### "SiteGround's customer service is the best"

Pros

Their customer service via chat, they're always willing to help me whichever my problem (with the website/email) is. The software itself is great too, but my number one reason to choose SiteGround in every company I work with, is their customer service.

Cons

They're making it more difficult to reach customer service. Now they ask you to have a problem within a list of given issues.

When they get you in on sales its great, but expect a huge increase for your next years payment.

Pros

Reliable Hosting compared to other hosts I had used in the past and other than once, had great customer service that went above and beyond to help you with your needs.

Cons

The prices were a bit outrageous and always seemed to be increasing. However, they charge you for everything to where I switched hosts, saved so much money, and still have fantastic uptime.

Their reputation and I was refered to use them by a client.

Great at first, but gradually became below average. Sad to see this happen.

Pros

At first, Siteground was a great offering. Good prices and prompt, helpful service.

Cons

Over time, Siteground became harder to contact. The personal service disappeared.

Pros

I'm a subscriber to the GoGeek plan - I've been with several other hosting firms - and what I like best it the speed. Siteground has built a tech stack (fast PHP, caching, etc.) together with a dedicated WordPress plugin to ensure decent speed is attained. For me speed was also the main driver in selecting this firm and the delivered on that.

Cons

Support doesn't go the extra mile for their customers. I had some support cases, where I feel they didn't help the way they should've helped. Compared to experience with other hosters they more easily claim that the issue is related to my specific WordPress installation, while this was absolutely not always the case.

Overall, I really like Siteground, I have already recommended it to several of my clients. However, it is always worth thinking ahead about whether the service is worth it even after the discounted prices.

Pros

Fast and reliable service provider. It has a lot of features. I would especially highlight the fast speed, safety features and ease of use. All WordPress plans include WordPress installations, advanced caching and unique Optimizer.

Cons

There is one downside, and that is the price. The discounted price for the first registration are still very favorable, so it is worth paying up to several years in advance. However, after that, the price goes up a lot.

Pros

I switched to Site Ground from another hosting company and was overwhelmed at first with the idea of adjusting to another interface. I had no trouble transferring over our web content and it works seamlessly with our Google Workspace features for email. Their customer service is always quick and helpful.

Cons

It was a bit disorienting when the interface updated until we got used to the new look of things and the price went way up after our initial "deal" pricing, which was unfortunate.

Pros

Siteground is very fast to setup with great extra features such as SSL certificate. It's servers are blazing fast and easy to use graphical user interface. It has self helped materials and great uptime. It also have a free migration from other web hosting companies.

Right from the start their customer support team were excellent. They alleviated my concerns about switching hosts and answered all of my questions.

Pros

I primarily switched my three WordPress websites to SiteGround as I was disappointed with the speed I was getting with Bluehost. It was a bit of a risk as I wasn't exactly sure that I would see an increase in speed. But I did. Somewhere in the region of 50-100% quicker. Which is great for the user experience and helpful for SEO.

Cons

I really don't think there are any negatives, except maybe the pricing. I got a great deal for the first year, but after that it will be a little more expensive than the premium plan I was on with Bluehost.

Abysmal.

Pros

None. My website is not up and they won't give me access simply because the link to accept ownership expired. Apparently they have never heard of re-sending a welcome link. Unreliable company.

Cons

My web hosting company went out of business in August. I was on holiday and didn't click on the link to accept ownership from SiteGround so now I no longer have access to my site. SiteGround won't resend the link and doesn't understand that the web hosting company can't do anything to transfer ownership since they no longer exist.

Although there is nothing free with SiteGround, it makes everything easy for you to understand. By using Siteground, I know that my website is in great, safe, knowledgeable hands.

Pros

Siteground does a wonderful job hosting my website. I hardly ever have any downtime. The updates are seamless. They send you emails regarding updates or expirations in advanced. It's pretty user friendly if you have some background knowledge. If not, there are plenty of online tutorials, and their customer service is available to assist as well.

Cons

After the initial annual trial cost, the cost increases significantly. If you have it in the budget, it's worth it. Also, keep in mind that there is nothing free with this software.

The data storage in this tool is comparatively less which can be increased. The pricing as well as the renewal pricing is more for this platform. Limited data usage policy

It's easy, they send email if something is needed to be changed. always clear explanations. and the couple of times i needed to contact them, wherever i am in the world, they have customer support in whatever language i need and are super efficient. only had to connect 2 times in 7 years
