They even provide free\* enterprise key as long as you qualify to their set parameters. Pros I only used the document processing and file conversion feature of the studio in ASP .Net Core and it works like a charm. There's a lot of customization specially with PDF file processing. Cons None for my use case since It was only focused on the document processing and file conversions. I might try other features in the future. We are having a positive experience working with it. Pros We had several different requirements for our project, and Syncfusion Essential Studio was the one that covered all of them. Cons Some of the components had some limitations which needed working around, or needed waiting for updates for their bugs to get fixed. It saved me significant development time, the controls work reliably, and support resources are generally helpful. I'd recommend it to other MAUI developers looking for a mature component library. Pros I've used Syncfusion's .NET MAUI controls and they've been a solid addition to my project. The components are well-documented, easy to integrate, and cover a wide range of UI needs that would otherwise take a lot of time to build from scratch. Performance has been good across platforms, and the API feels consistent and predictable. The community license also makes it very accessible for individual developers and small teams to get started. Cons Some of the controls have a steeper learning curve than expected, and certain advanced customization scenarios required digging deeper into the documentation or sample projects than I would have liked. In my opinion, It's better compared to other UI lib or framework counterpart out there such as PrimeNG, Angular Material (Syncfusion provides a bit more). Pros \- Covers mostly UI need for web/mobile app (Angular/React - cross-platform) & desktop as well, saving a lot of development time compared to building custom controls/components. - Pretty good on performance, optimized for enterprise use, with efficient handling of large dataset and native rendering. - Good customer support. They provide sample code tailored to customer's resolve issues. - Free community license. Cons \- Angular specific issues (my company's based Angular framework). The Syncfusion UI Angular component have been written low/need-improvement code quality or logic compared to React or .NET counterparts, making complex customizations harder. Couple time, I had to switch to use other UI lib such as Angular Material to finish my project features. - Learning curve for complex/advance customization. - Licensing Costs. Also pretty comprehensive, Essential seems to cover a wide range of functionality related to components e.g. menu's, toolbars, embedded components etc. This helps users to easily navigate and gain a good presentation of their underlying information on which decisions can be based. Pros The comprehensive nature of user components (e.g. grid) and ease of application when linking to a datasource i.e. Json. Your guide too is detailed and complete making application very easy to implement. Cons Actually Like everything about Essential Studio however there are some issues around sorting and grouping especially when trying to reference data on rows/ datasets - this does not always return the correct data. In my business app a fluid UI and a proficent data entry is mandatory, so my requirements of a complete set of components (not only editors and grids, but also scheduling and PDF management) where met. Pros The complete set of components for Blazor WASM that I extended in order to fits my needs avoiding repetitive tasks and code. Cons Sometimes it is hard to understand the behavior of the components without decompiling the sources with Visual Studio. Overall, they saved a significant amount of development time compared to building complex UI components from scratch. Cons Every update breaks something, and when you reach the support they try to blame you even if you provide example code of their fault. Only after explaining things multiple times eventually they try to fix issues in future updates, breaking something else. They have a lot of usefull components and an excellent support on them. If you're looking for an extensive component library I would sure recommend looking at this. Pros Support is excellent. When reporting problems the response is fast and they actively work towards a solution. A lot of functionality is offered that works on multiple platforms (I use asp.net, wpf, maui). Online documentation is excelent with clear examples. Cons Only small conn might be stability. Since I use it I've stumbled onto several issues in the components. But as mentioned in the Pros the support team always fixed them in a couple of days. Cons There's always more that can be added to a suite of products, but I find with the nature of javascript and how abstract yet refined of an approach Syncfusion takes, much more can be navigated and achieved.
