeys, tagged segments, and my first email blast running smoothly. The platform encourages good legal practices for email marketing, which I appreciate. The analytics, segmentation options, and speed of the interface all impressed me. I came from tools where I constantly felt limited in tracking and personalization, and Encharge finally gives me everything I need without being overly complicated. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants powerful automation combined with ease of use.

Pros

What I like most about Encharge is how intuitive the entire platform feels. The flow builder is extremely smooth, and designing automated journeys takes almost no learning curve. Performance is excellent; everything loads quickly and feels well-optimized. The interface is clean and makes complex automation feel simple. I also appreciate the detailed analytics, which give me a clear view of funnel performance without overwhelming dashboards. Customer support has been excellent as well. They responded quickly when I had a question and guided me step-by-step with clear instructions. The overall value for money is outstanding considering the feature set.

Cons

Pros

### "One of the top email marketing automation platform"

June 19, 2021

5.0

We use Encharge to improve our accuracy and efficiency in our marketing communications. We input the data we get from several sources into the system and do segmenting and testing for best results. The numbers are improving and a part of it is because Encharge powerful tools.

Pros

There are two things I really like about Encharge. The first part is their automation sequence builder (aka flow builder) that comes with dozen of useful templates, and the second part is the many ready to use native integrations with market leading platforms such as hubspot, calendly, intercom, typeform, and integrators such as zapier, pabbly, and integrately.

Cons

There's a pretty high learning curve if one has little or no experience in email marketing automations. There are many parts to the puzzle that are required to set up and tweak to get things right. It also takes a lot of work to set up segmentations and sequences, especially when tracking visitors/users behaviors.

### "Great user experience and interface"

April 19, 2021

5.0

Overall, I find that the host of features that Encharge provides would cost you a lot more elsewhere. From the segmentation and tagging (most software will allow one or the other), combined with more advanced dynamic segmentation, Encharge is helping me communicate with my clients in a much more efficient way.

Pros

I was impressed with the software from the moment I logged in for the first time. Encharge asks for you for your website URL, and automatically brings in the favicon from your website to their own interface. and therefore giving seamless brand alignment. Yes it's a very minor feature, but the impression it gives is that the developers have put themselves in your shoes and thought about the user experience. The features of the software compare well against some of the high-end autoresponders out there. My personal favourite (until now) has been ActiveCampaign. However, Encharge trumps AC in terms of having a fairly smooth learning curve. Granted it helps that I'm familiar with building workflows with emails using conditions and delays etc. but Encharge is intuitive enough for the layman to pick up.

Cons

Honestly can't fault this software. Any time I've been a little unsure about how to do anything, the tutorials have been extremely helpful and the support team are very quick to respond.

### "Marketing automation for a content creator"

May 7, 2021

5.0

Pros

I really love the ability to setup flows for each of our customers to go through based upon certain parameters. We have different teired private memberships, where we want to give specific messages to. Encharge allows us to hit the right person with the right email at the right time. Welcoming people to our brand if they are new, and helping someone who may have shown interest more of our brand or pieces of the brand that will make them become believers. Lastly, to our dedicated fans, we are able to hit them with messaging that makes them feel like they are a part of it already, instead of on the outside. If you are just doing big email blasts, you are putting everyone together... honestly pretty lame. Encharge gives us this ability at a price we can manage which is HUGE for up and coming content creators. Thanks!

Cons

There is definatley a learning curve. The other thing... you have to have your brand together to implement a tool like this. This isn't specific to Encharge I'm sure it the same for other marketing automation software but for us getting it off the ground is proving to be a challenge simply because we don't have our ducks in a row yet as an organization.

### "Encharge Surges Your Email Marketing"

April 26, 2025

4.0

A.I. SaaS companies are booming in 2025 and finding a email provider that can maximize my marketing efforts is important. I'm having a great experience using Encharge so far that I will definitely recommend and will use as well for my clients.

