It was quick and easy to setup the player and the outcome looks amazing - I have had many staff members express their excitement when viewing Yodeck for the first time. Pros Ease of use with the drag-and-drop and AI assistance. With using the free option and only purchasing the player we do not need to pay a monthly fee, great value for money. The customer support is easy to access with many training videos available. Cons You can't rotate or flip images when creating a layout. This just limits what you can do and how it looks. Using our players as hallway digital signage for the school is really looking up compared to what it used to be and wow it has really not just turned one school around but the whole district is interested in the Yodeck experience. Pros The accessibility of Yodeck just fundamentally makes sense. ITs easy as a manager and user to identify your Yodeck and make changes needed according to your school district. Cons The price is a bit high and would be nice to see if there was a discount after purchasing so many devices, or maybe having 2 years of Yodeck you get the third a percentage off. Our rep was a great help on answering questions and helping us out with anything we asked. Pros It is very easy to use and the cost is amazing. We were looking for something easy for users to understand and navigate. Easy to post, and use. Yodeck met our needs Cons We have not used it all that much. But from what we did use we did not find anything that we did not like. Now it takes me minutes to update the loop whenever we have new content to push out. Pros The first thing I like is the price. The second and most important thing is how easy it is to create the loops that play on our TV for our tenants to see. We make the graphics/slides we want, upload them as JPGs, pop them in a playlist and push them to the screen. Couldn't be easier. Pros It works. Well-designed UI that is laid-out and works how you'd expect it to (seemingly rare these days), and the platform runs on almost anything; we've repurposed an old consumer Firestick to show some rolling ads. Love that it's free for the first screen. Cons Occasionally when pushing an update to our Firestick screen, it doesn't update first time - but honestly, I think this is more to do with the Firestick than Yodeck itself. April 28, 2025 5.0 The Yodeck player and the online software is so easy to use. I figured it out in about an afternoon. I am not a creative person, I work in facilities. I was tasked with finding a simple, inexpensive solution for a lobby TV presentation. I uploaded some web content, pdfs, photos, and created layouts. I had my doubts, but it works great! I have had so many compliments on the presentation on the TVs. We were so happy with the results, that we ordered 2 more players for our other TVs. Pros The Yodeck player and the online software is so easy to use. I figured it out in about an afternoon. It has built in templates, scheduling, and there are a variety of apps that can be used to add things like the weather or news. Cons I have only been using the Yodeck player for a few weeks. I have not found anything that I don't like about it. It does exactly what it is meant to do. We chose the annual plan with included Raspberry Pi devices and, nearly six months in, are very happy with both the platform and device performance. The product does everything I want it to do and I am very happy with it. Pros Yodeck is a wonderful product. For me I am using it on one screen to display a clock, the weather, family photos and a live stream of the news. Having a screen on all day in our living room with these things adds a wonderful touch to our home. Seeing our pictures makes us happy. The weather is wonderful to see whenever we look at it so we can plan our day. The clock on the screen is our main clock in the room and the news is wonderful to keep up with events throughout the day. I had one problem and support was some of the best support I ever received. They went into my account and fixed the problem for me within minutes. Wonderful, Wonderful service. Cons There was nothing I didn't like about Yodeck. Everything I tried with the service went pretty much perfectly and the one thing I had a problem with was fixed in my account instantly by support within minutes. Review Source pablo M. Pros This is incredibly easy to create and distribute different messages, videos, images and info such as real-time traffic and weather to different screens across dozens of locations around Texas. It is perfect for what I need it to do. Pros I've been using Yodeck for several years and it is consistently one of the cleanest and easiest pieces of software I use. It has just enough bells and whistles to be functional and do everything I want it to, and not too many to be distracting. We change our video displays almost every week and I know that I can do this quickly and easily without any fuss. Over the course of my several years, I have had to reach out to customer service only a few times. Each time the representatives were great to work with and provided solutions within minutes. I highly recommend Yodeck. Cons I don't know what I don't know, but I fear that if it were to add a bunch of bells and whistles the ease of use would deteriorate. Great flexibility to get what we need done. This product has been a fantastic addition for our business and the best of its kind product for what we need. Cons While we sometimes have technical challenges, they usually seem to be TV related as opposed to the YoDeck player. The setup was relatively simple and hasn't needed changes since it was first set up. We update the media and schedules about twice a month, and it has worked as expected every time. Pros We've used Yodeck for years and it's been very reliable. The UI is straightforward and does everything we need. The ability to schedule media has been very useful. We were able to get started for free using our own hardware, which was a big plus. Cons We use Figma for creating our designs, and Yodeck doesn't have a Figma integration.
