Pros Very useful and professional controls for ASP.Core and .NET Maui App development. Good documentation and outstanding customer support, which usually responds within 24 hours and usually provides code for the suggested solutions. Cons Updates are relatively frequent, so you should always check you're using the latest versions. However, these contain important improvements and extensions. Updates to new .NET versions are also released promptly. Syncfusion helps me build applications faster, and I like that I can rely on their support when I get stuck. It gives me a wide range of controls that work well in real projects, and the licensing cost feels fair for what you get. Pros I really like that Syncfusion makes development faster. The controls are easy to set up, and the sample projects save a lot of time. The documentation and demos are clear, and I can usually find what I need quickly. It has a lot of features all in one place, which makes my work easier. Cons The support team is great, the help is detailed, but sometimes it takes a while to learn all the options, because the toolkit is so big. Styling the controls to match our company’s design required extra steps. I also noticed that after updates, I sometimes have to adjust my code to match new changes. It is a popular choice for enterprise apps because it supports heavy data handling, drag-and-drop, and various views (Day, Week, Month, Timeline, etc.) out of the box. The Syncfusion "Pure React" version of the Scheduler, built entirely with functional components and hooks for even better performance. Pros I integrated React Scheduler into my app.. Here are some useful key features Multiple View Modes: Includes standard views plus Timeline views (horizontal orientation) and Year views. Resource Grouping: Assign appointments to specific people, rooms, or equipment and view them side-by-side. Data Binding: Seamlessly connects to local JSON or remote REST services (via OData, Web API, etc.) using the DataManager. Customization: You can use Templates to completely redesign how events, cells, or the date header look using standard JSX. Recurring Events: Built-in support for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly recurrences with exception handling. Cons Integrating DaisyUI (and Tailwind CSS) with the Syncfusion Scheduler is a bit of a "clash of worlds." Syncfusion uses a Shadow DOM-like structure with its own deep CSS classes, whereas DaisyUI relies on utility classes applied directly to elements. Also pretty comprehensive, Essential seems to cover a wide range of functionality related to components e.g. menu's, toolbars, embedded components etc. This helps users to easily navigate and gain a good presentation of their underlying information on which decisions can be based. Pros The comprehensive nature of user components (e.g. grid) and ease of application when linking to a datasource i.e. Json. Your guide too is detailed and complete making application very easy to implement. Cons Actually Like everything about Essential Studio however there are some issues around sorting and grouping especially when trying to reference data on rows/ datasets - this does not always return the correct data. Cons There is some updating that would be helpful as some of the documentation between Essential Studio and other areas of the website can be slightly different. Pros A fantastic suite of charts and graphs, very well docuemnted which is very good for humans and AI tools alike. Customisation was a breeze and had just the right level needed, not too granular and not broad. Cons Very few cons to be honest. In my opinion, It's better compared to other UI lib or framework counterpart out there such as PrimeNG, Angular Material (Syncfusion provides a bit more). Pros \- Covers mostly UI need for web/mobile app (Angular/React - cross-platform) & desktop as well, saving a lot of development time compared to building custom controls/components. - Pretty good on performance, optimized for enterprise use, with efficient handling of large dataset and native rendering. - Good customer support. They provide sample code tailored to customer's resolve issues. - Free community license. Cons \- Angular specific issues (my company's based Angular framework). The Syncfusion UI Angular component have been written low/need-improvement code quality or logic compared to React or .NET counterparts, making complex customizations harder. We are having a positive experience working with it. Pros We had several different requirements for our project, and Syncfusion Essential Studio was the one that covered all of them. Cons Some of the components had some limitations which needed working around, or needed waiting for updates for their bugs to get fixed. We're a small team building a Blazor-based business management system, and Syncfusion has let us deliver features that would otherwise require a lot more development time. The components work really well straight out of the box. We've been using it for soon to be a year now and it's become a core part of our stack. Pros The large amounts of components means we rarely need to look elsewhere. For our Blazor application, the data grids, scheduling components, and document handling tools have been really helpful. Everything feels cohesive and works well together. The documentation is thorough. So far we have not made use of the support, so cannot say what times are there. Cons The initial learning curve can be a bit steep given how many options and configuration possibilities there are. Sometimes finding the exact property or approach you need takes several tries. Pros I only used the document processing and file conversion feature of the studio in ASP .Net Core and it works like a charm. There's a lot of customization specially with PDF file processing. Cons Every update breaks something, and when you reach the support they try to blame you even if you provide example code of their fault. Only after explaining things multiple times eventually they try to fix issues in future updates, breaking something else. Pros The complete set of components for Blazor WASM that I extended in order to fits my needs avoiding repetitive tasks and code. Cons Sometimes it is hard to understand the behavior of the components without decompiling the sources with Visual Studio.
