Audio Visual Technician Alternative Dispute Resolution Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Yodeck saves you time" April 28, 2026 4.0 We had a resource issue with how frequently we could update the signage. Yodeck removes that issue and enables instant updates. Pros We used to rely on media uploaded directly to our TVs, and Yodeck now saves me a lot of time each month, which adds real value for the investment. The content creators now have much more control and capability to communicate their message. Support has been very helpful, and the AI chatbot even helped me work through an issue with browser extensions quickly. The players feel robust and have consistently high uptime. Overall, managing our signage estate remotely is straightforward and gives us much more capability than before. Cons I can’t think of any downsides. Possibly the cost per screen but that is offset by less time spent updating and enabling more rapid updates. Out of 40+ devices only 1 had an issue and that was swiftly replaced. Cons Not had any issues so far with yodeck other than that one device not working but was replaced quickly so not an issue. The times, the uploading and creating are very easy to use and understand. The raspberry pi computers when working are plug and play and work ok. Cons The Raspberry Pi's break very easily, usually when the power cycles. I've had to reflash them myself many times before they eventually broke after only about a year of use. Running 24/7 self-service music studios across multiple locations means we can't always have staff on-site, but Yodeck lets us update content, schedules, and important information from anywhere. The playlist functionality has been perfect for showcasing our member spotlights, upcoming events, and membership packages. The ease of use is outstanding - even our less tech-savvy team members picked it up quickly. Setting up new displays as we've expanded has been plug-and-play simple. Cons Flashing isn't that easy compared to other but Rasp Pi very good hardware. Pros It was easy to set up, it is easy to update my playlists, it has an app so I can use it on the go. The cost is super low for everything I get. I also like that I can use either images or videos or a combination of both on my screens. Cons I don't like the constant emails telling me my screens are down and that may be because it is a setting I haven't found. My screens of course are down during the hours we are closed. Their support team responds quickly, too. Cons Nothing major so far. The only limitation for me is that payment is restricted to credit cards. That can be a limitation for a Dutch company. The plug-and-play players make deploying new screens incredibly fast. The web interface is very intuitive – using drag-and-drop to create playlists and multi-zone layouts is straightforward. Cons The purchasing of new licenses/screens/players is a little bit confusing. You have the option to just add one license or also purchase various player models from them. If you want to buy the more powerful player, you also have to upgrade your account to Premium. I tried a few other digital signage tools but they were all either too expensive or didn't work with what I had. Yodeck is easy to use and very intuitive. The only issue I had with it was resolved immediately by the support team when I entered a ticket in. I was able to get my issue resolved within the same day I asked for help. Pros Yodeck worked with the equipment I already had on hand. It's very easy to set up and extremely customizable. Cons The layout editor needs a little work. Media doesn't fit well on TVs with any of the fit/crop options and no way to preview it without exiting the tool entirely. Manager of School Operations Fine Art Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Enjoying But Wish It Worked On Samsung Like The Website Says" May 28, 2026 4.0 So far I’ve had a good experience in that I was able to figure out where to do everything in the app. Unfortunately the app doesn’t show up on the Samsung tv I got which has been a big disappointment because everything on your site says it will and it doesn’t, which threw the plan off a lot and now I’m pack peddling trying to figure out how to solve it when I budgeted for the free app. I’m disappointed it’s not available on a Samsung and wish the website wouldn’t say it does work with them, I would have planned accordingly… I have received nice customer service so far. Pros I like the ease of being able to update it in real time very quickly and I love that I can schedule when things will change over Cons I wish it were easier to edit and work with the slides in yodeck. The raspberry Pi hardware is very simple to use, as is the software. As I work for a charity, it is really helpful to have a free option to get us up and running, with the option to expand and use the paid version later on. I'm really pleased with how simple it us to manage and update the content regularly, with scheduling. Cons I honestly can't think of anything to say to this.
