### "Cool Down Cafe"

May 24, 2026

5.0

My experience has been wonderful so far. I never have an issues with going offline and if I had to call customer service they were great in walking me through the necessary steps

Pros

The ease of building a menu board. It was very easy to build and even easier to make updates I liked the options of adding pictures to my menu

Cons

I felt there should be more templates available for each individual type of business. I think new ones should be made available as time goes by

### "Reliable office signage on Raspberry Pi"

June 1, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with has been excellent. We use it in the office for digital signage and internal communications, mainly to share announcements, reminders, company updates, and practical information on a monitor that everyone can see. It has made day-to-day communication easier because we can keep important messages visible without sending another email or chat message. The value for money is one of the strongest points. We run Yodeck on Raspberry Pi devices, including older models, and I really like that the players use almost no power while still being dependable. The player functionality has been solid for us, and once a device is set up it mostly just works in the background. Content management is simple and flexible. It is easy to update announcements, organize playlists, schedule content, and keep the screen fresh. The software has a lot of features, but for our use case it still feels approachable. We have not had any major bugs or issues, and the system has been stable in everyday use. Support and documentation have also been helpful when we needed guidance. For an office manager or IT person looking for a reliable internal communication screen, Yodeck is easy to recommend. It is feature rich, affordable to run, works great with Raspberry Pi hardware, and has been a genuinely useful tool for our team.

Pros

has been a fantastic fit for our office. We use it for internal communication on a shared monitor, showing announcements, reminders, and useful information for the team. The biggest win for us is how easy it is to run on Raspberry Pi devices, including older ones. They barely use any power, the setup is inexpensive, and once everything is running it is very low maintenance. The platform is also full of useful features for managing content, scheduling messages, and keeping the screen up to date without making the process feel complicated. For office digital signage, it gives us a lot of value and it has been very reliable.

Cons

The only minor drawback is that the first setup takes a little bit of learning, especially when you are configuring players, layouts, and schedules for the first time. After that initial learning curve, it becomes very straightforward to manage.

### "Intuitive Drag-and-Drop, but Missing Key Details to Fully Recommend"

April 9, 2026

3.0

My experience with has been a real mixed bag, balancing undeniable cost savings against a genuinely frustrating workflow. On one hand, I cannot deny that the pricing is fantastic. It is incredibly cheap compared to other digital signage options, which was a huge win for my budget. However, actually getting the system to work was a headache. Despite its reputation, I found the interface to be confusing, clunky, and far from intuitive. Setting up the hardware, trying to figure out how playlists and schedules sync together, and simply navigating the dashboard felt overly complicated. It took me way longer than it should have just to get a basic image running on my screen. Ultimately, I appreciate the low cost, but the steep learning curve made me question if the savings were worth the initial hassle.

Pros

its incredibly intuitive, drag-and-drop web interface, which allows anyone to create professional-looking displays without prior graphic design experience. Another major standout is its hardware flexibility. operates seamlessly on highly affordable Raspberry Pi players, keeping initial setup costs remarkably low.

Cons

Honestly, I am completely lost when it comes to using . Everyone says it’s supposed to be this incredibly intuitive, drag-and-drop digital signage platform, but the moment I log into the dashboard, I feel totally overwhelmed. I don’t understand how to properly link my screens, and the thought of configuring a Raspberry Pi player sounds like a foreign language to me. Navigating through the different widgets, media layers, playlists, and scheduling options just leaves me staring blankly at my monitor. I know there are plenty of tutorials and quick-start guides available online, but right now, the entire interface feels like a complicated puzzle. I simply want to get a basic image or video up on my TV, yet the initial learning curve is feeling much steeper than I originally anticipated.

### "Best Digital Signage device we have used till date offering best value at the same time"

June 5, 2026

5.0

I was scepticle at first because having to learn a new platform and create a new digital signage takes time but I managed to re-create the whole thing in a day, learned all the tricks with the device. The customer service is superb for they were quick to assist and very responsive so I must give them a hand on helping us fix a few issues.

Pros

The best part about is the player because with other signages you have to chose from different devices that it supports which gets complicates with licenses, different platforms and additional costs. If we were to use a Windows machine there is security issues, updates, Windows licenses and etc. If you use Brightsign some has wifi and some do not then comes the interface which gets complicated. With Yodeck all of the complicated hardware is removed for their player is very simple, cost effective and easy to setup.

