The installation is simple, and it has all the features you need. Moreover, since it is user-friendly, even non-experts can easily access most of its functions. Cons The availability of desired features may be limited depending on the device's performance. For example, the Raspberry Pi 3B+ tends to run slowly. " December 5, 2024 5.0 Very positive experience, from arranging demo and walkthrough of Dashboard, to ordering players and subscriptions, to actually using in our environment. Pros Simplicity of operation and set up, super responsive support (proactive), cost of operation. Coming from BrightSign, all of these are incredible. Cons Honestly, nothing on Yodeck side. The biggest challenge was getting Yodeck software to run on a couple of BrightSign devices we still wanted to use but the difficulty came from BrightSign devices, not Yodeck. Switched from [Bright](https://www.capterra.com/p/126242/BrightPay/) They were upping their costs of subscription to a very high amount, but honestly the biggest nail in the coffin for the switch was the extreme lack of support. You get a "free" support tier that was EXTREMELY slow to respond to any requests, and all other \*slightly\* more responsive help tiers COST money. This is unacceptable for how much their players and subscriptions cost. Plus, their software and dashboards are just NOT intuitive and very cumbersome to set up and configure. Lots of manual interactions and firmware updating with SD cards and network connectivity issues. Sometimes the layout abilities seem limited, but what you get for a basic plan is suitable. Pros How easy it is to set up at multiple locations around the country. I just sent the instructions to our property managers and they were all able to set up the players without me having to be there. Cons Cannot use a layout in a playlist that's already in a layout. Everything seems easy to use and also the option to get first screen for free is great for testing. Pros The easiest portal to navigate and so many options to post the context and push immediately to your screens. Cons The least is that sometimes the connection breaks and the screen has this border or zoom out effect but a simple reboot fixes this. December 2, 2024 5.0 My experience with Yodeck has been amazing. It solves so many issues for us, and has been the easiest solution to solve our signage problem. Pros Yodeck has been our go to for any digital signage applications. We use it everywhere and it is super easy to use. Setting it up is super simple, and you even program the yodeck players before you recieve it, so all you do is plug it in and it works! The kiosk application has been super helpful as well and is way easer to setup than any other kiosk solution I have found. If you have multiple screens/signs you can manage it all from the cloud. So you don't have to login to each one individually. You don't even have to buy their player, if you have an exisitng device yodeck can go on there. October 22, 2024 5.0 Having tried several of the competitors that have apps for Amazon Fire Sticks, this one had all the features I wanted, allowed full and free use to try things out with a single screen and generally made my life easier than the competitors I explored. Pros It's easy to use. The free options give full features for a single screen, the prices for adding extra screens are reasonable too. The solution works flawlessly using the Yodeck app on an Amazon Fire Stick, which means no special equipment is needed ... as long as you have a Wifi connection available. If you pay for a year at a time, Yodeck even give you a free Raspberry Pi player. So far, I've only pointed Yodeck at webpages which I maintain and fed it still images, but it can also handle video, audio and other sources if you opt for a the premium or enterprise plan. I've only used the free and basic plans. Yodeck and other providers have fuller featured options, but the extra options came with complexity and expense and in my case simply weren't needed. Cons I had previously used a Raspberry Pi as one of my Yodeck players, which worked perfectly once set up, but the initial set up was fiddly. The process may have improved since then, however. And as we could use already available equipment, a Fire Stick, we could get started at zero cost. Pricing was a major factor as we're using it as part of a not-for-profit event.
