Internet Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great product and customer service" February 1, 2023 5.0 Pros That it's simple and only does what it says. You want image optimization, you get it. The UI is super intuitive, you don't have to learn anything. Perfect to get started fast and use the actual product in your code instead of configuring in the dashboard for hours. Cons Nothing really in particular. I had some issues to get the Nuxt 3 component running, since google wants to see height and width properties on elements, but the plugin does it in another way, which is fine. Switched from [Cloudinary](https://www.capterra.com/p/135074/Cloudinary/) The UI of Cloudinary was too bloated, did not get used to it. Pros Avant, nous ne faisions que le strict minimum en termes d'optimisation d'images sur le site, et malgré cela leur préparation nous prenait du temps.Aujourd'hui ces aspects sont gérés en mode automatique parTwicPics, qui s'en sort haut la main. July 5, 2024 4.0 There have been some frustrations with caching and syncing with S3, but that may also be partially on S3. I'm not sure that it really delivers MUCH more than NextJS image optimization, but I haven't explored that enough yet. Generally, it's been a good experience. Pros Does a nice job of...doing its job. That is, with relatively little information, it 'auto-magically' renders images optimized for size, format, etc. It does more than the competition, such as Cloudinary, etc. Cons The dashboard is less than intuitive. You will see how much bandwidth you save but have very noticeable improvements on load times for users. The support has been great when I've needed it. Pros TwicPics was the easiest to implement for my needs. Their API simply uses URL parameters and it does the rest. Has amazing options for optimizing any images into webp low bandwidth, and auto-cropping. Has save me a lot more in bandwidth costs than their price of their service. Cons Their price plans are very reasonable, but not a lot of options. October 5, 2023 5.0 setting up TwicPics was super intuitive and easy and customer support are available for any questions. Pros TwicPics image optimization API helped me with offering different image sizes for users based on their screen size and using their SDK, I didn't have to even spend a minute to figure out the right sizes.The smaller images made my website: www.thataicollection.com to load faster and core web vitals (LCP) improved dramatically. Cons The fact that CDN cache invalidation is available only in paid version. But customer support assisted with this issue even on free tier. I'm a backend engineer by background, and I was able to spin this up in minutes and get web optimized pictures for a web app I'm working on. The amount of data transferred to the browser went from megabytes to kilobytes just by using the TwicPics loader. Cons This isn't the fault of TwicPics, but React gave me some pretty unhelpful error messages when trying to use the TwicPics loader for an image component in NextJS.
