Just a really brilliant platform for displaying our ads Pros Very easy to use and provides a fantastic advertising screen in our little cafe. People always comment on how cool it is to see planes flying, which we have on ADSB on display. Very few bugs or issues, always reliable and emails us if it goes down for whatever reason, always been on our side, like a powercut. Excellent value for money and a great content management platform overall. Not had to deal with customer support because its always been reliable. Before switching to Yodeck, we relied on a USB stick to manually update content on our screens. Now, I value the reliable control it gives me over all our screens, without the need to be physically present on-site. Cons There’s very little I dislike about the platform, though at times the advanced customisation options can seem somewhat limited, and it can take a few extra clicks to locate certain features. We tried the free version of Yodeck with the existing mini-PC-driven EBBs. The team was so enamored with the ease of use that we ended up replacing the mini-PCs with Yodeck players. Pros Yodeck is incredibly easy to set up and use. Within just an hour of receiving the Yodeck players, we had already created a playlist that included a combination of real-time sales information and HR alerts, such as 'Happy Birthday Toni.' Cons Up to this point, I have found very little to dislike, with maybe the assigning of playlists to screens is a bit convoluted at first, until you understand the flow. Creative Pastor Religious Institutions Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Ideal Digital Signage Solution For Church Lobby" September 25, 2025 5.0 Pros I would say that my favorite thing about the Yodeck is it's easy to navigate interface. We use Yodeck to play slides in our lobby at my Church. We are a setup/teardown Church that meets at a school. Because of this, I am not able to get to our signage until Sunday morning. With the user interface, I am able to update our slides each week from home and then send it to the tv that we use. Each week, I know that the slides will be up to date and I don't have to worry about them in the business of Sunday morning. Cons There isn't much not to love about Yodeck. If I had to say something that wasn't ideal, it would be that you cannot add a template inside another template. You are only able to put a music playlist on a template, but I cannot add that template of music onto another template (for instance, a calendar.) Review Source MD Mark D. Pros The platform is very easy to understand and use, I had never used it or an alternative before but it was very intuitive. Installation/implementation was very easy, full instructions given and straightforward to follow. Its full of features that allow screens to be updated regular and managed remotely. On the occasion I had to contact support they were very responsive and resolved the issue straight away. However, these are getting harder to find, and they dont fully support a raspberry pi yet. Pros The best thing I found about Yodeck was how easy it was to use and the player functionality was way beyond what I was expecting. Cons I should have started using it a long time ago! We're coming from a product this had several diseperate interfaces for management. Yodeck combines these all into one. Pros They solve near real-time performance issues and on-boarding is stupid simple if you define the wireless settings during your order. Cons The price isn't free, but no good product is. Very easy to use, lots of flexibility, easy to set up and it always ran consistently at the scheduled times. Pros How easy it was to set up and get running; the flexibility and integrations (we had our dashboards, social media, event updates, company info) running through the day in our office; the ability to schedule the timing of the screen, and set publish and expiry times for specific content, the weather feature). Cons Since I have to have a minimum number of characters, the only downside is that they're based in the US. It makes sense most of the time. The support staff is also very, very good. They are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Cons It takes a little time to get used to it. We use our Yodeck players to display company metrics, announcements and priority boards from our ERP system thanks to the PowerBI native app. These things all work well setup as a 'Playlist'. However, I do wish the Yodeck players were a bit more powerful. Things can take a bit to load between slides making some 'tricks' required such as setting PowerBI to mostly static content (it takes an image of the metrics and updates them on an interval) and 'keeping webpages open' when it comes to showing web content. I do wish they had a native app integration for Microsoft Office online suite, such as the Excel or PowerPoint Online as these require workarounds like anonymous links to be able to use. It would be awesome if they could integrate this similar to PowerBI where you can link an O365 account to display an Excel Online spreadsheet without opening these up with a public URL. Pros Easy to use and great selection of apps available, reasonable pricing. Cons Some aspects of the layout design feature could be a bit more expanded. It was easy to set up, and it intigrated with Canva, which is our main design platform. With our previous system we had to export everything and then re-upload it. Yodeck takes all that work out. Cons The only thing is the constant $8/month. First year is fine because you get free players, but ongoing is expensive.
