Pros The product provides some valuable information for storage devices, which is useful when integrated with other sources, like SolarWinds NPM and SAM. You can get it running in a very short time, depending on which brand of storage arrays you use and whether they have the required licensing. Multi-vendor integration makes it useful for heterogeneous environments. Cons It falls short when providing anything else than low level technical information. You can't really do capacity management in a proper way. After using it for a few months, depending on the maturity of your requirements, you might realize it would've been better to pay twice as much for another product. If all your storage is from the same vendor, you might want to try the vendor specific monitoring products.
