It turns on in the morning and off at night. Pretty cool. I also discovered that you can display YouTube videos by uploading the URL and it plays them on a loop, which is great because the kids don't then watch the endless content scroll, which can be inappropriate for children. Cons It takes a bit to set up, though I think this was the fault of my Blackdove hardware, which also doesn't allow me to rotate the screen 180 degrees. It still shows on the screen, just compressed. (Apparently I have to reinstall the software for a proper display.) Also, there is an annoying, if minor UI issue.