Pros

I like how Encharge leverages SendGrid + AWS for premium email deliverability plus they manage your emails sending so they monitor & switch email servers to maintain high deliverability and i don't have to connect any email provider to start sending my campaigns making super convenient for new & experienced users. I haven't seen any other platform providing this much value so that my email marketing efforts will be effective and not landing in spam. Especially with their email validator.

Cons

I don't like how the events feature & transactional emails are on the premium plan leaving SaaS owners to choose the premium plan just to get started. Also, not having the ability to replace the dashboard logo to be able to use Encharge as a agency allowing me to manage multiple accounts to under my branding.

Pros

Cons

### "The tool I was waiting for, recommended!"

May 7, 2025

Easy to use, very happy with this product and very surprised with all the things it offers related to automations and integrations.

Pros

I am very happy with Encharge, I have been testing it for the past month and I am positively surprised. I have used many different platforms in the past (I implement tools for my clients), and I can seriously say this is one of the best I have tried. It is easy to understand and very powerful.I like the way I can see the sequences, and the flexibility to edit the emails, even when the sequence was already published. It also has an email warming feature that was a nice surprise, my audience received my email campaign without any issues. I also tested the integration with Google sheets and that worked perfectly well. I tested it with Pabbly and other tools, and overall I am very happy with it, it was easy to integrate as they have a lot of documentation. The support is also very responsive. I can highly recommend it.

Cons

### "My Experience with Encharge"

April 3, 2021

5.0

I signed up, finished the procedure, logged in and I was welcomed to a first onboarding page with a brief video introduction to walking me through the Encharge with ease-in experience. It is an excellent impression. A lot of SaaS tools skip this part of an educational and good onboarding experience of the product in action which leads to lots of confusion and therefore more load on the support team. The comprehensive walkthrough is quite extensive with all the attributes covered and offers a fair suggestion of the item all at once. Then comes the page to start importing my contact with 2 options and their samples! great. You can either import Excel or CSV data with relevant headers. In addition to that, you have more possibilities while importing the contacts, fields, tags, etc. which makes it very valuable if you have already established a lot of tags for your contacts and listings in your existing CRM solution or any other email marketing automation app. The next step is to connect your contact with so many application "Natively" if you want to use it together with Encharge, it's all about your marketing strategy and how you get used to working or your client used to your marketing style. For me the native integration with MailChimp, Slack as well as HubSpot were the ones I was looking for, however, I was additionally excited with the Webhook's abilities and the availability of a lot of the platforms and tools that I can connect to Encharge.

Pros

Plenty of ready-made templates to start with, for me it was very easy to begin utilizing "Capture Leads with Lead Magnet and send out Support Sequence" one, but I was under the impression that the Encharge team created the templates just to give me the first step and then the limit is the sky, I believe Encharge users will feel the same too. Great stuff all around this platform with unlimited emails!, this is insane!, Encharge not only created a magnificent product but they also impressed with the "guiding our customers" mentality while working in the UI/UX. This is a big certainly a big motivation to avoid unnecessary huge monthly bills from similar product with less features!. I was pleased when I received the email from Appsumo that Encharge is there with an amazing and affordable price, which definitely will cut down my monthly bills with alternative tools I am using

Cons

Encharge is still new and users will need to wait a bit for more integration to come.

Reason for choosing Encharge

They're simply closing a big gap which other tools are not for a long time, they're also solving many problems I am facing and opening a big room for improving my business. I reviewed the product accurately and found it the best solution I need for my business to grow. I am pleased with this product.

### "Powerful, delightful to use, next generation email & marketing automation tool"

May 1, 2021

5.0

TRUE email and marketing automation through advanced flows, tagging, segmentation. It's a huge relief from using dated tools like Mailchimp. Visual FLOW builder allows me to really visualize and understand the whole flow. And it's all in one, instead of using a 3rd party flowchart tool to draw, and map out the flow through some obscure process like in other tools, this is truly the 1 tool that I need.

