It is easy to use and provides complex features. My favorite is the excel like data grid with options to filter, sort and group my data easily. Pros Development is very easy and the features are exactly what is missing in the standard react components library. Cons There is nothing that I miss. Everything is very helpful. I have used many of the tools and sometimes change my UI implementation based on the tools I know and sometimes based on a new approach provided by a tool. The component coverage and support are impressive, but I hope to see modernization in the codebase soon to align with current best practices. Pros As a customer using React Components, I appreciate the extensive library—nearly 90 components available out of the box. This eliminates the need to rely on other studios or external libraries. The customer support is outstanding. Responses to tickets are prompt and helpful, making the experience smooth and reassuring. The components are responsive and generally easy to integrate. Cons The underlying code for many components appears to be based on class components, which feels outdated compared to modern React standards that favor functional components and hooks. I’ve reached out to customer support regarding this, and while they acknowledged the concern and mentioned updates are underway, the transition to newer coding practices is still pending. The controls have worked across platforms without major issues and upgrades are relatively painless. Pros Essential studio had a very well documented and robust set of controls. The support team was always able to address questions same-day. Cons I haven't really found many downsides of essential studio. I have implemented it in one of my startups and I am very happy with what I got. Cons I cant think about anything really which I wouldn't like - maybe it will come later with use. Cons Documentation, samples -- not very straightforward to work out how to use the suite. To be clear -- have worked with both DevEx and SF; and generic grids are heavily featured (for so many use-cases) and very complex. Pros The suite of tools is extensive and well documented. If there is something you are trying to do the chances are that Syncfusion has a tool for that as well as ample examples of how to use it.
