Support is proactive and frequent updates keep the suite improving. Pros Essential Studio offers a huge collection of high-quality controls with reliable performance and great documentation. The technical support is fast and helpful, making integration into .NET projects smooth even for advanced features. They have a lot of usefull components and an excellent support on them. If you're looking for an extensive component library I would sure recommend looking at this. Pros Support is excellent. When reporting problems the response is fast and they actively work towards a solution. A lot of functionality is offered that works on multiple platforms (I use asp.net, wpf, maui). Online documentation is excelent with clear examples. Cons Only small conn might be stability. Since I use it I've stumbled onto several issues in the components. It is so bad that as an organization we don't feel we can proceed with Syncfusion in our app and we are exploring other options. Pros The controls work with Maui. I really can't say much more. Cons PDF Viewer has a major "Look and Feel" bug that on IOS devices causes it to mangle the Icons on the toolbar upon first rotation to horizontal. It does fix itself just by rotating again, but this is not the experience I want in my app. It makes it look very amateurish. The components are rich, flexible, and well-documented. Integration into my existing Angular projects was smooth, and the support provided has been effective when needed. I appreciate the frequent updates and continuous improvements. Overall, it’s a reliable and robust toolkit. Pros The fact it's partially opensource, that it's a very good and complete tool. July 14, 2025 4.0 We have used Essential Studio for around 15 years. Syncfusion's support team are generally responsive and understand our requirements, providing solutions in a timely manner. Essential Studio represents excellent value for money. Pros Wide range of UI components across a range of platforms. We especially like their grids and extensions to common Windows controls. Cons As with all software, there have been a few bugs over the years. However, these are dealt with relatively quickly. Workarounds are often provided in the meantime. Review Source MJ Michael J. Ej2 has been such a reliable and well supported framework for front end javascript solutions. We are very thankful for their services. Cons There's always more that can be added to a suite of products, but I find with the nature of javascript and how abstract yet refined of an approach Syncfusion takes, much more can be navigated and achieved. Alternatives considered [Telerik Reporting](https://www.capterra.com/p/196214/Telerik-Reporting/) Reason for choosing Essential Studio Syncfusion was better supported since they clearly have a well structured and engineered product that is both up to date and looks fantastic. Switched from [Telerik Reporting](https://www.capterra.com/p/196214/Telerik-Reporting/) Their products, although they have modern features, their sourcebase has become so spaghettified and unmanageable with so many bugs and quirks to work around. Also the many platforms it supports is quite unique. Pros Apart from its vary varied set of objects, the support is as good as it gets, both is terms of expertise as well as patience. Cons 1 charts do often not allow access to underlying numerical results. E.g. vaeious regressions do not give access to the resuting regression parameters. Box-whisker plots do not give access to the stats of the plotted results. 2 The documentation is often hard to navigate. Understandable with a very rich package of objects, but it results in a stronger dependants on support. Great that they offer community licenses for startups! Pros I use the .NET MAUI components. I haven’t noticed any bugs with their components ever, except when there are bugs on the underlying framework. What I like most is, that they actually started to help the .NET MAUI Team improve the framework. This is awesome! Cons Syncfusions CollectionViews still have similar performance issues like MAUI’s especially on iOS where jittering appears when a bit more complex DataTemplates are used. There are definitely bugs around reusing DataTemplates and calculating dynamic heights which cause jumps during scrolling. Would love to see that fixed :) When upgrading to new major updates it’s a bit annoying to have to renew the app key but it’s understandable and doesn’t happen too often, so it’s not a deal breaker. The support team is the best. They have outstand documentation and how to videos. Syncfusion tools make development quick and easy. Pros I had an application that required an accordion, it was the critical piece. I was new to Maui at the time. I found that Syncfusion had a tool that did what I needed. This was going to be much less effort than writing it from scratch. I worked with their Community support team to get the exact code that I needed working. They provided sample code that allowed me to build my code. There response is lightning quick. I decided to use DataForm, DataGrid and Popup so far. DataGrid was key to the 2nd most import part of my App, reporting. I planned 3 days. With DataGrid I wrote my LINQ and added a couple grouping lines in the page and I had a report that was well beyond what I expected to deliver to the user. They are an A+ partner.