Pros

1) Powerful "Flows" - very customizable flows which allows one to have multiple conditions, parallel pathways, allow multiple or single sends. 2) Powerful integrations - this is the secret sauce of Encharge, and why it's the next generation tool in my mind. It integrates with external tools like Hubspot CRM, Facebook Custom Audiences. It becomes your marketing automation stack, which is what I really dreamt of. While more integrations are coming on that are on my wish list, this is really what I want to invest in. 3) Advanced Segmentation & easy Tagging: As part of flows, it's easier to tag users, recognizing which form or opt in they came from, which campaign they are tied to, what downloads they did, what pages they landed on. Combined with segments, one can send out tailored messages. 4) Onboarding: I'm impressed by the onboarding emails received to really get one up to speed. This is an advanced tool, and it's really important to get users acquainted with the features. That being said, the user experience is really easy once you know what to look for. I'll advise users to think about their marketing flow, before creating them in Encharge.

Cons

Much to like. Below are my wishlist for improvements: 1. Google sheets integration: Not only just to add users, but adding of attributes to existing users in Encharge. For example, I may have many subscribers, but I maintain a list of "paid customers" in Google Sheets, with different products bought, subscription period. I'll like to just update Google Sheets, and have this updated in google sheets. 2. Hubspot 2 way sync: on a similar thread, to have Encharge recognize all attributes from Hubspot, and not just email address, on a live refresh basis. If this is already available I apologize, but this will be a winner! 3. Other CRM integrations like SalesFlare 4. Opt In forms: HTML forms are on the way, but I'll like direct integration from various common tools like Thrive Leads for Wordpress, Brizy Cloud. Yes this is dependent on these 3rd party providers, but getting subscribers INTO Encharge is a key success criteria.

### "A solid choice for intuitive email building and automation"

May 18, 2021

5.0

I’m really pleased I found Encharge. I have used quite a few email marketing apps with various levels of automation, from the popular inexpensive choices to a few enterprise solutions. All have pluses and minuses. From my use of Encharge so far I would say it compares well to any of those I have used. Overall I find Encharge to be an amazing value and a great choice for what I intend to use it for: automating low volume email campaigns and integrating with other apps for marketing automation, fulfillment and tracking. I think it’s a great choice already, and the roadmap indicates it will keep getting better.

Pros

The email building options are great, with a choice of approaches available. There’s a clean and simple editor and a well thought out drag and drop builder. I usually use templates I’ve developed separately and adapt them to the ESP I’m using, which is also easy to do with Encharge. The automation flows are very nicely implemented. It’s very fluid and intuitive to build, and far more straightforward than some of the tools I have used. Segmentation and triggering capabilities are at least as good as any of them. There are almost unlimited ways to integrate campaigns with other apps, either through integration services like Zapier, through direct hookups with a list of specific apps, and through an API. Deliverability is a key concern. I gave up on a self hosted email application because it was just too much work to police deliverability issues on my own server. One or two of the services I’ve used were not that great for deliverability, though the enterprise oriented products are excellent – they have to be. Encharge is set up to be excellent in the deliverability area, and they make it clear they will not allow the service to be degraded by poor reputation senders, so I expect it to stay that way.

Cons

So far I have found a few small quirks, like the editor not working in the older version of Safari I have on one machine (Chrome is fine though), and a strange organization of some settings under the cryptic account section, rather in the settings section where you might actually look for them. Minor issues compared to the overall functionality.

### "Encharge is a game-changer in the Email Automation industry!"

April 6, 2021

5.0

Overall, I love Encharge and what they offer for this pricing. It's a great and powerful tool for anyone looking to automate their emails to their students, subscribers, users.

Pros

1\. Encharge integrates really well with its existing partners (I use Swipe Pages) and Zapier. This is powerful, in my opinion, to keep automation live. 2. They use Sendgrid and AWS for email deliverability. This is robust infrastructure talking. My emails got delivered really well in my usage and it's lightning-fast! 3. Their pricing is quite competitive as well. For 2000 subscribers they offer $49 plan. For the powerful automation + unlimited emails + unlimited broadcasts + unlimited flows + free email verification and validation, this is a steal. 4. A separate toast for the free email verification that they throw in for any level and plan. 5. Tags can be used to segment and create lists of subscribers. This has been easy to set up and powerful in using within automation flows. I created a flow within an hour that had 5-day drip content as a mini-course - fully automated to anyone who downloads my lead magnet. Talk about ease of use and time savings!

