I constantly forget passwords and this app let's use your fingerprint, amazing! Cons I had no problems with setup it even has overdraft protection that literally cost nothing. I use it daily and it’s where all of my deposits come too! I use it at my sole account. Pros Chime allows you to lock your card, they have free overdraft, and they deposit super early! They also added a social element to the app, no longer do you need a CashApp or PayPal to quickly send a friend some money. They even spot you if you overdraft and allow you to exchange Spot Me boosts monthly....for free! The referral program is awesome too. Cons I wish it had an investment feature like SoFi. Pros This product is a required piece of software from a client who forces all employees and suppliers to use it. Even the employees try to not use it. About the only thing good about it is that it is free to suppliers Cons What I like the least about Chime is that it is difficult to meet with folks outside the organization - so you still have to have Zoom or teams or gotomeeting. It was just like a regular bank account, but online. I don't have to pay fees to pay my bills or to reload the card. Cons I don't like that I have to pay fees if I use another bank's ATM. The card came shortly after I set up the account, I get notifications every time my deposits come through as well as balance alerts both in my email and the actual application itself. And you can link your accounts to it to be more financially efficient. And there is an option called SpotMe where they will cover your overdraft which I think is a sweet option to have. Pros I designated my Chime account to receive a portion of my pay for savings purposes and it usually shows up a day or two early. Also, you can build credit with it which is one of the main two reasons I wanted it. Cons They bombard you with marketing emails. I might need to change my email preferences or something. It's simple to use & best of all... it is FREE mobile banking! They even have a cool feature called Spot Me, so you & your friends can send each other boosts- Spot Me is to avoid Overdraft fees, Chime will spot you up to $X amount of money in case you overspend. There are several ATM options available, so getting your money isn't hard at all if you need to get cash. They also let you add a ChimeSign (similar to a CashTag w/ Cashapp) a P2P payment system thru Chime! Super neat!!! Cons There really isn't much I would change about Chime- why mess with the best? Pros I was able to easily get an account for my ebay business. It has a debit card that is easy to use at stores anywhere and online. Cons I am not able to transfer the funds to my paypal account. Pros I love how easy chime is to use, you can add money at different retailers, as well as send and receive money from anyone even if they don't have an account with chime. There are also no fees, even if you overdraft. Cons You wouldn't think that being to secure is an issue, but I couldn't access my account for a while because I didn't have an active phone number. It is also very easy to receive payments and pay people for my business. Cons There really are no cons I love that it's an online bank and no overdraft fee. Podcast Host Broadcast Media Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Banking Made Even Easier" August 15, 2021 5.0 Pros Chime has some amazing perks: firstly you get paid two-four days early (if your job pays you every Tuesday, you would get paid the Friday before). Secondly, they have an amazing feature called SpotMe. If you overdraw your account, Chime allows you to spend from $50 (for new users) to $100 (for esablished users) over your limit. You do have to pay it back, but it is a lot simpler to do that than either apply for a pay day loan or use one of the pay day advance apps. Cons A lot of apps that need bank account information (like the advance apps I mentioned) won't accept Chime as a proper bank account because it is prepaid. Review Source CF Carlos F. Pros Chime was very easy to set up as I have been looking for another online banking system. Chime included many rewards for me to earn as soon as I signed up for the account which was amazing. Sign up was simple. Can have them set up direct deposit or you can do it manually. Was able to link my bank easily. Love getting notifications when I spend and recieve money. My bank has no atms close to so I like that with chime I can use at alot of atms. Cons I searched for SSI direct deposit for them to do it but looks like I have to manually. It allows me to control a personal credit base while funding daily purchases and receiving monies from my job 2 days early. Pros It allows the user to get paid early, helps to control credit, and integrates a checking type account with a credit type account in a mobile app. Cons The only downfall is no checks can be written but it is easy to work around. It won't ever replace my main account but it's nice to have as a backup. Pros Easy and convenient to use for mobile banking. Cons No actual physical locations to use. Everything has to be online.
