I haven't upgraded my Shopify plan because I honestly like their reports more than Shopifys. Pros I can always count on Better Reports to reach out either same day or by the next day. Communication is always top notch and if they need more clarification they send a detailed email and or a video showing what they need. They are also great to work with! Cons I truly can't think of anything that I don't like about Better Reports. They have helped me within hours of each time that I need assistance on a custom report. Switched from [Shopify](https://www.capterra.com/p/83891/Shopify/) I made the switch because they limit you on what you can do in their basic subscription. I honestly think you should always be able to view your live inventory in all subscriptions in Shopify, but they have to make money somewhere I guess. Better Reports is more affordable and I'm sure will always be easier to use. They had the best reports, and you could filter them for exactly what you need. Now with Better Reports, I can get the same info. Pros Shopify is wonderful in so many ways, but their reporting is lacking. Better Reports has helped me get the information I need. The new sales tax reports from Shopify are long and confusing, I could not see the amounts I needed to report. I emailed the help desk and within hours had the correct info in a "made for me" sales tax report. It actually is easier to read than Shopify's old report. Cons I haven't had a Con yet. I of course wish the information I need was included in my Shopify monthly charge, however if you need the info in order to make correct business decisions, $39.90 a month is worth it. I love the team, I love how quick they are, and how much they understand the data - not just how to format, but also what answers I'm looking to solve with the reports I'm creating. I use Better Reports for all my clients and consider it the best in class for reporting. Pros The people! It's so refreshing to talk to real analysts, not just robots. The team is incredibly fast to respond (within hours if not minutes), and they are always able to solve my problems, provide solutions, and create some really complex reports. Cons There's really nothing I don't like! My one wish is for an option to view historical inventory, but that's not a feature Shopify offers. More of a con on Shopify than better reports. Cons Sometimes with so many choices it can be hard to narrow it down and figure out how to make a specific report however customer service always helps me immediately in these situations. Cons It would be nice to have a feature that a report can't be modified except by the person that created it. Like have a save as feature if someone wants to piggy-back off of another report. Cons Inability to append data to the same sheet. It's easily remedied with a script but would be nice. This was my first shopify add-on and probably the biggest value-add so far. My finance team relies on it and the only times it lets them down, it's an issue with shopify, not Better Reports. Pros \[sensitive content hidden\] Seriously- the product is great and makes extracting data from shopify much easier, but the support team is the shining cherry on top- they usually get back to me faster than the monthly fee would suggest, and are always pleasant, clear, and helpful! Cons My only real issues lie more with the shopify webhook- some values are estimates due to how shopify exposes their data. Once I understood that, things have become easier to work with. I'm very happy with the product. Pros Better Reports is my go-to reporting solution for Shopify. It offers far more flexibility than Shopify’s built-in reporting tools, making it easy to pivot and aggregate data. I rely on several of their reports daily. However, what truly sets them apart is their exceptional support team. Their response times are often same-day, and they’ve never failed to fulfill a request. They even go the extra mile by creating custom explainer videos to walk through their solutions. The combination of powerful reporting and outstanding support makes this app an invaluable tool. Cons I have yet to encounter something I don't like about the app. So far, they've been able to fulfill every request.