Cons

There are 2 things that might need to be known. 1. since there is no need to update anything on the Pi, the platform could had been even smaller. 2. player speed, flipping between playlist could be better but this is a Pi afterall so this is not really a complaint just a wish. The

### "Good digital signage system that gets the job done"

June 1, 2026

5.0

Overall, has been a good system for us. We use it in a museum setting, so having a way to update screens and manage content without going to each player saves us a lot of time. Once everything is set up correctly, it works well and keeps things organized. There is a little learning curve with the players and some troubleshooting, but for day to day use it has been solid and dependable.

Pros

5 stars What I like most about is that once it is set up, it just works. We use it in a museum setting, so having something that lets us update screens without running around to every location saves a lot of time. It makes it easier to keep exhibition and event content organized, especially when things change last minute. It is also pretty easy to use after you get familiar with it. I am not saying there is no learning curve, because there is, but it is not something that feels impossible to figure out. For our needs, it has been reliable and practical.

Cons

Some of the setup and troubleshooting can take a little time, especially with the players or the network connection. A few settings could be easier to find. But overall, once everything is connected correctly, it has been a solid system for us.

### "Best-in-class, both in terms of value for money, and for service quality. Highly recommended!"

July 8, 2026

Absolutely amazing, from the setup process (which took no more than 5 minutes) to the way our content now displays with zero lag, crystal clear image quality and no spotty playback, honestly, flawless.

Pros

After using a competitor for the last 4 years, with a very mediocre experience, we recently switched to and from the first moment the players were plugged in and the content loaded the difference was noticeable IMMEDIATELY; no lag, crystal clear video, smooth playback, all boxes checked.

Cons

Honestly, nothing to mention. The interface is easy to use, simple and friendly with the ability to organise files, create playlists, add new screens etc. I cannot fault in any way.

### "MUST USE YODECK!!!!"

July 7, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with has been exceptional. It has streamlined our internal communication and messaging completely. It’s a rare software that balances robust, enterprise-level features with a clean, user-friendly interface. It just works, saves us tons of time, and does so at a fraction of the cost of other digital signage competitors. Highly recommended!

Pros

What stands out most about is its incredible ease of use paired with powerful content management features. Setting up layouts, schedules, and playlists is completely intuitive, even for team members who aren't tech-savvy. The platform is extremely stable, and the media player functionality is flawless—videos, images, and widgets render beautifully without lag. To top it all off, their value for money is unbeatable, especially with the free first-screen option, and their customer support team is lightning-fast and genuinely helpful whenever questions pop up.

Cons

There is very little to complain about. If I had to pick something, the advanced layout editor has a slight learning curve if you are trying to build highly complex, multi-layered custom templates from scratch. However, their pre-made templates and standard widgets more than make up for it, so it's barely an issue.

### "Why Yodeck Wins Over More Affordable Competitors for Client Onboarding"

June 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been great. I tried out Xibo as well, and even though it's cheaper, it was a bit too confusing for clients. Yodeck has been a welcome improvement in those aspects.

Pros

What I like most about is its user-friendly, intuitive interface. It makes content management incredibly easy for clients.

Cons

What I find least appealing about is its content editing feature. Although it offers many templates for easy creation, it only supports static images rather than video integration. This limits the templates' potential and restricts options for quick and easy content creation

Been using personally and commercially for about 2 years now. Videos, audio, powerpoint, word docs, web pages, all of it. We've got them set to auto-reboot every morning. Some are used to show camera feeds on a large TV to monitor truck deliveries

Pros

### "Easy Setup, Simple Management, and Reliable Performance"

January 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, the experience with has been very positive. It solved the problem of having to physically visit locations to update screen content. Now everything can be managed online and remotely, saving time and operational effort. The platform is reliable, easy to learn, and works exactly as expected.

Pros

The ease of use is definitely the biggest advantage. Installation was very fast and straightforward, and managing content both on the TV device and through the web platform is intuitive. The content management system works smoothly and allows remote updates without any complications, which makes daily operation much more efficient.

Cons

At the moment, I don’t have any major complaints. The platform has been stable, easy to use, and has met our needs so far. I haven’t encountered bugs or issues that affect performance or usability.

### "Yodeck for the win!"

February 28, 2026

5.0

Overall it coudn't be better. The ONLY thing that stands out a little bit (because it did impact me), was that when I set up the formal demo for my whole team with , at least half had trouble joining and we lost participation. I know it was a bit frustrating for my manager. I did give a list of all the participants emails ahead of time. All that said, I don't know exactly what that issue was related to, and it's possible some were not logged into the correct accounts. I think that's pretty unlikely though, considering how many had issues.

