Useless service - incompetent and poor communication. Kept sending me wrong instructions and were very inconvenient. Don't use

My overall experience with SiteGround has been nothing short of exceptional. I had a complex copyright issue involving another website, and SiteGround’s compliance team acted swiftly and decisively. They communicated clearly, treated the issue with real care, and made me feel supported every step of the way. It’s rare to find a company this professional and human at the same time. World-class service from start to finish!

Pros

Five stars for SiteGround — Excellent hosting platform and world-class support. Their compliance and technical team went above and beyond to resolve a serious issue quickly and professionally. Every interaction was friendly, fast, and focused on real solutions. If you want a host that genuinely cares about your business, this is it.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing to complain about. Every time I’ve needed help, the team has responded promptly and fixed the problem. The only “con” is that they’ve set the bar so high that no other hosting provider even comes close!

Great experience, have been using it for more than 10 years, cant complaint.

Pros

Siteground allows the creation of any web app with ease and great support. It has all the tools necessary and integrates well with all major tools out there.

Cons

It gets a little pricey after the first year, as any hosting company do.

After trying several services, I've settled with SiteGround. They are good at what they do and they are also recommended by the makes of WordPress. I think they might get paid for it but they also deliver and it is not just words.

Pros

Well managed hosting for WordPress, Little to no downtime, extremely good control panel with SSH capabilities and of all value for money! They are really good at what they do! Customer support is fast and resolve issues very quickly. Their migration tools help cut the time of migrating things and the systems are smooth for WordPress installations. A few of my clients run the WooCommerce with over 50k products and it woks flawlessly.

Cons

CDN is not the best! Also I think Siteground servers are targeted by bots. I generally insist on protecting with a dedicated IP and Cloudflare or Sucuri Service.

Great at first, but gradually became below average. Sad to see this happen.

Pros

At first, Siteground was a great offering. Good prices and prompt, helpful service.

Cons

Over time, Siteground became harder to contact. The personal service disappeared.

Having moved from another hosting service SiteGround was exactly what we were looking for. Being new to the tech side of things their customer service was so helpful setting it up for us and helping with the initial teething problems. For over seven years we have been using SiteGround and their pricing is extremely reasonable.

Pros

We have used SiteGround for over seven years and we are so impressed with their platform. Their user friendly dashboard gets better and better and their customer service has been superb.

Cons

Having discussed this with our team there really isn't anything that sticks out as a Con.

I didn't like having to constantly update my site, so moved away from WordPress. But if I was still on WordPress I'd still be with Siteground

We still use siteground for hosting and have for several years. We have had poor results with 2 add on services now. The sitescanner and the email marketing.

Pros

Set up was fairly straightforward with multiple warnings to clean your contact list....noted.

Cons

Hosting is good and support is fast. Other services...not so much. Email marketing is misleading. paid for 1000 contacts/10000 emails per month plan. Uploaded the first 600 of my contacts and sent an email....then added the other 300 for a total of 900 and tried to send the second email (should have been able to send 10 emails) and was prompted to upgrade. So could not send 2 emails to a contact list of 900. Very misleading.

Really good! The discount on the first year helped me so much to keep my websites live

Pros

I love that they offer a huge discount on the first year, I paid less than 5$ a month for the full first year on the shared hosting and it helped a lot my business

Cons

The VPS host could be a little cheaper and they could have more servers in Europe
