Pros The number of Apps included with the subscription is impressive and the level of customer support remains high, especially considering the complexity of digital signage. They are always ready to help in any matter, and when they do they follow up with you to make sure everything is resolved to your satisfaction. Content is clear and easy to manipulate and use. I can see us expanding our fleet of signage quickly. Pros I love that there is a free tier I can use as a demo before expanding. This is allowing me to test fully and see how it all works. The ease of of use is also a game changer. I have used other tools that were a lot more difficult. Support and communication around how to use the tools and manage daily content was definitely next level. The Yodeck player will probably be my next purchase because they review so well. Cons There has not been anything as of yet. We had an issue with a bug on the Google side, but a simple repush corrected this. For small to medium-sized businesses looking for a reliable and easy-to-use digital signage solution, Yodeck is absolutely recommended. Pros Setup is an absolute breeze ("plug & play"). It is so simple and quick to use that there are no barriers to my day-to-day use of it. I can communicate new messages confidently and quickly within our organisation, and it has even provided a medium to host things like competitions, which our staff really enjoy. I use Canva to create video content for the TVs, which is easily imported into Yodeck and helps keep everything easy to use. For the price, it's hard to fault Yodeck. Making content with the layout builder is very intuitive, and I appreciate the ability to create playlists with a mixture of media (images, layouts, videos). I rarely run into bugs or glitches, and the system is quick to use. The Yodeck player on the FireTV stick is very simple to install, and once connected, it's as simple as 'turn on and leave alone'. Being able to push content to take over all or only specific TVs is an added bonus, which is useful for our internal company messaging. Cons There isn't a lot I don't like about Yodeck, but to be picky, having some kind of video builder in addition to the existing layout builder would further help me develop more professional and visually engaging content. Another issue is the reliablility of the FireTV app, which seems to periodically close without reason, though I suspect this is more a failing of the hardware than it is Yodeck's software. The platform is easy to manage, reliable, and provides all the features we need for digital signage without unnecessary complexity. On the downside, we experienced some limitations with the Raspberry Pi player, mainly because the user agent is very basic and created a few compatibility issues in our use case. That said, the Windows player has been excellent. We run it on a standard laptop and it has been stable, performant, and trouble-free. Overall, we're very satisfied with Yodeck and would recommend it, especially when using the Windows player. Pros What I like best about Yodeck is its flexibility and ease of management. It makes it very simple to manage a pool of screens from a central platform, deploy content quickly, and keep everything organised. Whether you have a few displays or many, the solution scales well and gives you a lot of control without adding complexity. Cons The main drawback we experienced was with the Raspberry Pi player. We use it in our football clubhouse to display team news, upcoming fixtures, sponsor information and special offers, and it has made managing all of this much easier. The system is straightforward to set up and use, and being able to manage the screens remotely is particularly useful for a volunteer-run grassroots football club. We can update content whenever we need to without having to be at the ground, and changes can be made quickly when fixtures, offers or other information changes. Pros The thing I like most about Yodeck is how simple it is to manage. Once the player is set up, you can control everything remotely from one place without having to physically visit the screen. Creating playlists, uploading content and scheduling when things appear is straightforward, and changes are reflected quickly. For us, it removes a lot of the hassle you normally associate with digital signage. It feels like a system that has been designed with ease of use in mind, rather than making things unnecessarily complicated. The fact that it can run on relatively inexpensive hardware is another big plus, as it makes it practical to roll out across multiple screens without a huge upfront investment. Cons There isn't really anything major that I dislike about Yodeck. Like any software, there are a few areas where you can sometimes find yourself looking for a particular setting or feature, but overall I've found it very easy to use. If I had to pick something, I'd say that some of the more advanced options could perhaps be made a little more intuitive for new users. That said, once you've spent a little time getting familiar with the platform, it becomes very straightforward and hasn't caused us any significant problems.