Pros

UX and UI are excellent. It's so well thought out. As a low level UX designer, I can't believe how often I come across glaring mistakes and pain points. This immediately causes me to lose some degree of respect for institution it's related to. While I may have designed some things slightly differently myself, 's UX/UI is one of the first in awhile where I have no complaints at all. What changes I would make are subjective in other words. It's an incredible value. Support is really good, and I'm impressed with the AI that's built in to support. It's very functional and usable.

Cons

This is pretty minor, but the only thing I'm not entirely impressed with is the tutorial/educational content. With a few exceptions as it relates to topics, there's very little detail. It's rather broad and basic. I would guess it's probably in early stages of development, and so it hasn't really impacted my perception of . This is entirely subjective, but I don't think the branding for Yodeck is all that great. While that doesn't matter much to me, I wonder if it was one of the reasons I had a hard time selling it to my team at first, and this is the only reason I'm mentioning it at all.

### "Amazing platform with incredible value."

March 12, 2026

4.0

So far its a solid 9.5/10. I have managed to find a solution for most of the options I am looking for and with some minor playing around you tend to make it work as close to perfect as you can.

Pros

A Single screen for free for life. Most other platforms give a trial then start charging so its nice to know you are not tied financially to a product.

Cons

Backend layout can be a bit cumbersome trying to figure out where specific apps have gone. Also pushing updates can sometimes lag but that could be bandwith related instead of platform related.

### "Easy-to-use and reliable digital signage platform"

September 2, 2025

5.0

Overall, has been an excellent digital signage solution for our organisation. It has streamlined the way we manage communications, saved time for our team, and improved consistency across locations. While there are areas for improvement, the platform offers great value for money and delivers exactly what we need for daily signage management.

Pros

is very user-friendly, making it easy to schedule and manage content across multiple displays. The ability to update screens remotely saves a huge amount of time, and the template options help keep signage professional without needing design expertise. The platform is reliable and integrates smoothly with different media formats.

Cons

Initial hardware setup can take longer than expected, especially when deploying at scale. Some advanced customisation features feel limited compared to more expensive enterprise solutions, and reporting/analytics could be more detailed.

Alternatives considered

[NowSignage](https://www.capterra.com/p/179236/NowSignage/)

Reason for choosing Yodeck

We chose because it offered the best balance of ease of use, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. Unlike some competitors that required more complex setup or came with higher licensing fees, Yodeck provided a straightforward, scalable solution that worked well across multiple screens with minimal training. The ability to manage everything remotely from one dashboard and the wide range of supported media formats made it the most practical choice. Its transparent pricing and reliable support also gave us confidence compared to other options.

### "Client-Friendly Digital Signage Platform That Makes Onboarding Easy"

May 1, 2026

5.0

has been an excellent digital signage platform for both deployment and client-facing use. The system is easy to configure, the interface is clean and intuitive, and the available apps, layouts, and content tools make it simple to build polished signage workflows without adding unnecessary complexity. One of the biggest advantages for us has been how client-friendly the platform is. The UI is easy for non-technical users to understand, which makes onboarding much smoother and allows clients to manage day-to-day content updates with confidence. The Yodeck team has also been great to work with. From the front-end sales process to technical support, they have been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Anytime we have needed assistance, the support team has jumped in quickly and helped resolve questions or issues in an efficient and professional manner. So far, we have not run into any bugs or platform-related issues. The system feels very stable, and the frequent feature updates give us confidence that the product is actively improving. After our previous digital signage provider shut down abruptly, moving to Yodeck has been a very positive decision and has given us a much stronger long-term solution for our clients.

Pros

is very client-friendly. The user interface is clean, easy to navigate, and simple enough for non-technical users to manage after training. The built-in app library, layout options, and content management tools make client onboarding much faster and allow us to create efficient workflows for different signage use cases.

Cons

At this point, we have not run into any major cons. The platform has been stable, and we have not experienced bugs or reliability issues. As long as the client workflow is properly scoped and designed around ’s capabilities, the system works very well.

