My overall experience with chime has been nothing short of blew my socks right off. I enjoy the ease, the money saving features and that I can send and receive money just as I would with PayPal.

Pros

Sounds simple but what I like most about chime is how beautiful the not one but two cards look and feel.

Cons

What I like least is, why didn't I know about this bank years ago 😞. And this is exactly why I've been recommending chime to everyone and their brother 🙂 no joke I have.

I 100% love everything about my banking experience with this online bank. How easy it is to use and understand and I would absolutely refer this to all my friends and family.

Pros

It's easy to to send/receive money, it's a free online banking service, everything about it is easy to use and 100 % safe. And it also has a great credit building program as well.

Cons

The only downside I could find, which didn't bother me at all, was of course being an online bank there is no physical branches available.

Hated very second. The hung up on when I called customer service after they took my money and changed my mypay rate without a single notice but have no problem letting me know when they’ve raised it. They lie, do not use.

Pros

Nothing they’re the absolute worst. They won’t tell you when they’re changing your rate and take your money.

Cons

Everything. They steal money from military veterans and charge fees when they claim they don’t. They have little to no free atms.

Many banks offer free accounts, but you have to do something to kre it free, usually either direct deposit, or deposit every month. Chime is always free. You can also get a sign-up bonus for opening a new account.

Pros

no minimum, no mandatory transactions. Use it or not use it, your account is free. Early payday. If your payday is on Friday, it becomes Wednesday. Many ATMs in their network at no charge

Cons

its online only bank, therefore \*No physical banks, so you can't have your favorite banker, who will explain everything. (so limited customer support) \*You cannot get physical bank services like bank check \*I do not believe there are joint accounts, and definitely no custodian account.

Overall, Chime works well if you want simple banking with fewer fees, especially if you do everything online. But if you need more traditional banking features or fast help with account problems, it might not be the best fit.

Pros

Chime is a good option if you're looking for a basic, no-fee online bank. Signing up is easy, and I liked that there are no monthly fees, no overdraft fees (if you qualify), and you can get your paycheck a couple of days early with direct deposit. The mobile app is user-friendly and makes it easy to check balances, transfer money, or get alerts.

Cons

However, there are a few downsides. Since Chime is completely online, there are no physical branches, which can be frustrating if you need in-person help. Customer service is okay, but sometimes it takes a while to get issues resolved. Also, depositing cash can be inconvenient, since you have to go to a third-party store that may charge a fee.

Went to leave work one evening, went out to my truck to leave and realized my windshield was busted. Just so happens I had less than a hundred dollars in the bank. " New windshield is $340". Thanks to Chimes borrow feature, I was up and going before the day was over.

Pros

Chimes $5 boost is a handy asset. when your in a tuff spot. Chime has your back. $200 loans untill payday is also a perk Love the accessibility of being able to borrow money when I need it.

Cons

The app lags quite often. I've installed it on numerous devices. The same issue occurs.

I've had chime over a year. Since changing I have no problems with my money missing or debit/credit and deposits missing. My money is always there and even when late they notify you via email with a reason and apologize! What other app does this? NONE!

Pros

I love CHIME more than any other app. Credit Builder amazing. My credit jumped through hoops using this card

Cons

I don't like the fact every chime account isn't able to get the early pay and spot me bonus. If you have deposits meeting the amount what disqualified you? Fair for one is for all??

Pros

I love that Chime has the SpotMe feature. Where it allows me to go over a purchase of five dollars and chime will make sure the money is there and when you get the money you pay it back it’s pretty amazing charm. Also has a feature where you can send your friends $5 boots every month just for being there, which always makes for a good day.

Cons

I can’t think of many things that I don’t like about chime. It has everything you need in a bank account and more.

Overall, my experience with chime has always been flawless fro. My 1st time using & every time I've used it since! It was love at 1st use & I will be the 1st to refer other people to this app any time theyre looking for a new digital banking solution!

