Overall, my experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator has been very positive and helpful in my day to day work. I’ve used it extensively for B2B prospecting, identifying key stakeholders, and list building target accounts across ERP focused organizations. It has significantly improved the quality of prospect research and helped make outreach more personalized as prospects can view your profile when reviewing your introductory message. Once you become familiar with the platform, it becomes a very powerful tool for pipeline generation, relationship building, and sales development.

Pros

What I liked most about LinkedIn Sales Navigator is how effective it is for searching and targeting specific stakeholders in B2B sales. The integration with CRM platforms like HubSpot and the ability to save leads and accounts helps streamline prospecting workflows and improves cold outreach productivity. One feature I especially like is the buying intent insights, which help identify companies that may already be showing interest or engagement related to your company or solution, making prospecting more targeted and strategic.

Cons

One downside for me personally is that the workflow between LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the main LinkedIn platform can sometimes feel disconnected. I would prefer if Sales Navigator and LinkedIn were more fully consolidated into a single experience, as I often have to switch back and forth between the two platforms to perform tasks like messaging prospects or viewing profiles.

The ease of search and ability for our reps to make lead lists and manage their prospects right within the tool is key to our GTM process

Cons

The admin work of onboarding reps tends to run into errors with validations and user identity checks. This doesn't happen often, but when it does, we can have onboarding reps locked out of the tool for days which hinders our ability to ramp them fast.

Sometimes it's not easy to use. Too many things, too many options, and search filters make it quite difficult to find what you are looking for. But it's something it could be handled with practice and patience

Cons

It would be great if LinkedIn Sales Navigator integrated directly with Salesforce so that you can save lead lists. There is a manual way to do this but a direct integration would be much easier.

Cons

I use linkedIn Sales Navigator on a daily basis, and ever since I've started I noticed a much higher retention and acquisition of my prospects, especially larger companies.

Pros

How clean, well designed, and effective the membership and tools are on LinkedIn. The site has gotten so busy with daily traffic, that it's hard to catch the attention of individuals or keep track of them. This solves both, easily.

Cons

The price per month is quite high for what it offers, and managing two tabs is a bit clunky. It would be nice to have the option for some services to be a widget vs a whole other page.

We use it for new cold outreach prospecting

Pros

The integrations with our other apps in our sales tech stack saved hours a day wasted on data entry and research. My production of new cold outreach per day jumped from under 100 to 500 everyday.

Cons

The filters are based on answers that were given when profile is set up by the member so the results are not always accurate because individuals answer questions under different bias or classify themselves differently/wrong/leave blank. The results of searches can be frustrating.

Pros

All of the things, whether it is maintenance of leads/accounts or any other data or even prospecting over different industries and geographies at just a click of a button. Helps to reach a larger segment of the market, helps find the right prospects and increases conversions and reach out at th right time to them. Additionally, you can combine the usage with different existing sales tools to enhance the experience to another level for a sales guy.

Cons

Some mid tier/ companies in remote locations sometimes might not contain the relevant information for prospects part of that industry/organization

Good platform but very expensive. Also, it does not provide instant results. It takes time to build credibility with prospects through continuous engagement and then get business results.

Pros

This is the best tool to find, reach and build digital engagement with the target audience. It's very productive for B2B businesses like ours who do a lot of targeted and segmented marketing. It provides great business results just after Google Adwords. - We use it for business development and getting qualified leads - It provides a global database of key decision-makers of companies. - We create lists of our prospects for better nurturing - Very effective for engagement and networking - Helps in targetted marketing & order conversion

Cons

It is very expensive. There's no customer support available from LinkedIn Team over the Phone. We need to raise tickets for any issues & they take their own time to provide resolution. They must provide support through Chat & Phone Calls also. Most of the contact numbers & email ids are personal and at many times inmail message sent to prospects through the Sales Navigator tool goes unnoticed and unread.

Reason for choosing LinkedIn Sales Navigator

We use the combination of both Google Adwords and LinkedIn Sales Navigator in our lead generation marketing

### "I expected more"

I rarely use it because it just isn't giving me value. Part of it is that LinkedIn has become a known ground for salespeople, so when a "client" is on there, they kind of know salespeople are hunting them -- that makes it hard for good salespeople and/or real opportunities to shine through, even if you find the right person. I've found the company "insights" aren't insightful. It's just a list of how they've grown in headcount, what they've posted, etc. - and there's nothing advantageous about the information.

Pros

The obvious best part of this tool is that it's part of LinkedIn, so it is inherently connected to the largest business networking community on the planet. For my uses, this means 90%+ (estimated) of the folks I'm looking for are on the platform, and over 50% are active and now that I have unlimited search, it's a big step up from the free version.

Cons

There are a few things I don't like: 1. Even when someone is a second connection, I often can't see how I am connected to them - that's no help to me. 2. The filters Sales Nav has are relegated to LinkedIn fields, so filtered searches don't actually give me much more than I can do in the standard LI interface 3. You can't cross lead and account searches - to find, for example, the VP of HR in $500M+ US-based companies (which would be useful!) 4. It's reliant on your prospect being active/staying up to date on LinkedIn

Reason for choosing LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Mostly because of the name. We have some executives that swear by LinkedIn and use their networks a great deal, so it seemed natural to layer this into the arsenal.