### "Our remote control for offsite site "

July 10, 2026

4.0

Before implementing , managing our training calendar displays required manual oversight to ensure the schedule on the physical screens matched our website data and internal spreadsheets. Outdated information had to be manually purged, and slides had to be manually redesigned or updated every time a class schedule changed. Yodeck completely bridges that gap by allowing us to connect our screen layouts directly to automated cloud-hosted data pipelines. How that benefits us: The primary benefit is total time savings and a completely hands-off system. By allowing us to point a Yodeck screen layout directly to our automated Microsoft SharePoint and Power Automate workflows, the physical TV displays update themselves automatically. The moment a new class is scheduled or an old date passes, Yodeck handles the refresh smoothly behind the scenes. This ensures that everyone walking through our training center doors sees a perfectly accurate, beautifully branded, up-to-the-minute schedule without requiring a single minute of manual administrative updates from our staff. It provides corporate-level digital signage coordination with practically zero daily maintenance.

Pros

What I like most about is its exceptional ability to integrate seamlessly with standard corporate cloud tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and Excel. Instead of forcing us to manually design and upload static image files every time our training schedules change, Yodeck allows us to display live, dynamic documents that pull data automatically from our backend pipelines. The platform's reliability in rendering shared layouts and its hands-off scheduling features mean that once a display loop is set up, it requires zero daily maintenance. It perfectly balances a highly professional, on-brand visual aesthetic for our visitors with an incredibly simple, set-it-and-forget-it content management backend for our internal team.

Cons

What I like least about is that its built-in layout editor can be a bit rigid when it comes to formatting dense, text-based data tables or exact text alignment. When you are trying to display highly specific rows of information—like a detailed corporate training calendar with strict columns for topics, dates, and times—getting the text fields to align perfectly and scale cleanly across different monitor resolutions can be frustrating within the native dashboard. We had to rely on building our visual layouts externally in platforms like PowerPoint and pushing those slides to the screen via automated cloud files, rather than designing the structured text grids directly inside Yodeck's layout widgets. A more flexible, user-friendly grid alignment tool within the native editor would be a massive improvement.

### "Ideal Digital Signage for Community Hubs and Social Clubs – Simple, Affordable, and Effective"

March 19, 2026

5.0

has been a fantastic addition to our community hub and social club. We run it on a single Raspberry Pi with an HDMI splitter to power two screens around the venue, and it’s been completely reliable. For a community‑run space with mixed levels of technical confidence, it’s exactly the kind of solution we needed.

Pros

\- ery easy to set up and manage.\*\* Once the Raspberry Pi was connected, everything else was handled through ’s dashboard. - Volunteers can update content without any training. - Flexible layouts and media tools. Uploading posters, videos, and announcements is quick, and the layout editor makes it simple to create professional‑looking screens. - Perfect for promoting events and sharing community info. We use it for upcoming gigs, club nights, safety messages, and general notices. - Useful integrations. Canva designs drop straight in, countdown timers help build excitement for events, and the built‑in weather app is great for visitors planning their day. - Screen scheduling saves energy. We set screen hours to match our opening times, which keeps things efficient and hands‑free.

Cons

There’s not much to dislike. A few more community‑focused widgets would be welcome, but the current selection already covers most of our needs.

### "Amazing Performance & Great Support"

March 9, 2026

We maintain multiple retail locations, with at least 2 screens broadcasting various messages across a state-wide network. This has all but eliminated the need for a traveling "tv person" to keep our messaging consistent.

Pros

I love that has been consistent. They have improved the control panel and UI/UX of their service over the years, and they've done that with little to no pain points for me. The service is rock-solid, and I've always had an easy, and quick experience with the support staff.

Cons

I have nothing to complain about or be dissatisfied with. I am completely satisfied with their product. It is the easiest and most convenient of all the services we pay for.

### "Very efficient for internal communication"

April 18, 2026

5.0

Pros

What I liked most about is how easy it is to manage and deploy content across multiple screens. In practice, it’s very useful to display operational KPIs, internal announcements, or project updates in offices or sites. For example, in a multi-site environment, being able to push the same information instantly to all screens brings real consistency and saves time

Cons

What I liked least about is that reporting and analytics are still somewhat limited. If you want to measure impact or track engagement in a structured way, you may need additional tools. Also, initial setup with hardware (like Raspberry Pi) can be slightly technical for non-IT users

### "Reliable and Easy Digital Signage for Cafes"

January 8, 2026

5.0

Overall, has saved us time, reduced printing costs, and made our front-of-house presentation cleaner and more dynamic. It’s easy to use, stable, and doesn’t require constant attention, exactly what you want in a small business setting.

