Pros I like the email on access with IP address. I think that helps protect unauthorized access. Cons Download process on files into a web link, then a zip file, then to PC, then to unzipped format is still a bit time consuming and irritating. Should be easier just to download files directly to a designated PC folder without going through the zip file stuff in the middle. I would recommend it for the improvement support of PM tasks Pros The follow-up of the tasks –asignee, start, due date, comments option– and the progress panel Cons The timeline panel. It is just possible to have a monthly view of the project, while other platforms offer a year view of the project. The fact that is just possible to see the monthly tasks make that panel not very comprehensible and insightful. It is hands down the best I’ve come across thus far Pros The functionality was the best I’ve come across, having used 10+ different data sites in the past. Having the document request list integrated to the data room was a big help. Cons No complaints, I even enjoyed interacting with the customer service people. Folders are easy to navigate and it is easy to determine which documents have been viewed. These little time-saving features help make the software itself fade into the background and allow deal work to take center-stage, which is exactly what a data room should do. Cons Occasional login issues; but otherwise a very smooth operation. It was easy to navigate and find things easily which was important to us. Pros Documents were easy to find, well organized, very accessible. Using software was easy and required zero training or experience. Cons No major complaints. Because I used it weekly instead of daily, finding my login information each time was a bit of a pain, but that is more "user error" than anything else. Secure, everything is logged. Good notifications Cons When I get a notification that a document has been updated, I cannot drill back upstream into the data room. Best I've ever used in this regard. Pros I'm not the most tech-savvy person. The Dealroom was extremely easy to log in, access and find the documents I needed immediately. And downloading the documents to print was also very intuitive and simple. Cons None. There were no negative aspects to the Dealroom in my opinion.
