I had questions and the education coordinator jumped on a zoom call with me and showed me tips and tools that were beyond what I'd imagined possible. Pros Super easy to set up and start using. I sent a test video to a client the first day I used the software and this client who had issues scheduling previously, followed the call to action, and set an appointment on my calendar. Tutorials are good and easy to follow. UI is excellent. Cons A few of the more advanced tools for personalizing and branding my videos are in submenus. These were hard to find at first. I also love the ability to receive videos from people. Cons I've had a handful of issues where sendspark didn't record the video and asked me to retry it which it never does. I've had to download the video and upload to vimeo and send which is a pain. " February 9, 2026 1.0 No customer support for there mistakes, and no refunds The main recordings using the web browsers had a known issue affecting users, its was within the first week of membership for a year. The support staff told me it was an issue and they updated last friday. I wish they would keep users updated prior to filming so we have a chance of saving our work. Pros If you know there is an issue with your software why would you let your users know, and let us know when the update is coming out... That way we can plan around and avoid these problems. The bottom line they wont help with refund, and I cant use the software as intended. Cons I had an issue with their chrome extension, customer service, and they dont let you know when its down. Waist your time with "support" just let people know its down. Please layout all the integrations for each tier its hidden. Sendspark sounds great on paper, but the tech simply is not there. The software performs poorly and did not work as promised, even when I used it exactly according to their recommended guidelines, which they later tried to use as an excuse. Key limitations are not clearly disclosed before purchase. You only discover them after you have paid. I requested a refund within 48 hours and had used almost none of my allowance. They refused and kept my money for a product that does not do what they claim. There is no free trial, which says a lot. If people could test it first, most would not buy. Looking at other reviews, this is a pattern, not a one-off. Take your money elsewhere. Even if the product improves, their treatment of customers makes them impossible to trust. Pros Very few pros. The idea is good but everything else is absolutely horrendous. Please stay away from this company. Cons The product is horrible, the customer service is even worse. They don't have a free trial and that's done deliberately, they know if they had one no one would sign up and then they refuse refunds to everyone. Review Source Barry R. It gives you the flexibility of recording videos either from your browser via the Chrome extension or directly from Gmail or even LinkedIn which is something we use a lot in our outreach. Plus, the customizations and the ability to add a video within a video are great. Finally, I has a minor issue with the product and when I got on to their customer support, my issue was handled by Bethany, one of the co-founders and resolved almost immediately. Pros Sendspark does what a lot of similar platforms out there do. But it does it better than most and more importantly, their customer support is stellar. The customization and interaction with the most popular platforms is appreciated. It has a variety of uses from cold video outreach to onboarding and even employee communication. Cons Nothing major except I would like a bit more features on the video page so that I can use it as a landing page. I collect testimonials, news , poems and small videos created by users for us. Pros Its easy for users. Anyone can use this. That makes us happy as we deal with non techie people for testimonials. I often collect short videos for our platform , message etc. The media is stored and accessed. Cons custom domain feature is expensive. Templates should be increased. Choosing the shape of my camera output was surprisingly useful depending n the video. Pros I love the ease of selection of the camera, screen, or both. It's very easy to stop a recording as well as you just click the extension icon instead of looking around for the stop button. Cons Processing the video took a few too many seconds and they don't yet have a background blur on the video. Cons Customer support response time is very quick but I'm still unclear on a recording timer available to display as I'm recording and screen sharing. Cons Currently the inability to add a custom tracking domain but this is on their development plan and is expected to be available soon. However, none of them beat Sendspark in terms of clean brand and interface and simplicity. Check in detail their features and how they work, if it suits you - it's definitely not a bad buy! Pros Sendspark is very easy to use, it's easy to create new videos, personalize their messaging based on individual user's properties (e.g. name, gender, company name etc.). Cons The platform, although looking like some really cool professional tool, has some major shortcomings which frankly surprised me. You don't have proper video editing, cutting and transitioning and even more disappointing was the fact that it is super difficult to actually personalize the videos themselves. You cannot actually record short personalize intro and then attach it to the long, detailed video - instead Sendspark's solution is to add the personalized message (e.g. Hello Frank, do you have 5 mins?) as text on the thumbnail of the video. Pros I'm incredibly glad I have found Sendspark because it's an excellent way to communicate with others through video. I really like that I can easily record through the Sendspark website with just a couple of clicks or that I can record something outside of Sendspark and just upload it. The webpage the platform creates with each video is a very valuable asset too. It's easy to customize it and to add a button that I can connect it to anything (a website, my Facebook group, a resource or something people can buy). And I can even embed my Sendspark videos in emails?? That's priceless! Cons The only thing that came to mind that's missing (but I know it's coming) it's a mobile app so that I can get all the Sendspark goodness on my smartphone and tablet too. Review Source Ville H. For instance, Gmail, LinkedIn messenger or whatever the communication tool. Further, the video request tool enables the recipient to easily send a video message back to you. This is great for collecting videos with customer testimonials or have customers explain difficult concepts easily. Cons The screen recording feature where you have an overlay with your face doesn't always work properly such that your face isn't recorded with the screen. My clients love receiving them and it is all branded with my own company information. It makes me look very professional and friendly, which is entirely my brand. I like the thumbnail and the landing page works well for what I want, especially as it has the CTA button. I used it to re-engage with a client and it made them reply immediately as it is the inbetween of a meeting (which would take too long) and an email. So friendly. It is definitely a personalized touch and it has increased my conversions. Cons I don't have a con for it. It was easy to use and within minutes, I was sending emails with videos in them.