Pros

My favorite things about Chime are the user interface & the ability to move money from account to account with total ease. Being able to have a checking account & a savings account both in 1 application makes it easy to keep track my transactions & to be able to put money back in case there are times when a few extra bucks could really come in handy! I also really enjoy being able to send other people money & requesting it, as well.

Cons

Honestly, there aren't a whole lot of things about chime that i didn't like! I enjoy the applications overall usefulness & convenience!

Cons

I initially was only signing up to help a friend with a referral but there are so many features and with no fees, I have made Chime my primary bank card.

Pros

There are no fees. The sign up was easy and the referral bonus was nice. There is quite a few free ATM's. The early pay feature is nice. Although I have not tried it yet I see there is free tax filing as well.

Cons

So far there is nothing negative I can say about Chime.

What I like most about chime is that it gives you a boost when you need it. It’s called a spot means if you don’t have enough cash it spots you the cash depending on if u have direct deposit or not

That to get the best features you have to enroll in direct deposit which not everyone has a job that pays directly into the account

My overall experience with Chime is totally positive. Chime was a breath of fresh air when I had fraudulent activity in my Wells Fargo account. While Wells Fargo was charging me and closing my accounts for something that wasn't my fault, Chime was there for me and allowed me to open my account and continue to bank freely. That was some years ago and I still bank with them today.

Pros

At the moment I am loving the Spot Me feature. It allows my account to go overdraft up to a certain amount, and I can bring it into the positive anytime by simply depositing cash into the account. Also, the monthly Boost feature is a great perk. Send a friend $5 and they can send one back to you. The best part? The $5 doesn't come out of your account, it's paid by Chime.

Cons

The only downfall, would have to be the ATM fees. There is a $2.50 fee for using any ATM that is out of their network. Sometimes, there is no in-network ATM available, or in the area, so I have to use one that charges a fee, which can really add up quickly.

Member for over 3 years and it's the best mobile banking app ive used to date. With flawless quick transfers with cash app, PayPal, Venmo, and numerous other mobile banking apps. Its In my words its the best online banking app of 2022. Proud member GO CHIME!

Pros

My Credit Score was 300's and CHIME Credit Builder Built my credit back up for me just by me transferring to credit builder and in 2 months my score was in 600's. I highly recommend Chime for business and Personal Use.

Cons

None. Completely satisfied with this company, there product service, top notch customer service and best mobile banking experience with the best credit rebuilding tool and service in the industry, making CHIME years ahead of the competition and best in online banking technology

Pros

Chime is my new favorite banking app!! They make it super easy to set up direct deposit as you can easily copy and paste information. That also helps you not accidentally type the wrong information to your employer. It's also free of any monthly fees which is pretty rare for banking apps. I got my card in the mail in a week and the app let me know it was on its way. If you set up direct deposit you can get paid faster and if you are qualified than you can overdraft up to $200 without having to pay a fee. I love that feature the most because it comes in handy in emergencies. It has saved me a few times!! I believe they have options to help build or improve your credit as well. It's been a great experience!

Cons

The only thing that was a con was that customer service took a little longer than I expected but they still helped me resolve my issue.

My overall experience was not fun because I never got to use chime sure to customer service not knowing what the difference between authorized and Unauthorized and who should be banned from opening and using a legit account . I never got my chance to use chime the way I needed for to this . Although I would still recommended others to use and I would try again as well because I loved the extras and features.

Pros

What I like most about chime ? The features and upgrade possibilities in the future. Ease of use and navigation. And that it is highly used by people throughout the US.

Cons

What did I like least about chime ? The customer service and their lack of knowledge when it comes to Unauthorized opening and use of an account you have no knowledge of by a unknown person.

What I like most about Chime is what everyone else loves most about it, you can get paid TWO DAYS EARLIER THAN YOUR ORIGINAL PAY DATE!!! All you have to do is enter your Chime account number and routing number for your direct deposit, and TADA! You are getting paid on Wednesday’s instead of Friday’s!!! If you have never used Chime before, well then, it is time for Chime!

Cons

There is nothing that I like least about Chime. It does everything that it is supposed to do as a banking debit card!