Pros

For a cafe environment, the biggest advantage is the ability to instantly update menu content, pricing, and specials from anywhere. It’s fast, dependable, and removes the hassle of reprinting and redesigning physical menus.

Cons

The platform works great, but the design templates are a bit limited. More built-in layouts, fonts, and styling options would make menu updates even faster.

### "Yodeck: easy digital signage for better productivity and communication"

April 6, 2026

5.0

Overall, has been a huge success for our implementation. It's very easy to use, even for non-tech folks. It's enabled us to boost our communication and productivity in some unexpected ways.

Pros

Super easy to use, great value, support has been very helpful when we needed them. Very flexible in what can be displayed in the signage, which has allowed us to use it in some creative ways to really boost communication and production.

Cons

Had some growing pains before we moved to an Enterprise account, struggled with the basic players we had initially. Have also had some very specific issues with web page scripting, that ended up being moving that specific display to a different system.

### "Great Once You Get the Hang of It"

April 11, 2026

5.0

Pros

I use the free version of to display artwork downloaded from Wikicommons for my kids on the Blackdove Samsung Frame. It turns on in the morning and off at night. Pretty cool. I also discovered that you can display YouTube videos by uploading the URL and it plays them on a loop, which is great because the kids don't then watch the endless content scroll, which can be inappropriate for children.

Cons

It takes a bit to set up, though I think this was the fault of my Blackdove hardware, which also doesn't allow me to rotate the screen 180 degrees. It still shows on the screen, just compressed. (Apparently I have to reinstall the software for a proper display.) Also, there is an annoying, if minor UI issue. When you change the media on a screen there is both a Save button in the upper right hand corner and a Save and Push button under the screen icon.

### "Very Easy to use and packs an amazing full of features"

July 6, 2026

5.0

It has been great and we've never had a downtime experience. Their support is actually awesome, and they have a wide support of devices. I'd recommend to any local business owner who is looking into digital signages or medias.

Pros

is very quick and easy to manage compared to other solutions. With their great templates, in under 2 minutes I was able to grab a holiday playlist of theirs and add the company logo to display on the TV for a company photo. Great work! The player functionality is supreme too! you can add timers and expirations, communication and messaging is quick, their support is very quick to resolve any issues. value for money, is amazing, they offer a free tiral of 1 screen and adding screen is very cheap too! theres no known bugs and issues on my side after using yodeck for months.

Cons

right now there is no feature to present a PDF or powerpoint directly from (i hope they do ) aside from these all purpose and features are amazing and delivers what is expected.

### "Canadian university Faculty loves Yodeck"

February 5, 2026

5.0

I use to manage a single screen and it has been a game-changer. It bridges the gap between complex digital signage and "just plugging in a computer." Once the initial browser-player hurdles were cleared, the system has been rock solid. It makes the right thing easy (scheduling, app integration) and the wrong thing hard (messy manual updates).

Pros

The "one screen free" tier is incredibly generous because it doesn't gatekeep the best features. The dashboard is surprisingly robust—having access to native apps like Instagram and weather updates makes the content look professional with very little effort. I love the freedom of remote configuration; being able to tweak the display from home while it’s running on a TV elsewhere is a massive win for efficiency.

Cons

The initial setup for a web-based player was a bit finicky. Getting Chrome to launch automatically, hit full-screen mode, and run reliably upon boot took some trial and error. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it requires a bit of technical patience at the start.

### "Effortless Screen Management with Room to Grow"

March 17, 2026

5.0

solves the challenge of centrally managing digital signage across multiple TVs without constant manual intervention. Instead of updating PowerPoints or content locally on each screen, everything is controlled from one place, saving a ton of time and reducing inconsistencies. For environments like production floors or offices where communication needs to be clear and consistent, it streamlines the entire process and ensures the right information is always displayed where it needs to be.

Pros

is incredibly easy to use and reliable, which is huge when you’re managing multiple screens. The interface is clean, scheduling content is straightforward, and once everything is set up, it just works. I especially like how simple it is to push updates across multiple displays without needing to touch each device. It’s also very flexible with different media types, and the overall stability makes it great for environments where you need screens running 24/7 without babysitting them.

Cons

There are definitely some limitations, especially when it comes to more advanced customization. Certain layouts and dynamic content options can feel a bit restrictive, and troubleshooting isn’t always as intuitive as it could be. When something goes wrong, it can take a bit of digging to figure out the root cause, especially compared to more enterprise-heavy solutions. Also, depending on your setup, performance can vary slightly across devices.