Cons

Emails can be reused in different flows but quite naively (like me) if you alter anything within any of such emails, it affects all the flows. Makes sense, but I learned it the hard way. This might improve in the future.

### "Easy to use, but webhook system makes it very powerful"

June 11, 2021

5.0

Experience has been good. Easy to get going. Haven't found any bugs. Onboarding emails are from co-founder and he responded personally to my reply which is a good sign.

Pros

1\. Flows are really simple to set up and use 2. Emails are easy to design for both desktop and mobile. I have a particular look and feel I like for mine that it normally takes an absolute age to get set up on other systems (and usually needs me to revert to an html editor). On Encharge it took a few minutes once I'd figured out my way around. 3. The webhook system is very powerful and allows direct integration with a whole host of tools without needing middleware like Zapier. At first it seems like integration is a bit sparse since it doesn't have the big list of direct integrations that more established email systems have. But it turns out that the webhooks are very powerful. I integrated it directly with Memberpress in a couple of minutes. With other systems I've needed to use Zapier and the integration has been distinctly flaky. With Encharge it was up and running fast and worked really well. For other integrations you can use Zapier, Integrately or Pabbly.

Cons

Even though the webhook system works well for both triggers and actions, I do think more direct integrations would be useful. Some tools work better with a direct API connection. Convertbox comes to mind as a tool which can show different forms based on the tags that visitors have in systems like Active Campaign or Convertkit. That can't be done with Encharge right now because the integration is a more basic one-way one via webhooks.

### "Just the tool I needed."

May 18, 2021

5.0

Pros

I wanted to write my review after testing the product for a while and getting to know all its features. Finally, the result has been very positive, and I have totally migrated to the tool. At first, I contemplated it as a complementary utility, since I was attracted by its automation system, but then I realized that it is much more than that and fulfilled everything I needed perfectly. I must say that after a few weeks and some campaigns, I am happy with my tool change and with using Encharge. Some of the points that stand out and I have liked the most are: - Your drag and drop builder seems perfect to me. Complete and powerful enough, but keeping the ease of use and simplicity. - Its integrations with other applications are very complete, and you will find everything you need. - Its automation system is incredibly visual and easy to use and learn. - The support and extra material they provide is very complete and very useful. - The platform and its design are very well taken care of, it is pleasant, easy to navigate and very stable. I have definitely had a good experience and I recommend this platform to anyone who is starting out in marketing automation or needs a good platform to send their emails.

Cons

I think that the tool can still improve in its manual sending section, since it is very oriented to automations. Something that would be important to add is the issue of subscription forms on websites or pop-ups.

### "Finally, software that was made for the normal human entrepreneur"

April 5, 2021

5.0

Pros

Domain authentication for use with any mailer/ newsletter software application has always been a bugbear for all of us who are not hardcore geeks. We have our websites, want to communicate with our clients - all the technical bit in between about how the internet works is not our priority (and really shouldn't be!!) All these years, that bit - the creation of DNS records to authenticate the domain - has been shrouded in mystery and hidden in layers of more and more technical jargon. When setting up Encharge, right at the start, I breathed a sigh of relief, when all my DNS records were generated and spelled out to me - what to create, what values. And not just that - the lovely people at Encharge have error checking in place that actually considered the autocomplete feature in cpanel, and that some of us may be using Cloudflare, and reminded me to turn off proxying for these records. Domains verified overnight. Did not have to involve a condescending IT person, was not patronised.

Cons

None yet :-) mean to keep it that way. I know it is early days and I just started using the application - but this first step proved to me that you are thinking like me. Thanks a million, keep up the good work.
